Knights Youth Centre (KYC) was established in 1936 as an independent Christian Charity. The centre provides a range of universal and targeted youth work programmes in partnership with a number of statutory and voluntary organisations and is located on the boundary of the Clapham Park Estate (the largest estate in the Borough of Lambeth) in an area of high social need. In 2025 KYC joined the Oasis family of charities and is now known as Oasis Knights. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Youth and Community Leader to manage and develop the work at Oasis Knights. This is an opportunity to lead a team committed to making a tangible difference in the lives young people, their families and the broader community. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership and operational management, which includes overseeing a range of youth and community activities. A critical aspect of this role involves fundraising, business development, and monitoring the impact of all initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
· Overseeing youth provision, including mentoring, youth clubs and targeted interventions.
· Ensuring effective financial management and income generation to sustain and expand services.
· Managing and growing a team of staff and volunteers, ensuring alignment with Oasis’ ethos and values.
· Building strong partnerships with local stakeholders to support the delivery of impactful youth projects.
· Developing and maintaining monitoring and evaluation frameworks to demonstrate the impact of activities.
· Working with the building narrative to ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and other statutory requirements.
The successful post holder must have:
· A degree-level qualification or equivalent in youth work, community development or a related field.
· Proven experience in leading youth projects and managing diverse teams.
· Strong fundraising and income generation skills, with the ability to create and implement successful strategies.
· Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
· Knowledge of safeguarding practices and experience working with young people in challenging environments.
· A track record of developing and implementing strategic plans in partnership with stakeholders.

What the job involves
We’re on the lookout for a Legacy and In Memory Executive to join our Individual Giving Team here at Prostate Cancer UK. This role focuses on legacy and in-memory giving - including gifts in Wills which are some of the most meaningful contributions we receive, helping us fund research that will save and improve lives.

You’ll be delivering thoughtful, well-timed and engaging communications to a variety of audiences, helping us reach new supporters and deepen relationships with those already connected to us. Your work will play a vital part in raising awareness, encouraging supporters to consider leaving a gift in their Will, and providing meaningful ways to remember loved ones.
Working closely with our Legacy and In Memory Manager, you’ll help manage relationships with external agencies and collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to make sure our plans are delivered smoothly and successfully. It’s a role where your creativity, empathy and organisation will all come into play.
You’ll also be responsible for the operational duties of the Prostate Cancer Memorial Sculpture – a poignant tribute to the dads, grandads, brothers and friends we’ve lost to prostate cancer, and a place for families and communities to reflect, remember and raise awareness.

How and where we work
Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs.
Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

We’re looking for a Head of Communications & Marketing to advance greater public understanding of humanism by reaching new and growing audiences. The role also comes with strategic responsibility for improving brand awareness and driving sales for key products and brands, including Humanist Ceremonies (non-religious weddings, funerals, and naming ceremonies), the award-winning New Humanist magazine (est. 1885), podcasts, books, and a nationwide programme of prestige events and festivals.
This is a senior role with real scope. You will lead our communications team across print, digital, events, and marketing, and make sure what we put out is clear, compelling, consistent, and rooted in our purpose. As well as marketing, this role has responsibility for content, including for our website and social media channels, making sure these are updated with high-quality, accessible, engaging, and well-optimised educational and brand-building materials pitched at a range of target audiences.
This role is about leadership as much as delivery. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clear organisational communications grid, and for working closely with colleagues across the organisation, particularly the Head of Press & Campaign Communications and the Head of Fundraising, to make sure our messaging, brand, and tone are joined up and effective.
You will be at your best when working to ambitious but achievable KPIs and making strategic decisions on the basis of evidence, including open and clickthrough rates, A/B testing, site behaviour and visit numbers, sales conversions, surveys, and feedback.

If you don't have experience at this level already you will need to be able to showcase to us – both at interview, and in your application – that you have significant experience of decision-making for communications or marketing in a complex organisation. About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in helping Crisis secure the income needed to end homelessness. Working across a portfolio of new and existing grant funders, the postholder will build strong, strategic relationships that lead to five and six figure gifts and long-term support. It is a role that calls for someone bold in pursuing new opportunities, confident in communicating the complexity of homelessness, and motivated by the chance to turn insight and evidence into funding that makes a real difference. The role is also deeply collaborative and equitable in scope.
