Role overview

World Physiotherapy is looking for a creative and detail-oriented communications officer with a background in graphic design to support our communications team in producing high-quality visual content. This role is ideal for someone early in their design career who is passionate about visual storytelling, global health, and nonprofit work. You’ll help bring our brand to life across digital platforms, print materials, and video content.

Key responsibilities

• Design graphics and layouts for digital platforms (social media, website, email campaigns)

The Fundraising Administrator is a key support role within Muslim Charity’s Community Engagement and Fundraising Team. You will help deliver smooth, effective fundraising operations by supporting events, campaigns, volunteer engagement and community activities. We are looking for someone with administrative experience, ideally gained within a charity, fundraising or community-focused environment. You will have strong organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and confidence in handling enquiries through multiple channels. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage positively with volunteers, supporters and community members are essential, along with good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, online forms, cloud tools and CRM/database systems. Experience supporting events and an understanding of safeguarding, data protection and health and safety are required, as well as flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends.

At Talent Central, over 150 young people take part in our recreational and competitive activities each week. Our inclusive approach extends to our Special Education Needs (SEN) team, ensuring young people with disabilities can also participate and thrive. Each year, we also welcome hundreds of athletes who train at our gym, including England’s National Cheerleading Team.

• Developing a clear fundraising framework and working with our trustees to shape our fundraising strategy

About the role

We are currently looking for an impassioned and self-driven individual to join our activities team to deliver exceptional service to our students, through engaging with the 350+ student groups, which deliver an incredible range of world-class opportunities to their members.

You will coordinate the creation of new student groups and manage funding opportunities as well as lead on the onboarding for new committee members and oversee administration for the minibus fleet. You will review, advise on, and approve society event/trip budgets and finance, in collaboration with the Activities (Events) Team. You will also support clubs and societies to effectively manage their finances, and  review Society sponsorship contracts to make sure they are in-line with College and Union policies, that directly benefit and enhance the student experience.

A significant part of the role will be to deliver our annual budgeting process in line with Imperial College Union's grant allocation and financial policy, as well as supporting student-led groups to plan budgets effectively.

The role sits within the Directorate of Membership Services and the post will have a cross-departmental focus to ensure our training package, volunteer support and all processes are equitable and effective for all student groups.

What you would be doing

The Activities Coordinator (Operations) is a critical role in delivering the Students’ Union’s strategic objective of fun and inclusive communities through support, development and empowerment of student-led groups. The role is responsible for supporting the:

• Delivery of training relating to financial processes
• Processing financial documentation that enables diverse activity for student groups
• Coordination of finances associated with club and society activity, annual and event budgeting in conjunction with colleagues in the finance team.

Alongside the Activities Manager, elected Officer Trustees, and the wider Activities Team, the role will support the delivering of a high-quality support service for student-led groups.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic Pavilion Manager with the skills and experience to help drive forward our mission of ensuring that the Pavilion serves as a vital resource for local communities and groups and to actively encourage participation from members and volunteers who share our passion for making a difference. The Trustee Board provides governance and strategic leadership for the charity. The Pavilion Manager will oversee the day-to-day running of the building and plan and deliver an engaging programme of community events and activities, as well as seeking to develop new activities. The role includes operational management, future planning and ensuring a sustainable income and membership base.

The Role

The team are looking for a Corporate Fundraising & Engagement Officer to play a key role in delivering their ambitious corporate strategy. Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will inspire and engage corporate supporters and prospects, driving income and awareness through creative campaigns, events, and relationship management.

This is a varied and dynamic role where no two days are the same. You'll work across a number of exciting fundraising campaigns, support corporate engagement activities, and represent SolarAid at key events.

What You'll Do

• Deliver fundraising campaigns such as Night Without Light and SolaRaise, and support initiatives like the Big Give.
• Engage corporate supporters and employees, motivating participation in fundraising and challenge events.
• Grow payroll giving and regular giving channels, building relationships with new partners.
• Represent SolarAid at events, sometimes independently, and ensure supporters feel valued and connected.
• Create engaging content for LinkedIn and blogs, and support the development of presentations and marketing materials.
• Research new prospects to grow our corporate pipeline and help secure future partnerships.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Confident and engaging, with experience delivering talks and presentations.
• Skilled at building relationships and interacting with people at events.
• Familiar with corporate partnerships and fundraising platforms.
• A creative thinker who enjoys finding new ways to inspire and fundraise.
• Motivated, proactive, and happy to travel for events when needed.
• Experience with Canva, payroll giving, and creating LinkedIn content would be a bonus.

About this Opportunity

As our High Value Executive, you will work closely with the High Value Relationships team across philanthropy, corporate and event fundraising. Approximate split is 45% philanthropy, 45% corporate and 10% events.

This role requires a candidate with strong relationship management, communication and organisation skills, who is able to work across a range of relationships and activities concurrently. You will also ideally have previous experience of managing projects, campaigns or other cross -team collaborative activities, and of using creative packages to produce engaging presentations and reports. 

Philanthropy:

You will assist the High Value Relationships Manager and the Head of High Value Relationships with research to create a prospect pipeline. For existing high-value supporters, you will ensure excellent stewardship by maintaining records and reporting and assisting with thanking, impact reports and proposals.

Corporate:

You will contribute to building long-term, sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with businesses. You will be responsible for assisting the High Value Relationship Manager in providing high-quality account management to Born Free’s growing portfolio of corporate partners and supporting the High Value Relationships Manager and Head of High Value Relationships in developing new business to increase our income and impact.

Events:

You will attend Born Free events (4-5 per year) where you will be confident in networking with high-value supporters and, in the lead up to the events, help, when needed, with sourcing prizes for raffles and auctions.

The successful candidate should ideally demonstrate the following attributes: 

• A minimum of one year in a relationship management and/or fundraising-related role
• Strong interpersonal and account management skills
• Strong timekeeping skills and highly organised, with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet concurrent deadlines
• Professional with strong presentation and communication skills, including use of design programs to create visually impressive pitches, proposals and reports
• A “can do”, flexible approach, comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced team
• Strong attention to detail, able to notice errors in written information
• Proficient with Microsoft computer packages and other digital technology, including CRM systems and online meeting platforms, and use of the internet for research purposes
• A team-minded approach - taking others on the journey with you and sharing knowledge/expertise for the benefit of the wider fundraising team and organisation

• Strong empathy and engagement with the work of Born Free, and the desire to drive it forward, bringing energy and determination to its mission.
