About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.

The Role

CoppaFeel! is looking for a Senior Healthcare Engagement Manager to oversee the production of high-quality health information and resources and lead on CoppaFeel!’s healthcare engagement work.

The Senior Healthcare Engagement Manager will sit within the CoppaFeel! Education Department and will work closely with the Head of Services and Health Information & Services Manager.

The Senior Healthcare Engagement Manager will be responsible for leading our work in the health engagement space. They will play a key role in supporting the strategic direction of this work and provide insight and sector knowledge to support decision making within the leadership team. This will involve building strong relationships with clinicians and healthcare stakeholders, enhancing CoppaFeel!’s role in the healthcare sector. 

The Senior Healthcare Engagement Manager will have oversight of the production of our health information and resource portfolio. This role ensures that all health resources are accessible, impactful, and trusted, meeting the highest standards, including those required by the Patient Information Forum Tick Accreditation.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will also be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities

Health Engagement

• Work closely with the Head of Services to set the strategy for CoppaFeel!’s work in the healthcare space. 
• Provide vision and direction to support departmental growth in healthcare engagement, ensuring alignment with overall organisational goals.
• Drive the development of new and existing strategic initiatives to engage healthcare professionals, ensuring messaging remains relevant, builds credibility and reflects developments in breast cancer in the healthcare space.
• Work closely with the Senior Policy & Influencing Manager to strengthen links between influencing and the delivery of health engagement initiatives.
• Work closely with the Senior Programmes Manager to support the development of regional engagement work and the development relationships across Cancer Alliances.
• Work collaboratively internally and externally to understand the needs of different healthcare audiences and work with teams across the organisation to develop engagement initiatives that increase knowledge and confidence of breast cancer in younger people.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key clinicians and expert stakeholders to enhance CoppaFeel!’s presence within the healthcare space.
• Lead on the design and delivery of training for healthcare professionals encouraging the integration of CoppaFeel!’s resources into their practice.
• Lead and manage CoppaFeel!’s Medical Advisory Group, ensuring it evolves in line with organisational needs.

Health Information

• Work with the Head of Services to set strategic direction in relation to resources, health information content and the production process.
• Provide expert advice and guidance at both strategic and operational levels on best practice approaches to delivering high quality health information and resources, with a focus on optimising reach and impact.
• Hold responsibility for the continued accurate and consistent development of the charity's Health Information provision.
• Oversee the creation and dissemination of high-quality health information, ensuring it is accessible, accurate, and meets accreditation standards required by the Patient Information Forum.
• Provide direction to the Health Information and Services Manager in development and delivery of a portfolio of materials, resources and reminder services.

Strategy & Management

• Support initiatives to ensure that CoppaFeel! Staff are knowledgeable and up to date with issues around breast cancer in younger people.
• Design and deliver internal Health Information team training across the organisation.
• Line manage the Health Information & Services Manager and the Health & Services Executive, offering guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
• Represent CoppaFeel! in media opportunities where appropriate to communicate key health messaging. 
• Work with the Impact & Evaluation manager to ensure robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks are in place to track the effectiveness and impact of our work.
• Collaborate with the Senior Engagement & Inclusion Manager to ensure that all health information and engagement strategies are inclusive, accessible, and representative of diverse communities.
• Manage departmental budgets ensuring efficient use of resources and supporting and informing phasing and re-forecasting. 
• Support the development and implementation of operational plans. Ensuring that projects are tightly managed and delivered on time and within budget .

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Essential

• Extensive experience leading the delivery of health engagement initiatives.
• Proven experience in the design and delivery of education and training for healthcare professionals.
• Awareness of clinical policy and practice changes influencing health care practice and delivery.
• Knowledge of Healthcare professional culture, NHS systems, primary care settings, and breast cancer services.
• Proven experience in developing and writing health information and applying health literacy best practices.
• Strong ability to understand medical information and how this can be translated into clear, accessible messaging.
• Experience managing health information production processes, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Experience managing multiple projects with the ability to oversee competing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience managing budgets.
• Experience in line management, with a focus on team development.
• Outstanding collaboration skills with both external and internal stakeholders and ability to manage relationships with confidence.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Understanding of EDI principles in service delivery.

Desirable

• Awareness of developments in the clinical research space and how this might influence healthcare practice.
• Strategic planning experience in the health or charity sector.
• Experience representing organisations in media or public communications, or a willingness to be trained.

Campaigns and Public Affairs Officer

The project:

We are in the process of expanding our service beyond our London footprint to Bedfordshire, Essex, Hampshire, Hertfordshire and Kent, along with Thames Valley, providing one-to-one advocacy and specialist work including workshops and group activities delivered by Advance in partnership with voluntary organisations.

This role plays a critical part in creating, coordinating and delivering the group offering for women accessing our Commissioned Rehabilitative Services (CRS), as well as providing administration support across the region.

In short you will:

• Be the first point of contact for clients coming to the Women’s Centre; offering a warm welcome and trauma informed approach
• Ensure the client waiting area is kept tidy with up-to-date information/leaflets and supplies of refreshments
• Create structured sessions based on CRS support pathways and/or advance’s EDI strategy
• Deliver, facilitate and coordinate direct group delivery and events at the Women’s Centre and regional venues
• Hold a small caseload of women that are accessing the Women’s Centre and/or in the community in line with service delivery need – to include completing initial assessments where required
• Build relationships with external organisations and partners to support the delivery of structured sessions at the Women’s Centre and to signpost women for wrap around support where appropriate
• Assist in researching additional resources and events for service users; both within the Centre and across the region
• Contribute to creating and lead on updating the local Services Directory with details of local organisations, key contacts and details of services on offer, including eligibility criteria
• Assist the Service Manager in managing the smooth running of the Women’s Centre in your region, including managing the group workshops timetable, arranging meetings and booking external venues for client groups or training events
• Support administration for the Hampshire Minerva team
• Assist the Service Manager with the quality assurance and collation of data and information as required, including for funder reports.

To be successful as the Women’s Centre Coordinator you will need the below experience and skills:

• You are an excellent relationship builder who can warmly work with women
• You will have experience of creating, delivering and facilitating engaging group workshops
• You will bring experience of supporting vulnerable communities and have good working knowledge about safeguarding and risk management and bring an eagerness to learn and develop new skills
• You will deliver an exceptional first point of contact service, and contribute to creating a safe space for women in service

The purpose of the Administration Assistant role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Bishop of the Edmonton Episcopal area on a part-time basis, 17.5 hours per week. This is to ensure efficient handling of communications, management of schedules, and maintenance of records. Additionally, the Administration Assistant plays a vital role in upholding confidentiality and assisting with safeguarding.

Administrative

• Handle mail, inquiries, telephone calls, emails, and all other incoming communications.
• Manage the diary and inbox of the bishop on a daily basis.
• Draft letters and documents as requested.
• Contributing to the maintenance of central databases (People System, CMS, Crockfords).
• Liaise with the Director of Ministry to ensure the effective administration of the Ordination of Priests and Deacons.
• Coordinate domestic and overseas travel for the line manager as required.

• Monitor the visa status of clergy who do not have British Citizenship or the Right to Remain, in conjunction with the HR Team at Diocesan House, as required.
• Monitor all clergy, licensed lay ministers and those with permission to officiate to ensure they are up-to-date with their DBS and Safeguarding Training.
• Manage the clergy 'blue files' in accordance with GDPR including ensuring blue files are available for statutory services when requested (e.g. police)
• Handling and being privy to highly sensitive and challenging information inclusive of blue files, historic, and ongoing safeguarding concerns.
• Identifying appropriate action in response to pastoral situations as they occur (e.g. Clergy person or other in crisis; deliverance queries; safeguarding concerns).

The Listening Place (TLP) is an award-winning charity providing face-to-face, compassionate and non-judgemental support for people who feel that life is no longer worth living.  Since opening our first site in Pimlico in 2016, we have grown to four sites and our service is delivered by over 850 active volunteers. 
 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, dedicated team and play a vital role in helping TLP to grow and support more people struggling with suicidal feelings. You will manage two key growth areas in fundraising: community and corporate. By crafting exciting partnership proposals and delivering high-quality events, you will help TLP build on its fundraising success in these areas.  You will use your relationship management skills to keep donors not just satisfied but motivated to support TLP.

Scope and purpose

The Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager will be the second most senior position in the fundraising team and will lead on the development of TLP’s community and corporate fundraising streams. Having seen significant growth over the past five years, from circa £50k per annum, to more than £400k, the post holder will oversee the continued development of these fundraising streams. The post holder will achieve a strong return on investment by proactively identifying new leads, effectively stewarding supporter relationships and providing an engaging and exciting ways for individuals to support The Listening Place. Duties and responsibilities

1. Deliver the continued growth of corporate and community fundraising at TLP (combined £475k target in 2026/27) in line with investment in this area to help ease the pressure on major donor and trust fundraising.
2. Generate new corporate and community fundraising leads by mapping TLP’s volunteer and supporter networks as well as exploring cold leads which align with TLP’s mission and vision.
3. Develop engaging, inspiring materials to help secure new corporate leads including presentations, brochures and video.
4. Represent TLP externally at corporate and community events, networking opportunities, and sector forums to raise awareness and build strategic partnerships.

The purpose of this role is to bring together two of FareShare South West’s (FSSW) most critical functions — community membership and food supply — to help transform our current impact, rescuing and sharing food for million more meals. The post holder will lead the development and implementation of both the membership and food strategies, ensuring our membership offer is responsive to community need, operational capacity and the changing landscape of surplus food.

1) Strategic Leadership & Governance

• Spot social media trends and industry best practice, advising on best social media content, tactics, and new technologies.
• Form relationships with key social media influencers to help grow our reach.

Email marketing

• Create and distribute monthly e-newsletters to Pancreatic Cancer Action segmented subscribers.
• Create and distribute email campaigns to segmented audiences.
• Develop email schedules for awareness and acquisition campaigns.
• Create and manage automated email sequences.
• Segment email lists and ensure personalised messaging for targeted audiences.
• Support ongoing CRM project work to ensure we maximise the data held and its ability to drive campaign and activity success.

Working as part of a team

• Be an integral part of the Marketing and Communications team, including a Marketing and Communications Executive, a PR and Communications Lead and the Head of Marketing and Communications.
• Support the Marketing and Communications team and help cover their areas when needed.
• Provide Digital Marketing expertise to the whole PCA team.

Other duties

• Be a brand ambassador, providing advice on the consistent use of Pancreatic Cancer Action’s brand.
• Travel across the UK to attend meetings, events and activities when needed.
• Deputise for the Head of Marketing and Communications when needed.
• Any other duty that the Head of Marketing and Communication considers appropriate.

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week

Reports to: Head of Marketing and Communications

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000, dependent on experience

Location: Home-based
