About the role
Fundraising plays an important role in the sustainability of The Brilliant Club, and this is only set to grow in our next strategy. The Fundraising Officer will be responsible for building relationships and creating excellent experiences for a portfolio of supporters and prospective supporters, to help us over raise over £1.4 million each year.
Supporters will be mainly Trusts & Foundations, but also some corporates and individuals. The role will include writing applications for funding, renewing existing partnerships and writing compelling funding reports. The Fundraising Officer will also be responsible for tracking the charity’s fundraising using our databases and CRM system, and for our ambassador programme.
The successful candidate will have experience working as part of a fundraising team, or have transferable skills from a similar external-facing role. They will have a proven ability to confidently build relationships with external stakeholders and have excellent written communication skills. Attention to detail, strong organisational skills and experience using a CRM system are also key qualities for this role.
While this role can be based at either our Leeds or London office, we expect some travel will be required (mainly to London) for events and to attend in-person meetings with colleagues and funders. The role will report into the Head of Fundraising.

Main Purpose of the Role

The Community and Corporate Fundraising Officer will develop and manage a strong pipeline of community and business supporters, combining excellent stewardship with proactive prospecting, networking and creative fundraising approaches.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Fundraising
- Identify, develop and secure corporate partnerships, including Charity of the Year opportunities, sponsorships, payroll giving, and in-kind support.
- Build relationships with local businesses, engaging them in volunteering and staff fundraising activities.
- Prepare compelling proposals, pitches and presentations to secure new partnerships and strengthen existing ones.
- Recruit and steward local businesses for the Unpaid Carers Hub, our web-based corporate partnerships offer.
Community Fundraising
- Pro-actively grow income from local community groups, schools, clubs and faith organisations across Surrey.
- Act as an ambassador for the charity at local events, deliver talks and presentations, inspiring people to support our work.
- Support and encourage DIY/community fundraisers, providing resources and guidance to maximise income.
Events
- Plan and deliver fundraising events from concept to completion, managing budgets, logistics and marketing timelines to ensure strong ROI.
- Recruit participants for charity-led and third-party events, including running challenges and bespoke campaigns such as I’m a Director, Get Me Out of Here!.
Communications and Stewardship
- Work with the Fundraising and Communications teams to create engaging fundraising materials, content for social media, newsletters, and supporter updates.
- Deliver excellent supporter care, ensuring donations are acknowledged promptly and relationships nurtured for long-term engagement.
Data, Reporting and Administration
- Maintain accurate records on Salesforce, producing reports and data analysis to monitor progress and inform decision-making.
- Track, evaluate and report on activity, identifying learning points to improve future performance.
Other Duties
- Represent and promote Crossroads Care Surrey at networking events, business forums, and in the wider community.
- Contribute to seasonal appeals and cross-team campaigns.

Person Specification
Essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in fundraising within the charity sector
- Proven track record of generating income for corporate partnerships and from community fundraising groups such as Rotary clubs.
- Strong relationship management skills, with experience of building and sustaining partnerships.

Cross-Income Stream Support
- Support the delivery of activity and appeals across major donor, corporate, legacy, and individual giving programmes.

The role
The trusts fundraising officer will report to the trusts dunfraising manager.
We are seeking an enthusiastic trusts fundraising officer to join our team to help deliver our ambitious plans for growth. This new role involves managing a warm portfolio of trusts and foundations and finding new prospective donors, submitting compelling applications and providing exceptional supporter experience.
You will be proactive and passionate about building strong relationships with charitable funders and have previous experience of securing gifts from trusts and foundations or institutional donors. Additionally, you will have experience of identifying and assessing new prospects and have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organisational abilities.

The team
Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5m through donations in 2023/24, and we are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.
We pride ourselves on being a supporter focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.
Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises two teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:
• Our philanthropy & campaigns team builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, corporate organisations and intermediaries, giving or facilitating donations of £10,000 or more to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on our forthcoming cancer campaign, and special events to support these activities.
• Our public fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges.
• Our database and supporter care colleagues underpin and support the entire department.

Background and purpose
We are the only UK-wide charity for everyone affected by a genetic and acquired bleeding disorder.
At the Haemophilia Society (THS) we want to empower everyone affected by a bleeding disorder to live life to the full, whatever your stage in life.
One in 2,000 men, women and children in the UK have a diagnosed bleeding disorder, which are a group of conditions, including haemophilia and von Willebrand disorder, that result when the blood cannot clot properly.
As many as a third of bleeding disorder diagnoses have no known family history and can be the result of a random gene mutation. This means a bleeding disorder diagnosis can come completely out of the blue.
THS brings together people with bleeding disorders and their families to share experiences and understand more about how to live well with a bleeding disorder. Together, we can all make a difference.

About the role
We’re incredibly lucky to have a generous and dedicated community who are always looking for new ways to support our work. Hertfordshire Mind Network deliver essential mental health support in Hertfordshire, providing a diverse range of services from our seven Wellbeing Centres and other venues across all ten districts of the county. The Role
FARA is a unique charity retail organisation with a network of 39 vibrant shops across 26 London communities. Our shops are the heart of our fundraising efforts, providing the majority of income to support our work with vulnerable children and families in Romania. Stylish and community-driven, FARA shops offer a distinctive reuse second-hand retail experience while making a real difference.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Director to lead our strategic communications and fundraising efforts, with a strong focus on growing the visibility and profitability of our charity shops.
This hands-on leadership role will shape and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, drive footfall and customer engagement across our retail estate, and build brand awareness for both our shops and charitable mission. You’ll work closely with shop teams, the central office and external partners to ensure our messaging is compelling, consistent and impactful. You’ll also lead the digital and fundraising strategy, helping us reach new audiences and deepen relationships with existing supporters. With a small but passionate team, this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact across the organisation.

We are seeking an experienced fundraiser who can work with us on a part time, freelance basis (Sept/Oct 2025 - January 2026) for a fee of £16Kto produce and undertake the following specialist services:
- Research and produce a bespoke 18-month Fundraising Plan for the Trust, with a particular focus on Museums, collections, community engagement, conservation and organisational resilience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our collaborative and high performing team, as we introduce the new role of Acquisition and Emergency Fundraising Officer. MSF UK has gone from strength to strength in the last few years andwe aim to continually improve and build on our success. Job Purpose
This role is vital for our Acquistion and Emergency Fundraising Team to operate effectively and efficiently. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a high performing fundraising team, for an International Humanitarian cause.
The role requires an organised and proactive person to assist and support the Acquisition and Emergency Fundraising team to increase income and recruit new supporters; both through one-off cash donations and regular giving.
