Events fundraising is a crucial part of our fundraising strategy, to improve outcomes from sepsis.

This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of both third party and UKST annual events that will support UK Sepsis Trust’s continued growth across the UK, helping us to reach and support more people who are affected by sepsis.

As UK Sepsis Trust’s Events Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our fundraising efforts by designing and delivering a varied portfolio of events. Working closely with our Head of Income Generation and the fundraising team, your primary responsibility will be to deliver excellent stewardship to fundraisers and help them to achieve their fundraising goals.

You will understand the importance of being organised, managing strict deadlines and putting together event budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Events delivery 

• Work with the fundraising team, to plan and execute fundraising events-both 3rd party and UKST own
• Manage mass participation fundraising initiatives
• Design and deliver virtual events, eg Facebook Challenges 
• Collaborate with colleagues to create and deliver new fundraising events
• Evaluate fundraising events and provide reports on all aspects of the event, analysing the efficacy and value of the event, what can/should be changed and whether the event should be repeated.
• Use the CRM to manage all event registrations and reports

Donor Stewardship

• Provide excellent stewardship to events participants , ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
• Organise event WhatsApp groups to encourage communication and shared gaols

Revenue Generation

• Set ambitious events fundraising targets and work with your colleagues to develop plans to achieve them.
• Use our CRM to track and report on fundraising progress, providing regular updates to colleagues.

Relationship Management

• Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with fundraisers, serving as the primary point of contact for event  fundraising-related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of all event registrations and donations on the CRM system.

Experience/ qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in event fundraising in the nonprofit sector or equivalent role.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to articulate the charity's mission and impact effectively.
• Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

This one year maternity leave cover role comes at an exciting time for AfriKids! With the recent launch of a new brand identity and with an ambitious new strategy taking shape, we are looking for a driven fundraiser to join our team to identify and steward AfriKids committed and passionate supporters in the UK. 

With outstanding relationship-building and stewardship skills, you’ll work collaboratively with the AfriKids team in northern Ghana to increase AfriKids’ visibility with donors and co-create impactful ask and appeals to secure income for our work.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, and part of a small but ambitious fundraising team, you will lead our relationships with many of AfriKids existing and prospective major donors, as well as have oversight of our small individual giving and community & events programmes.

Working pattern: Full-time (35 hours per week) - some out of hours work may be required for events.

Purpose:

The Events and Communications Officer will be responsible for supporting both membership events and communications activities.  The ECO will work with both the Communications Manager and the Membership and Events Manager to ensure membership data is up-to-date, to track membership engagement, to support the organising and delivery of our events, and to craft and broadcast digital content and media outputs.  This role requires a proactive, dynamic, and driven individual with excellent communication skills, an understanding of event management, confidence and experience using CRM databases and Excel, along with social media skills and an ability to spot new media opportunities. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, confident and adept with CRM systems, and enthusiastic about delivering excellent service to members whilst helping to promote the organisation's work across digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

Membership and Events Support

1. Working closely with the Membership and Events Manager to deliver  strategies for recruiting, retaining, and engaging members. 

2. Maintain and update the CRM system, ensuring accurate records and consistent data standards.

3. Support the processing of membership applications, renewals, and enquiries in a timely and professional manner. 

4. Support the organising and execution of member events, such as network and consortium meetings and other engagement activities as needed.

5. Support with the preparation of regular reports on membership numbers, trends and engagement activities. 

6. Work  closely with the Communications Manager and Membership and Events Manager to design, distribute, and collate the annual member survey.

7. Input membership invoices and payments into Xero or relevant systems.

Communications Support

1. Support a comprehensive media strategy set out by the Comms Manager to promote the organisation's mission and activities.

2. Manage planned activities on all social media platforms, including content creation and community engagement.

3. Proofread and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials.

4. Maintain and update the organisation's website with relevant news and content.

5. Managing the press inbox.

6. Monitor media coverage and help prepare reports on media performance.

7. Create engaging content for various platforms.

The postholder will also be expected to:

1. Actively support the delivery of the GuildHE strategy.

2. To contribute positively to a small, professional team focused on delivering excellence in their members’ interests.

IWA has established a dedicated event delivery entity, IWA Conferences Limited, to strengthen the quality, consistency, and operational standards of its events worldwide.

The role is responsible for the full operational delivery of IWA conferences, ensuring that all logistical, technical, and supplier elements are planned and executed to a high standard, on time and within budget. This important role supports the operational delivery of the charity’s busy events programme and supports the team and running the office.

The events programme is diverse - from drinks receptions and report launches to events at agricultural shows across the UK - and support on administration for the wider charity, including some communications activity. Through these events, we drive awareness of our work supporting family farms and rural communities. In doing so we also garner support from funders to tackle the issues facing the countryside, ensuring our work reaches a diverse audience to raise awareness.

Under the direction of the Head of External Affairs, and with support of the wider staff team, you will be responsible for coordinating and running all the charity’s events, including full administrative support, booking venues, the invitation process and guest lists, organisation of collateral (including marketing and promotional information), catering arrangements and researching and inviting speakers. You will be also ensuring effective follow-up to each event such as wider dissemination of event content, evaluation, and reporting.

Working on events will account for approximately 75% of the role. The remaining time will be spent working across the charity undertaking a variety of administrative tasks. This will include supporting the team with mailings, coordination of specific activities and some general office management. Whilst reporting to the Head of External Affairs, this role will work closely with several team members, particularly the Executive Support & Governance Manager, providing a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and experience of different aspects of the charity’s work.

What we are looking for

This is an important role, and we’d like you to have a sound working knowledge of end-to-end event management and office experience within a charity or other professional environment.  To be successful you will be required to demonstrate a confident attitude supported by good written and verbal communication skills.  You must be comfortable using Microsoft office suite, events management platforms and our CRM system (currently Salesforce). You will be able to manage your time and prioritise your workload.  An ability to engage with a wide range of people is also advantageous. What we're building

Every year, 3,000+ swimmers take on some of the UK's most iconic open water challenges, including the Dart10k, Bantham Swoosh and The Hurly Burly along with our growing series of 24-hour Wild Swim Relays. They swim so that disabled kids who need it most can get life-changing swimming lessons.

Last year, these swimmers raised over £1m. This year, we want to double it. And we need someone who can help us get there.

We're Level Water, a founder-led charity solving learn-to-swim for disabled children. We're not your typical charity. We own the events and run them like a business.  We move fast, test everything, and we're building something that doesn't exist anywhere else.

We've just brought in a new Fundraising Director, and this role is a cornerstone of the team we're building. If you want to help define how a modern charity does supporter care, this is your chance.

The opportunity

This isn't a "send some emails and answer some queries" role. This is a "build something and make it brilliant" role.

You'll own the entire experience for our 3,000 swimmers from the moment they sign up, through their training and fundraising journey, to the event itself (yes, you'll be there), and beyond. You'll design the journey, execute it, measure it, improve it, and scale it.

• Cross-sell and upsell: if someone's just completed their first challenge, how do we make them another offer that they can’t refuse?

We’re seeking an experienced charity leader to work with our partner charities, Lintel Trust in Scotland and Lifting Lives in England & Wales.  

As an experienced, motivated charity leader you will drive LHCPGs charitable aspirations through working with our partner charities, Lintel Trust in Scotland and Lifting Lives in England and Wales, so helping us deliver meaningful community benefit across the UK.  

In this central role, that will require some travel as you attend meetings in Edinburgh and Uxbridge offices, you will ensure governance, lead strategic development, build partnerships, and support and facilitate fundraising and operational activity, ensuring our charitable work continues to improve lives and places.  

What You’ll Do

• Lead governance, statutory compliance, and Trustee support across both Trusts.
• Work with Trustees to develop charity strategies, policies, and risk management frameworks.
• Support the grant-making and reporting processes, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Build strong partnerships and represent the Trusts at events and sector forums.
• Drive fundraising and income generation to expand charitable impact.

Events are a central part of student life at UCL – enabling students to find and form communities, experience new things, and make the most of life in London. Each year, the Students’ Union and its clubs and societies, deliver more than 6,000 events ranging from workshops to debates, exercise classes to socials. The Events Coordinator will support the delivery of a high quality programme of events, support teams across the Students’ Union to develop and deliver events, and work collaboratively to develop a culture of excellent event management.

Location: Hybrid – NASP have an office space at London's Southbank Centre which can be used by staff at any time. The role will be expected to work some of their regular time in the office with the remainder at home, depending on agreed hours. Purpose of This Role:

This is a key role within NASP’s Operations team, leading on financial processes and procedures across the organisation. The Finance Manager will develop and maintain accurate and consistent records, provide regular reporting to support budgeting & forecasting, support on the annual audit, and ensure regulatory compliance & best practice across all of NASP’s work.

The role will work closely with the CEO, Director of Operations, and the Operations Coordinator (Finance & HR); as well as our outsourced accounting service provider (Carpenter Box). In addition, the role will support colleagues and teams more widely by costing funding bids for income generation, grant reporting, project accounting, and providing general financial expertise and guidance.

The Finance Manager will also support in preparing projections and updates for NASP’s Board of Trustees, working with the CEO, DoO, and Chair of the Finance, Audit, Investment & Risk Subcommittee (FAIRCo); this will include deputising for the Director of Operations on finance-related matters where appropriate.

Person Specification:
Experience & Knowledge:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CIPFA) or equivalent
• Knowledge of the VCFSE sector and/or Social Prescribing
• Experience of working within an accounts/finance role within a small to medium charity or the not-for-profit sector
• Up-to-date knowledge of the Charity Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP)
• Good understanding of compliance and regulatory standards
• Experience supporting preparation of statutory accounts
• Experience supporting income generation (e.g. funding applications) (desirable)

Responsibilities:
Financial Management

• Review monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate coding and reporting, working with budget holders and reporting any adjustments to Carpenter Box
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting, including scenario planning and going concern forecasts
• Manage accounts receivable/payable; follow up on unpaid invoices/outstanding payments, ensuring these are escalated as necessary
• Regular review of processes and procedures, ensuring robustness and efficiency at all levels
• Support Carpenter Box with quarterly VAT and Gift Aid returns as necessary
• Support Carpenter Box with year end annual account preparation
• Oversee provision of appropriate accounting and finance software (Xero, Soldo, ApprovalMax)
• Deputise for Director of Operations where necessary, e.g. payroll or providing updates to NASP’s Board of Trustees

Governance, Compliance, & Board Support

• Provide oversight for financial processes across NASP, ensuring compliance with both NASP’s policy suite and any regulatory requirements
• Support on process for annual audit and NASP’s annual report, providing relevant documents to auditors, answering queries, ensuring timelines are met
• Advising the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) on any relevant updates to legislation or regulatory requirements
• Provide relevant reports and updates to NASP’s Board of Trustees and Finance Subcommittee, attending meetings where appropriate

Wider Organisational Support

• Work with Fundraising Consultant and colleagues as required to support on income generation, such as providing costings for bids; and mantaining accurate records on bids currently in progress and expected income
• Supporting on financial reporting for grants, such as providing I&E statements or other information as required
• Work with budget holders to set budgets, forecast, and monitor to ensure robust management and accurate reporting of overspend or underspend
• Provide general financial expertise & support to colleagues across the organisation

Reporting To: Director of Operations

Holborn Venues are looking for a full time Events Co-ordinator to join a small team running a wide-ranging events programme within a unique listed building in Central London. The role is varied and includes setting up events spaces, liaising with customers and creating social media content. Evening and weekend work required on a rota basis.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated major gifts fundraiser to join our small fundraising team to contribute to our ambitious goal to raise £20 million across 4 years – our Be the Spark campaign.

You will need to be a collaborative self-starter who wants to make an impact, working at all levels of the organisation to build and develop the relationships that will enable the Ri to succeed. You will be used to identifying, researching and managing a portfolio of major donors or high value clients and comfortable working with donors at the highest levels.

This role is responsible for driving major donor engagement and income by proactively identifying and cultivating new supporters aligned with our mission.

The postholder will work collaboratively across the Ri and fundraising team to build strong relationships, develop innovative and compelling proposals, and deliver exceptional account management and stewardship to existing donors. Key responsibilities include researching, developing and cultivating new prospects, building a strong major gifts pipeline, visiting donors and prospects, and advising colleagues on best practice for stewarding major donors throughout their relationship with the Ri.

We are seeking a Digital Communication & Events Coordinator to support Design for Good’s programmes and initiatives. You will bring energy, ownership, and initiative to strengthen existing work and deliver new activities, working closely with our Communications & PR lead, programme staff, and senior management to execute our digital communications and events strategy.

• Able to manage multiple priorities and support planning and coordination of digital and in-person events.
