The Eikon Charity helps children and young people in Surrey to feel and be safe, heard, and supported. Through one-to-one support, group work, and programmes in schools, Eikon helps children build confidence, resilience, and the skills they will need to navigate life’s challenges.
This is a senior fundraising role within Eikon’s Trusts & Grants team, focused on generating significant voluntary income from charitable trusts, foundations, and local government funders. With an overall team target of £1m, this postholder will contribute around £250k per year through a mix of high-quality applications, strategic account management, and relationship building.
The role requires both strong bid writing skills (especially for complex, high-value and multi-year proposals) and excellent interpersonal skills to develop and steward relationships with funders. It offers the opportunity to take on more responsibility within the team, deputise for the Grants Lead when needed, and help shape Eikon’s fundraising approach.
As Senior Trust Fundraiser, you will:
- Raise circa £250k annually from a mix of trusts, foundations, and local government grant funders (restricted and unrestricted)
- Lead on developing a portfolio of high-value, multi-year funders, cultivating new prospects and strengthening existing relationships
- Research, write, and submit compelling, tailored proposals and reports
- Work collaboratively with the Grants Lead on strategic bids (e.g. The National Lottery Community Fund, Community Foundation for Surrey)
- Develop an approach for growing unrestricted income
- Actively network across Surrey to identify new leads and opportunities
- Provide excellent account management through regular reporting, funder meetings, and creative stewardship (e.g. site visits, events)
- Manage accurate pipeline and reporting on Donorfy CRM, supporting both team and board-level reporting
- Deputise for the Grants Lead at meetings where required
- Provide peer support to colleagues in the fundraising team
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proven track record in trusts and foundations fundraising (including complex, high-value proposals)

As Partnerships Officer, you will play a central role in managing high-quality relationships with Martingale’s growing network of partners, while also supporting the governance and operational functions of the organisation. Working closely with the CEO, senior leadership, and our existing Partnerships Officer, you will help ensure that funders, supporters, and mission-aligned organisations feel valued, engaged, and recognised for their contribution to Martingale’s success.
A key part of your role will be to strengthen relationships with funders and university partners, building long-term commitment to Martingale’s mission. You will manage relationships with multiple departments across our ten partner universities, coordinating internally to ensure these partnerships run smoothly. Alongside this, you will support the operation of Martingale’s key governance bodies, including the Advisory Board, Student Advisory Board, Academic Advisory Committee and Scholarship Selection Committee, ensuring timely communications, accurate records, and positive engagement with members. You will also lead on partnerships with aligned charities that connect our Scholars to earlier stages of the STEM pipeline.
You will be responsible for communications and reporting across our supporter network, ensuring partnerships are effective and mutually beneficial. We are looking for a strong communicator with experience in partnership management and external relations. You may have demonstrated this through cross-organisational projects, even if it was not your primary role. You will bring excellent organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and a strong alignment with Martingale’s mission. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on the delivery of the partner relations strategy, working with our 40+ partners to effectively build long-term successful relationships. In collaboration with the CEO, you will support new and existing funders, in-kind supporters, partner charities, and Ambassadors, ensuring they feel valued, informed and connected to Martingale’s mission.
- Strengthen and deepen relationships with partners through a structured and personalised programme of engagement, recognition, and reporting, including invitations to events throughout the academic year.
- Oversight of all university partnerships, including reporting, communications, and course confirmations. This will include working closely with all Martingale staff for effective management of key partnership contacts across development offices, multiple departments, and doctoral programmes.
- Oversee the smooth running of Martingale’s governance bodies, building on the existing governance framework to ensure continuity across the different groups.
- Liaise with the team to maintain accurate records of both financial and in-kind contributions.
- Lead on the development and delivery of the annual impact report, alongside bespoke reports for funders as appropriate.
- Accurate record keeping of partnership engagement on Martingale’s CRM.
- Build a range of case studies on Scholars, partner universities, funders, and other supporters to strengthen Martingale’s messaging to new funders.
- Work closely with the other Partnerships Officer to ensure fundraising campaign targets are met, providing relevant materials and support where needed.
- Support in the delivery of key Martingale events such as Solve for X and our annual Welcome Dinner

About the Role
As a Face-to-Face (F2F) Fundraising Area Manager, you'll lead and inspire a team of membership fundraisers based primarily in the West Midlands with coverage across Shropshire and Worcestershire and this wider vibrant area. This newly established role sits within the Talent and Learning team and reports into the Director, Talent and Learning. The Volunteer Manager role will be responsible for enhancing and expanding Provide's volunteering initiatives.
This includes significantly growing volunteer engagement, fostering strong relationships with staff, implementing strategic development plans and creating meaningful opportunities for volunteers and will play a crucial part in enriching the services we provide and enhancing the overall patient experience within our communities.
The main duties of the Volunteer Manager include:
- Developing a long-term vision for volunteer engagement across the organisation

- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies across the organisation
- Design and deliver induction, training and mentorship programs to maximise volunteer engagement
- Monitor volunteer attendance and maintain quality experiences

We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join our friendly and supportive team to lead on individual giving, in memory and lottery fundraising - income streams that collectively raise over £1.5m each year. These income streams are at the centre of our new fundraising strategy, and we hope to build on our strong local reputation and loyal supporter base to grow income over the next five years, through online and offline acquisition and retention campaigns.
The successful applicant for this role will have strong experience in individual giving, but equally important is a curious, can-do attitude and a willingness to try new things and learn from mistakes. The right person will thrive in a busy environment and enjoy creating and delivering plans, events and campaigns, being both strategic and hands-on.

The Role
As our Fundraising Manager, you will be the driving force behind developing, launching, and delivering a dynamic fundraising strategy to secure significant and sustainable support for the Waqf Fund.
Your role will combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery from engaging high-net-worth donors and institutional funders, to inspiring grassroots giving from communities who believe in the transformative power of education.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning – Develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with the Fund’s mission and values.
- Major Donor Engagement – Identify, cultivate, and steward high-value donors and partners, building long-term, trust-based relationships.
- Community Fundraising – Mobilise grassroots support across the UK Muslim community, creating campaigns that inspire giving at every level.
- Institutional Funding – Explore and secure grants, sponsorships, and partnerships from trusts, foundations, and corporate supporters.
- Events & Campaigns – Design and deliver fundraising events, both in-person and digital, that engage and inspire.
- Waqf Awareness – Champion and educate donors on the concept of Waqf as a sustainable, faith-driven model for impact.
- Impact Reporting – Work with the leadership team to demonstrate the difference donor support is making, through compelling storytelling and data.
About You
We’re looking for someone with a rare combination of heart and hustle. You will:
- Have a proven track record in fundraising, business development, or sales, ideally in the charity or education sector.
- Understand the values and motivations of Muslim donors, with sensitivity to cultural and faith contexts.
- Be a confident communicator, able to inspire at a boardroom table and from the mosque pulpit.
- Have experience in building a fundraising function from scratch (preferred but not essential).
- Be highly organised, results-driven, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

The Mersey Rivers Trust (MRT) is an environmental charity focussing on the protection and enhancement of rivers and waterbodies in the Mersey Catchment. It operates in an area covering Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire. We have an annual turnover of c£1m and employ 19 staff delivering up to 30 projects per year. The Trust works with partners, local communities, and volunteers to deliver a wide range of projects including river restoration, reduction of flood risk by Natural Flood Management techniques, river monitoring, volunteer events (eg river clean-ups/invasive species control and citizen science), community engagement and education events, farm advice/plans and biodiversity net gain. The Trust continues to evolve to meet the increasing challenges of protecting and enhancing rivers and waterbodies in the catchment.
We are seeking a Finance and Governance Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead the Trust’s finance, governance, and back-office functions. This is a pivotal role focused on ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective charity governance. While not involved in field-based project delivery, the Finance Manager plays a strategic role in supporting the organisation’s mission by enabling robust financial planning, reporting, and operational support. You will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Trustees, and project teams to ensure the Trust remains financially resilient and well-governed.
As the Finance and Governance Manager, you should possess expertise in financial control and reporting, allowing you to effectively handle delegated responsibilities. Your numerical skills and critical thinking abilities will enable you to proactively address challenges and streamline processes.
The role holder will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. The role will also include direct line management responsibilities of the Administration Officer.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the management of the back-office function and Charity governance of MRT.
- Act as the Company Secretary to ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements, as well as maintaining high standards of Charity governance.
- Work with the Chief Executive Officer to prepare and manage budgets, provide input to the Trust’s business plan and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the Trust as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
- Support the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures to ensure good governance.
- Act as a key liaison with the Board of Trustees, preparing and presenting financial and governance reports to inform oversight and decision-making.
- Lead on the development of internal controls and risk management strategies to safeguard the Trust’s assets and reputation.
- Oversee all payments, manage cash flow, income and claims.
- Support financial planning for grant funding applications to support delivery of our objectives.
- Line management of the Administration Officer.
- Renew the annual insurance policy ensuring adequate cover and value for money.
- Maintain, oversee, and update all project management reporting systems on time and to budget (including timesheets, expenses and monthly reports).
- Complete all necessary reports and keep suitable records in line with the funding requirements and document retention policy.
- Highlight any new risks and issues identified whilst carrying out duties, and work with the team to manage and resolve them.
- Fulfil duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.
- Any other reasonable duties as required by MRT.
The post holder will be home based with travel throughout the Mersey catchment. The applicant will need to live within or close to the Mersey catchment to facilitate regular travel to meetings. Remote working from other parts of the country cannot be considered for this role due to the need for regular face-to-face interactions.
Candidate profile
Essential
- A financial control and reporting background, qualification or qualified by experience.
- Experience of organisational governance, ideally with knowledge of UK General Accounting Practice and Charities regulations.
- Experience of financial and management reporting within a small to medium-sized organisation.
- Experience of liaising with accountants to prepare annual accounts and reports required by the Charity Commission.
- Experience of cash flow forecasting.
- Familiarity with Xero financial and project management software (or similar).
- A confident and clear communicator with the ability to communicate financial information in an appropriate manner for non-financial trustees and staff.
- Aptitude in problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively from home with strong communication skills and with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexibly across the working week when necessary.
- Ability to prioritise and plan activities to meet strict deadlines.
