Salary: £34,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00. Some flexibility maybe required depending on the needs of the service. 

About the role

As a Deputy Service Manager, you will support the Service Manager in driving excellence in service delivery, being a point of contact for staff and ensuring they are empowered, skilled, knowledgeable within their roles and create a supportive environment where both staff and residents can thrive. Our residents in this service have experienced long term street homelessness and have faced significant challenges including with their mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency, and struggled to sustain engagement with support services.They are here to make positive changes and receive the support they need to achieve greater independence and progress in their recovery.

In this role, as a Deputy Service Manager, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents. Some key responsibilities include:

• Line management and leadership, offering guidance and support throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Support the Service Manager in leading the day to day operational delivery of the service.
• Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed.
• Property and housing management, ensuring accommodation standards, timely maintenance and reporting.
• Financial Management, including petty cash and budget management.
• Contract management and Internal auditing, admin, and general other duties as required.
• Striving to ensure excellence and quality in our service delivery.

• Provide high quality support and line management to staff.

• Oversee and undertake regular audits of service delivery to ensure it meets contractual, legislative, and performance requirements.
• Provide emergency on call service when and where required in case of any emergencies and to ensure staffing levels are adequate.
• Support residents and participants to take control of their lives by creating a positive, enabling environment. Offer advice, information, and guidance.
• Being an active team member, take part in support sessions, and help run workshops or attend local events as needed.
• Financial Management including budgets, cost control, and general financial management.

The Programme and Impact Manager oversees the delivery and development of Kinetic Foundation’s partner-funded programmes and workshops, focusing on personal development activities, community programmes, and impact recording and reporting, ensuring robust data management and safeguarding compliance.This dynamic role requires a flexible, organised individual passionate about youth development and social mobility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Personal Development Activities 

• Manage, implement, and evaluate partner-funded programmes and workshops to enhance participants’ social-emotional skills, resilience, and employability. 

• Coordinate with external deliverers, funding partners and schools to schedule and deliver workshops for 16-19-year-olds. 

• Manage programme budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure cost-effective delivery in collaboration with partners. 

• Ensure workshops address barriers to success aligning with the Foundation’s impact framework. 

Community 

• Oversee HAF programmes, to support recruitment and awareness of the charity in KS3 and KS4. 

• Manage food deliveries, staffing, budget awareness etc. for HAF programmes as well as completing the end of delivery reports and evaluations required. 

• Communicate with participants, parents/carers, schools, and stakeholders to promote programme accessibility and engagement. 

• Maintain and update the CRM and master calendar to ensure all community programme events and opportunities are scheduled and communicated effectively. 

Impact Recording and Data Management 

• Oversee the collection, cleaning, and analysis of programme data to ensure robust, GDPR-compliant records of participation, outcomes, and impact. 

• Conduct pre- and post-intervention monitoring and exit route tracking to measure long-term impacts, such as transitions to employment, training, or university. 

• Develop quantitative and qualitative reports to communicate impact to funders, senior management, and trustees, using data visualisation techniques where possible. 

• Implement the Kinetic Impact Framework across all programmes to ensure consistent evaluation and continuous improvement. 

• Work alongside the COO to keep CRM up to date with participant numbers on the programme.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of youth unemployment, NEET status, and social mobility trends to inform programme design and reporting. 

Team Collaboration and Management 

• Manage the Youth Engagement Officer through weekly meetings, ensuring alignment with programme goals and participant needs. 

• Collaborate with the COO, marketing, and fundraising teams to align programme delivery with organisational objectives and funding requirements. 

• Support the wider team by attending events and opportunities linked to Kinetic Futures and community programmes, ensuring high attendance and engagement. 

Safeguarding – Kinetic Futures 

• Ensure all programmes, workshops, and events comply with the Foundation’s safeguarding policies, including DBS checks and training requirements. 

• Ensure risk assessments and all relevant trip packs are created for any external visits in good time so they can get signed off. 

• Work with the COO to support safeguarding procedures, coordinating to address concerns promptly. 

• Maintain a visible presence at schools and programme sites to promote a culture of safety and accountability. 

Person Specification  

Essential Skills and Experience 

• Passion for the Kinetic Foundation’s vision and mission, with an understanding of the challenges faced by disadvantaged young people in London. 

• Experience managing youth-focused programmes, ideally in education, employability, or sports settings. 

• Proven project management skills, with the ability to implement and evaluate programmes and manage budgets effectively. 

• Knowledge of working in school environments, particularly with KS3, KS4, or post-16 education settings.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the team as an Events Coordinator, reporting directly to the Events Manager. You will be responsible for the charity’s exciting and varied portfolio of events from challenges to Golf Days and Christmas Carol services, and will play a key role in delivering their ambitious plans.

Main duties will include:

• Delivering key running, challenge, and bespoke partnerships to achieve agreed income targets and KPIs within set budgets.
• Reviewing, evaluating and developing opportunities to successfully deliver and grow the events portfolio.
• Providing excellent stewardship to NWAA participants in events across the region.
• Retaining, growing and diversifying both new and existing NWAA supporters.

The Person

We are looking for someone who has experience in event management, ideally within fundraising. While charity experience would be advantageous, we are also keen to speak with people with an existing knowledge of fundraising and the drive to further their career within a fundraising role. 

You should possess exceptional communication skills, and be able to inspire participation and fundraising within diverse audiences. This role requires tenacity, creativity, team work and a proactive positive attitude. It is a busy role so you will need to be organised, able to prioritise and work under pressure to make the most of opportunities. Experience in working to financial targets and database management are also essential.

Please note that this role will involve attending events in the evenings and weekends. You will be required to have a full UK driving license, and access to your own vehicle.

Resurrection Trading (known as Resurrection Furniture) is a vibrant friendly charity shop in Alton High Street specialising in recycled second hand furniture and home goods. We need an efficient organiser to lead our team of volunteers, manage the office and bring a creative flair to display and sales.

About us
We opened in Alton in 2017 and in 2022 moved to larger premises at 21b High Street. The charity is linked to the Parish of the Resurrection. All profits from the shop go to good causes in Alton, especially to support youth related projects, people in need, heritage buildings and the community.

The shop is a busy, friendly place supported by a skilled team of repairers in the workshop and a lively band of drivers and lifters on the van. In total we have more than 50 volunteers and the charity is led by a team of Trustees. The shop is open 10 to 4pm Monday to Saturday.

Job Summary
The Manager’s role is typical for a retail high street shop except that there is no head office or back up staff - the manager and volunteers between them carry out all functions. These include:
Daily office administration - communications especially daily emails, Facebook messages and phone calls re furniture donations and sales, discussions with volunteers.
Coordination of volunteers including induction training, support and leadership,
Organising donations – selection, collection, pricing, display and delivery.
Shop organisation, administration and reporting to Trustees including publicity
 

Key Responsibilities:

Office Administration
• Deal promptly with shop communications via telephone, emails, Facebook and in person each day relating to donations, sales, and messages from volunteers
• Maintain data including personnel and customer information, finance and other record keeping.
• Manage the system of agreeing furniture donations, arranging collections from and deliveries to homes around Alton and booking slots on the van.

The General Manager of DPA will be responsible for supporting the development of DPA, driving the company forward, raising the profile, reach, and impact of the work, and ensuring the viability and effective operations of DPA.

Our General Manager is a key member of Different Planet Arts small staff team. Working closely with the Artistic Director and the Board of Trustees as part of the Senior Management Team, you will manage and organise operational support for Different Planet arts programme, ensuring we provide an excellent service to our participants, partners and audiences.

This role is suitable for someone building a career in operations. We are looking for someone who can maintain and provide the right systems and structures to enable others to lead and create our arts projects, and provide ongoing, efficient admin, managerial and fundraising support.

You will manage and be responsible for our systems and processes for financial administration, fundraising, governance procedures and processes, monitoring and keeping the Different Planet Arts office running day-to-day as an administrative hub. You will work closely with our treasurer (who is responsible for creating quarterly Management Accounts.)

Salary: £190 per day, 3 days a week for 48 weeks of the year

Contract: This is a rolling freelance position initially for 6 months to be extended subject to securing future funding

Background and purpose

We are the only UK-wide charity for everyone affected by a genetic and acquired bleeding disorder. 

At the Haemophilia Society (THS) we want to empower everyone affected by a bleeding disorder to live life to the full, whatever your stage in life.

One in 2,000 men, women and children in the UK have a diagnosed bleeding disorder, which are a group of conditions, including haemophilia and von Willebrand disorder, that result when the blood cannot clot properly. 

As many as a third of bleeding disorder diagnoses have no known family history and can be the result of a random gene mutation. This means a bleeding disorder diagnosis can come completely out of the blue.

THS brings together people with bleeding disorders and their families to share experiences and understand more about how to live well with a bleeding disorder. Together, we can all make a difference.

About the role

The Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager will play a central role in growing high-value income streams and building meaningful relationships with individuals, corporates, and grant-making bodies. Managing a small team and working closely with senior leaders and NHS stakeholders, you will develop and drive forward an ambitious programme of philanthropic fundraising to support the work of Sheffield Hospitals Charity. You will be joining us after the conclusion of the Master Cutler’s Challenge 2025, during which we have developed new relationships with corporates and individuals across the city. Youth Participation Officer

Fitzrovia Youth in Action is looking for an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic person for our Youth Participation Officer role. If you feel like this is you, we would love to hear from you!

The post holder will manage and develop youth-led community projects in which young people develop their leadership and employability skills through becoming actively involved in their community and participating in self-directed community action. The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of several youth-led community projects, primarily the organisation of youth-led community events, but might also include elements of other youth-led activities, such as youth action team, health champions and ambassadors. 

For example, typically, this would involve working with groups of around 10 young people in each cohort and support them to deliver their community event project over a 12-week period.  Examples of events include youth-led football tournaments, street parties and our community Christmas dinner. The post holder may also support drop-in sessions and other activities aimed at engaging young people and referring them onto the youth-led community action programme.

The Events Assistant supports members of the Events Team to deliver a large and varied programme of events, including: public events (debates, discussions, festivals, performances, lates), academic events (lectures, conferences, prizes & medals ceremonies), and our annual Summer Showcase, our yearly free festival of ideas.

You will work directly with the Events Producers and Events Managers to support events delivered at our historic home in London, at partner venues across the UK, and online.

The Events Team ensures that all events are delivered to a high standard, reflecting the Academy in a positive light and ensuring that we are open and inclusive. The successful applicant will work within our busy team to develop and implement strategies to secure income from trusts, foundations and individuals in support of Egg and Engagement projects; lead on the stewardship, identification and cultivation of trust and foundation relationships; and manage impact capture processes for Egg and Engagement activity.

Objectives:

Key Tasks and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Fundraising

• Develop and review Egg and Engagement fundraising strategies with Egg Director, Head of Engagement and Head of Development.
• Support the planning, budgeting and coordination of projects, in liaison with Egg Director, Head of Engagement and Head of Development, to realise fundraising strategy.
• Lead on the stewardship of existing funders, managing the reporting relationship.
• Identify and cultivate new trust and foundation relationships needed for Egg and Creative Learning projects. This could include bid writing or asset creation.
• Build strong cases for support, identifying all the information needed to create compelling proposals and reports for high and mid-value funders
• Write, budget and submit applications to trusts and foundations.
• Monthly reporting with Development Team and Egg Director, and Quarterly reporting to Head of Finance and Director.
• Delivering and Managing the Egg Development Plan KPIs related to the Development Team.
• Facilitate the writing of the next Egg Development Plan 2027-2032

Communications

• Lead on the planning, design and publication of annual Egg impact reports, in liaison with The Egg and the Development team.
