The 2021 Census shows that around 36% of Camden’s households are now made up of private renters, and in the Haverstock and Primrose Hill wards, where this project will operate, it’s 27% and 35% respectively. This group of residents is often unaware of what services are out there to help them, where they are located, and how they access them.
This new role has been created to outreach and engage with private renters in the 2 wards specified and it will also include information production, dissemination and project management work. The worker will set up the project and is the key person in ensuring the smooth delivery of it in line with its stated aims and objectives.
Please note: You will need to be based in/around London for this role as it involves work within specific locations in the London Borough of Camden and is not suitable for home working or long distance travelling.

Project management:
1. To plan and deliver the project to all agreed deadlines, milestones and targets

1. To creatively engage with a wide variety of private renters (focussing particularly on the more vulnerable and socially isolated ones) in different locations and settings across the 2 wards to ensure they are aware of the range of local services available to them
Participating:
1. To promote and raise awareness of the project both online and through organising meetings, events and activities in the wards
2. To increase participation in the project both online and through organising meetings, events and activities in the wards
3. To publicise the project and private renters’ issues through the different media and other communication channels
Informing, empowering and supporting:
1. To identify the information, support and other needs of private renters to enable them to effectively engage with their landlord and/or agent and other organisations

Role overview:
A pivotal senior position within the Legacy and In Memory Fundraising team, this role works closely with the Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising to lead key fundraising initiatives and stewardship efforts. Responsibilities include overseeing recruitment, staff development, and performance management, as well as contributing to strategic planning and budget oversight. - Lead the planning and delivery of multi-channel Legacy and In Memory fundraising campaigns—across acquisition and stewardship—including DRTV, press, print, and digital; monitor performance and report progress against defined KPIs and milestones.
Person Specification: - Deep expertise in all areas of Legacy and In-Memory fundraising, underpinned by strong knowledge and hands-on experience within the sector
- Extensive track record of successfully managing multiple campaigns across various channels—meeting and exceeding revenue targets, crafting compelling copy, overseeing third-party suppliers, and using data insights effectively, all while ensuring full regulatory and compliance adherence
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, execution, and management of fundraising strategies

The Senior Organic Social Media Manager will play a leading role in UNICEF UK’s Organic Social team. You will support the Head of Organic Social Media to deliver an engaging social media strategy with our audience across our channels, supervising two and supporting the Head of Organic Social Media.

What is a Nutley Edge Activity Break?
Nutley Edge Activity Breaks are Outward’s supported holidays for adults with learning disabilities and autism. They are five days and four nights long and take place at our beautiful holiday site near Uckfield in East Sussex. Every break is themed and guests take part in a range of activities such as archery, art, music, yoga, and day trips to local towns, cities, and historical sites. Our breaks give guests the opportunity to get away for a holiday, meet new people, and explore the best of East Sussex.

What is the role of the Manager?
As manager, with the support of the deputy(s), you will organise varied and fun breaks for our guests. This includes carrying out assessments for new guests, supporting the team to deliver respite care, coaching the staff team, and embedding high standards in the service. We run 20 breaks a year and wish to grow this number, around about 10 of which are led by the Activity Team Manager on site in East Sussex. During activity breaks food and your own room is provided and an additional sleep in payment for each night supporting a break is paid.
We are a London based charity and welcome applicants for this role on the understanding they are able to support at least 10 breaks throughout a year (providing day and overnight support for 5 days/ 4 nights at a time in East Sussex), are able to travel to our North East London offices to attend meetings and training sessions, and travel to assessments and marketing events as required.

About the Role
As a Client Project Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of our vision for the future of St George the Martyr, including saving the church, classed as Heritage at Risk, and creating a welcoming, active and inclusive church that engages people traditionally under-served by heritage. - Leading and managing all aspects of the capital project on behalf of the client.
- Coordinating and procuring the multi-disciplinary project team and consultants.

- Acting as the key liaison with stakeholders, funders, and the Project Board.
- Overseeing design development, procurement, risk, and programme delivery.
You will need:
- Strong project management skills, ideally with a recognised qualification (e.g., APM, RICS, PRINCE2).

- Understanding of heritage and faith sectors, particularly Church of England contexts.

Key Responsibilities
Hospitality & Wellbeing Support:
- Greet all guests, acting as the first point of contact between the team and external stakeholders visiting 1 Wharf Cottage, namely our clients, volunteers and partners.
- Prepare and serve teas, coffees, and refreshments to clients, volunteers and visitors, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist the operations and psychology team with daily administrative tasks, including managing scheduling meetings and client assessments / reviews.
- Assist in the set-up and facilitation of nature-based mental health group activities, providing support to the group leaders and facilitators (where required).
- Support the team in ensuring a comfortable and supportive workspace.
Event Coordination:
- Assist in coordinating and executing group sessions, meetings, events and wellness workshops as required.Support logistics, venue setup, and participant coordination for monthly, quarterly and annual events.
- Provide on-the-ground assistance during events, activities and group sessions.
- Oversee the purchase of supplies, including food and drinks, for our monthly volunteer evening events.
- Provide evening and / or weekend support at our bi-annual social events for our client base, volunteers, and donors (dates are always arranged well in advance).
Operational & Administrative Support:
- Provide general support for the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a productive, efficient and well-functioning working environment. Assist the Operations team in scheduling and coordinating client assessment and review appointments, workshops, and mental health activities in nature.
- Act as a point of contact for staff and volunteers, addressing logistical and office needs.
- Manage office supplies, ensuring restocking and organisation.
- Liaise with vendors and maintenance services as needed.
- Provide other general administrative support to the psychology and operations team, including making online orders, liaising with printers, and preparing resources for training events.

The building has been reimagined into a Centre for the Imagination for Children and Young People and over the last 12 months we’ve hosted performances, workshops, live music and an actual live, immersive, pine tree forest…
Our Mission is to create playful, safe and inclusive spaces where children can explore their creativity and discover themselves and the world in imaginative ways. Through live performances, engaging experiences and hands-on activities, we provide families, schools and communities with creative ways to inspire and empower their children and young people. We’re here to celebrate the power of imagination and champion the importance of creativity in children’s lives.
We work closely with schools, both locally and throughout the South West, and are committed to ensuring we reach all children regardless of their means and possibilities.
Since the beginning of 2024 Emmanuel Hall has become the home of the St Thomas Library and of Zero Mile CIC, who are taking over the outside spaces and transforming them into community growing areas.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance
· Prepare financial management information including regular cash flow forecasts, reports, budgets, grant claims and management accounts for project managers, CEO, Board of Trustees and funders
· Ensure all statutory financial and other records, compliances and related inspections are met on time and records kept with regard to PAYE, NI, VAT, Companies House, Charities Commission, insurance, pension provision, audit requirements and annual reports
· Working closely with the CEO, prepare project and annual budgets, liaising with relevant staff
· Provide support and guidance to all budget holders for the effective management of budgets
· Maintain all financial systems and records for the organisation, including financial administration relating to general ledger, audit trails, Theatre Tax Relief, banking, petty cash management, staff expense claims and credit control
Building & Operations
· Ensure appropriate licensing and insurance is in place
· Organise the supply of utilities to Emmanuel Hall
· Manage delivery of IT tech support contract and others as required
· Management of contractors and suppliers e.g. cleaner, electrician, waste collection
· Management of supplies necessary for smooth running of the building e.g. hand towels, stationery, cleaning products
· Management of general maintenance
Health & Safety
· Support the CEO in creating and implementing the Health & Safety Policy
· Co-ordinate Health & Safety administration, including monitoring, reporting and training
· Ensure H&S information is communicated to all staff, project staff, users and visitors as appropriate
· Undertake training and responsibilities such as Deputy Safeguarding Officer, first aider etc as required
Governance
· Provide an effective Company Secretary function
· Organise Board and sub-committee meetings, co-ordinating, minuting and drafting reports as required
· Support the Board to ensure governance and Charity Commission requirements are met
Human Resources
· Provide effective and efficient human resource systems to support the delivery of the organisation’s objectives, including administering payroll, managing pension schemes and monitoring hours and absence etc
· Contribute to pay strategy working closely with the CEO
· Issue contracts for all project staff
· Keep up to date with all relevant employment legislation
· Responsible for personnel related paperwork, including project staff allowances, holiday pay, and preparing payslips

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
You'll have experience as a General Manger, though this may not be within the Arts Industry. You’ll be happy managing your own workload within a small and fast-paced team.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Salary £30,000 pro rata,
Fixed term 9 month contract, with the intention to extend funding dependent.

The post is for three days (24 hours) a week. However, sometimes we’ll need you to work flexibly to meet the needs of the programme of activity – including occasional evening and weekend work. Equally, we’re happy to discuss flexible ways of working to accommodate caring responsibilities etc.

Job Purpose
As BSR’s Membership Manager you will be responsible for overseeing BSR’s membership offer. You’ll work on plans to recruit members across a range of roles in the rheumatology specialty and engagement tactics to ensure members are retained year on year.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, Communications and Membership, you’ll drive forward a compelling value proposition for membership by refining our benefits package and developing tailored audience content. The Health Collective is one of our central campaigns. It has emerged out of the urgent need to close the health gap for women from marginalised communities and is made up of and led by grassroots organisations, representing women’s voices from every marginalised community in our society.
The Health Collective Community Manager will be responsible for managing the development, expansion, and sustainability of the Health Collective.
This role will focus on managing and growing the existing community of members, organising and facilitating regular meetings, content creation for the Health Collective, coordinating the development of a unique identity for the group, and establishing an online community forum.
The role will also involve coordinating training sessions, events, and communication between the Collective and external stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a growing community that empowers women and promotes health equality.

Community Engagement & Growth

- Work with the Head of Comms and Campaigns to build relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and organisations aligned with the collective’s mission.
