About the role and you
The Communications Coordinator will support colleagues across the team to deliver engaging, accessible and effective communications that help prevent child sexual abuse. - Confident using social media to reach different audiences and be able to design multimedia content that’s engaging and on-brand.
- A strong writer and editor, able to tailor content for different platforms and audiences - from short social posts to longer-form blogs and newsletters.
- Familiar with website content management systems (like WordPress) and ideally have some experience with paid digital campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, Meta).
- Organised and proactive, able to juggle multiple tasks and support colleagues across different projects and teams.

- A team player with a positive attitude, keen to learn and contribute to our organisation’s mission.

Main Purpose of Role:

We are looking for a talented leader with a proven track record in high value fundraising to lead our philanthropy team, which comprises trusts, major giving and special events. You will bring a strong track record of securing significant high-value gifts from trusts and major donors, along with deep knowledge of the current philanthropic landscape. With proven experience in budget planning, income forecasting and managing long-term pipelines, you will play a key role in delivering our ambitious fundraising targets. You will have a passion for cultivating relationships and going above and beyond to develop lasting meaningful relationships with supporters.
We operate a hybrid, flexible working style and regular weekly office attendance is encouraged. The role is contracted to our Peterborough office. You will also be required to regularly attend external meetings and events.

We are working with Dogs for Good who are seeking a new Campaigns Partner.
Dogs for Good is a registered charity dedicated to advancing the boundless possibilities of what a connection between people and dogs can enable – in making everyday life fuller, healthier, and happier for everyone involved.
The new Campaigns Partner will create simple, easy campaigns that anyone can join. Think local dog walks, coffee mornings, school talks, poster trails, library displays and quick volunteering. You will set up ways to connect using links, forms, and print. You’ll manage all this data in our system and share reports with the team. You will enjoy practical ideas, neat ways of working and tidy data.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in running public or community campaigns or events.
- Confidence with forms, spreadsheets and a database (D365 training provided)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels including volunteers and external partners.
- Comfortable around dogs and dog-friendly events.
A background in charity or education is desirable, basic reporting (Excel) would be an advantage.
Please note that this role will require occasional working unsociable hours (evenings and weekends) and a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel. A basic DBS check will be required.

The Citizen Engagement Officer at The Food Foundation will provide support for our citizen engagement work. They will work closely with the Citizen Engagement Manager, the Head of Development and Campaigns and the wider team to support our work with Young Food Ambassadors and Adult Food Ambassadors.
The Food Ambassador programme is a well-established volunteer programme, which aims to amplify the voices of people with lived or living experience of food insecurity in The Food Foundation’s work. You will be a key member of the Citizen Engagement team and will be involved in supporting all aspects of our work, from administration, to events, to recruitment of new ambassadors.
