Fundraising income has grown significantly over the last few years thanks to a talented staff team, and we have an ambitious strategy to grow this income even further.  

Working with agencies, including a digital mobilisation agency, The Senior Individual Giving Officer will be responsible for leading growing our individual donor and supporter base and delivering an excellent supporter experience.   

You’ll need to be a digital native with experience in building digital-focused approached to supporter acquisition and development.

The Role
Building relationships with the fire and rescue services in your area, you’ll become an integral part of the local fire services community. You’ll join a nation-wide team of inspiring and innovative fundraisers, working collaboratively to secure the much-needed income for the Charity. 

Helping to coordinate events, support fundraising initiatives and implement new ideas, you’ll support your people, stations, and offices to raise awareness of the Charity and achieve and exceed income targets, as well as working with local businesses and people to maximise our fundraising potential.

By generating the income, we need to realise our ambitions you will help us to be there for even more members of the fire and rescue community.

The Talent Set are delighted to be working with London's Air Ambulance Charity, supporting them to recruit a Deputy Head of Philanthropy (Trusts) maternity cover. This role will start at a key time in strategy development and long term planning, as they enter the final phase of their incredibly successful Up Against Time Appeal to replace their two helicopters.

As they enter the final phase of the appeal, having raised £11.5m of their £15m target (with a number of further pledges confirmed) this role will focus on developing the long term Trusts fundraising strategy. As Deputy Head of Philanthropy you will be tasked with considering the opportunities presented by the new 15 year organisational strategy, and contributing to the wider Philanthropy, Partnerships and Events team plans to ensure they have a strong footing as they look to the long term and next 15 years of London's Air Ambulance Charity. 

As Deputy Head of Philanthropy you will not only lead on strategy development but also build and develop the Trusts pipeline, leading and developing the Trusts and Prospect Research teams to improve internal processes and influence/respond to upcoming fundraising opportunities. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Trusts and Prospect Research teams and programmes through a year of maternity cover, ensuring both areas are in a strong position on the return of the substantive postholder. 
• Act as LAAC's Trust and Lead Gift (£500k+) fundraising expert, leading the Trusts and Prospect Research teams to be ambitious and consider the long term funding opportunities for the charity. 
• Lead the team through the transition from the Up Against Time Appeal to focus on the new 15 year organisational strategy and opportunities it presents to develop the pipeline for new projects.
• Take ownership of the Trusts, Foundations and Statutory pipeline, leading income generation from these sources with a personal focus on £100k+ opportunities, while informing the organisation's approach to restricted fundraising opportunities.
• Support the development of direct reports and wider Philanthropy, Partnerships and Events team. 

Person Specification:

• Strong sector knowledge and technical expertise of Trust fundraising, with experience of securing £100k+ support from trusts, foundations and/or statutory sources. 
• Demonstrable experience of developing and fundraising for restricted projects, monitoring income and expenditure budgets.
• Effective pipeline development skills and the ability to support a Prospect Research function to identify new opportunities.

About the role

The Senior Event Manager is a pivotal new position within the Advancement team. You will play a leading role in planning, executing, and overseeing events and experiences which will not only build momentum towards and launch UCL's next fundraising campaign in 2026, but will also maintain stakeholder engagement with the campaign during its duration.

Globally, you will build and deliver a programme of insider and teaser experiences, launch events, tours, reunions, and gatherings around campaign themes. Pratham is one of the largest and most respected education charities in India. We developed a model that can teach a child to read and do basic maths in as little as 30 days for £14. We also have preschool, vocational and women's education programmes.

About the role 

This is an exciting new post in the Communications Team at Glass Door. Reporting to the Head of Communications, this role will support the delivery of a new paid & organic digital marketing strategy, working closely & collaboratively with both the Comms & Fundraising Teams, as well as co-lead on the delivery of a new website.

What you will do as part of our team 

Marketing:  

• Work with all internal stakeholders to develop digital marketing campaigns across paid, earned and owned channels delivering against KPI’s for income, campaigning and brand awareness. 

• Co-manage delivery of multiple/ congruent campaigns, appeals & events to attract & engage new supporters - often working alongside key members of other teams including fundraising, operations and advocacy teams.

Monitor impact 

• Monitor the impact of paid & organic marketing campaigns to report on key KPI’s and metrics. Using tools within social media platforms and Google analytics. 

• Work closely & collaboratively with the Digital Comms Officer to ensure all conversions of paid promotion are tracked effectively & efficiently 

• Analyse marketing journeys for collaborative Fundraising deliverables – including campaigns & appeals and create monthly reports to share success of conversions 

• Lead on the moderation and tracking of website usage 

• Lead on the evaluation of social media and online reach, create monthly reports, and assist with evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns & appeals 

• Lead on the monitoring and track Google ads & analytics 

• Monitor and follow trends within digital and innovation to improve the organisation’s digital presence and activities 

Strategy 

• Support the creation & delivery of the digital audit of GD web & socials 

• Support the creation & delivery of the GD Communications Strategy – specifically the digital marketing strategy

Job Responsibilities

Trust and foundations

• Update the trusts and foundations database and managing the pipeline of activity
• Prepare tailored applications to trusts and foundations
• Manage reporting deadlines to funders
• Work closely with the artistic teams and Executive Director to shape proposals
• Create budgets working with the Executive Director, Finance Director, Artistic Directors and Project Leads 

Individual and Corporate Giving

• Create individual giving schemes, exploring the potential for new initiatives such as membership and legacy programmes
• Cultivate relationships with potential individuals and steward donors
• Research potential corporate supporters – both corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sponsorship
• Pitch to potential donors and supporters

Event Planning

• Create a programme of cultivation events which could:

- thank and nurture existing donors

- act as a precursor to giving

- introduce individuals and companies to potential campaigns

- begin new relationship development

Good practice, such as ethical fundraising

• Development of an ethical fundraising statement, in partnership with Executive and Board
• Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations
• Supporting team in being part of a fundraising culture

General

• Day to day management of fundraising budget, creating and monitoring income targets and delivering compelling company messaging around charitable giving on and offline. 

Ideal candidates will have skills and experience as shown in the candidate pack including:

• Evidence of alignment with charity’s vision, mission, values and commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Lived experience of disabling or marginalising barriers.
• Understanding and experience of performing arts landscape, key figures, organisations and funders.
• A curious, inclusive, flexible and collaborative working style with proven ability to work as part of a team across all levels.​.
• Clear communicator, team player, tolerant of other views.
• Fundraising track record, delivering against targets (in a similar sized arts or not-for-profit) and of securing significant donations at the five-figure level or more.
• Experience of monitoring and reporting against targets and managing budgets.
• Adept at supporting and structuring negotiations and at building relationships with stakeholders including Arts Council England.
• Thorough knowledge of the relevant fundraising legislation, regulations and financial issues and fundraising obligations of arts charities/Arts Council National Portfolio Organisations.
• Strong literacy, administrative, time management and organisational skills.
• Proactive approach to continuing professional development.
• Experience of dealing with public sector organisations at a senior level.
• Membership of relevant educational and/or professional bodies.

Micro Rainbow is looking for an Individual Giving Manager to create an individual giving and fundraising strategy for the organisation. In this newly created position, you will play a crucial role in nurturing relationships with individual supporters to make a difference to the lives of LGBTQI refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. As Individual Giving Manager you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and upgrade Micro Rainbow’s allies (individual donors), ensuring a steady and growing stream of funding and contributing to the sustainability of Micro Rainbow.

This role requires a candidate with a strong background in building relationships and identifying and developing new prospects. They will need experience in the development of strategic and creative giving programmes and to be excited at the prospect of pursuing new opportunities for the organisation by engaging with individual and major donors, and high net worth individuals.
