About the role
We are looking for a creative, pro-active and outgoing Corporate Relationship Manager to join our team who can build on our successful corporate partnership programme. This is an exciting role that combines new business and account management, implementing Shooting Star Children’s Hospices corporate fundraising strategy with the aim of maximising income from corporate partnerships.
We would welcome applications from candidates with strong corporate fundraising or comparable experience who can maintain and develop existing relationships with corporate partners and proactively identify and secure new relationships. You will understand the need for a bespoke approach to each corporate, understanding their requirements and how best to achieve a mutually beneficial relationship. You will need to be committed, self-motivated and passionate about the work of the charity, and have demonstrable experience of delivering fundraising targets.
As a key member of our Corporate Engagement Team, you will be responsible for researching prospective corporate partners for specific industry sectors and building a pipeline of potential sources of income, identifying new opportunities and growing our partnership base as well as maximising income from current partners, and leading on our corporate volunteering programme. You will be a natural communicator who has the ability to persuade, influence and inspire, with the confidence to build relationships at a senior level, across various departments and industries.

Purpose of job:
The Fundraising Event and Challenges Lead is responsible for overseeing the fundraising events portfolio, developing and driving the strategy, and leading the delivery of a wide-ranging events and challenges portfolio to deliver ambitious organisational objectives and fundraising growth targets. Key responsibilities:
· Leads the strategy setting and annual planning and budget setting for Comic Relief’s events, including building financial models, developing business cases and strategic plans.

The Role

The latest research suggesting that the number of children and young people at risk of hunger has rocketed to three million means that one in five children don't have enough to eat.
When a child is too hungry to learn, when they’re aching for something to eat, they can’t concentrate. They can’t absorb information. Big feelings and worries can be impossible to control. They fall behind in their studies.
Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma.

Fundraising is critical to delivering our mission and ensuring we can support as many children and young people facing disadvantage to open doors to their future. The Philanthropy Team as a whole has a combined target income for the current year (2023-24) of £1.83 million (growing to £2.35m as our target for next year), of which approximately £850k is from corporate donors and their foundations, £100k is from individuals, and the remaining from trusts and foundations. We are looking for a Fundraising Manager to work within our passionate Philanthropy Team to help grow our fundraised income and develop and maintain an effective, high-quality funding pipeline. Focussing predominantly on eliciting funding from trusts and foundations, and working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, CEO and Corporate Partnerships Manager, the Fundraising Manager will ensure the effective management of existing funder relations and take responsibility for ensuring Action Tutoring meets its reporting obligations. Duties and responsibilities

Working within the IT Department, the Senior Support Analyst is the primary resource responsible for advanced 3rd line support of our systems, infrastructure, and networks. - IT solution implementation skills across multiple technologies, from the initial proof of concept to the final solution delivery and signoff.
- Strong communication skills with the flexibility to deal with a varied customer base.
- Coaching or training end users in technical expertise.
- Knowledge of VoIP telephony.
- Knowledge of spam filtering software and configuring policies
- Knowledge of system backups, for example, Microsoft Azure Backup Service.
- Skills in supporting a range of specific solutions are desirable, including hypervisors (Hyper-V), Cisco Meraki, Mimecast, Bitdefender, AlienVault SIEM, PaperCut, PRTG, Jira, EPOS systems, PDQ Deploy, Access Finance, Nexudus, Priava or similar events management software, and Tessitura.
