What the job involves

Be part of shaping a vital new service supporting men affected by the sexual wellbeing challenges associated with prostate cancer and its treatment.

Working as part of our Specialist Nurse team, and alongside our new Sexual Wellbeing Service Manager, you’ll provide personalised, compassionate support to men and their partners, helping them navigate their sexual health and wellbeing including treatment side effects such as erectile dysfunction.

You’ll deliver this support across our helpline channels; phone, webchat, WhatsApp and email, offering expert, unbiased information that empowers people to make informed judgements. You’ll also work with men referred from NHS partners as part of our new Movember funded service, focusing on those who need timely, specialist intervention.

You’ll help shape how this service grows. That includes:

· supporting the development of targeted sexual wellbeing resources

· contributing clinical insight to service improvements and new projects

· helping to deliver online group support, patient classes and webinars

· working with colleagues across Prostate Cancer UK so that the latest clinical knowledge informs our wider activities, from education sessions for clinicians to our written health information

· representing the charity at external events where needed

· collecting and recording data to help us understand impact and continually improve

This role blends hands on support with the chance to influence a pioneering new approach to sexual wellbeing for men affected by prostate cancer. You’ll be part of a supportive, expert clinical team and will have ongoing opportunities to develop your practice.

What we want from you 

You’ll be a registered nurse with experience working at NHS Band 6 or equivalent, and you’ll bring a real passion for improving outcomes for men living with and beyond prostate cancer. You’ll already have experience supporting patients with sexual wellbeing needs, whether through erectile dysfunction clinics, sexual health services, oncology or urology pathways, and feel at ease talking openly and sensitively about issues like erectile dysfunction, intimacy and treatment related changes.

You’ll be an excellent communicator who can explain complex clinical information clearly, whether you’re on the phone, responding to a WhatsApp message or delivering a webinar. You’ll be comfortable working unsupervised, while also being a supportive, collaborative team member.

Goodman Masson are partnered with a high-impact organisation running complex international programming designed to empower the next generation of global leaders, to recruit for a Finance Operations Executive.

This role will serve as the operational backbone of the finance team, ensuring that supplier obligations are met accurately and on time, that customer invoicing is timely and correct, and that debtor balances are actively managed. By providing clear, proactive reporting and communication across internal teams and external stakeholders, this role directly supports the organisation's ability to plan, fund, and deliver its mission.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Own Accounts Receivable: Coordinate invoice raising with the Revenue Team, manage the debtor ledger, and liaise with global partners to secure payments.
• Own Accounts Payable: Manage the end-to-end processing of supplier invoices, on-board new vendors, and ensure our supplier obligations are met accurately and on time.
• Cash Flow Stewardship: Provide the critical data needed for effective cash flow management. 
• Use financial systems (including Xero) to maintain audit-ready records and produce management information.
• Prepare regular aged debtor and creditor reports, presenting clear summaries and flagging material risks to the CFO and senior leadership.
• Support month-end close processes, including reconciliations and balance sheet reviews.
• Work closely with the Revenue and Operations teams to ensure financial processes support wider organisational goals.
• Act as a professional point of contact for internal colleagues and external stakeholders, operating with a solutions-focused mindset.

Experience:

• Experience in a finance operations, transactional finance, or similar role.
• Familiarity with both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience using Xero is beneficial; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data.
• Experience working in an events, or international organisation is advantageous but not essential.

Salary range is £50,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience) + Discretionary Bonus.

Job Title: Heritage Advisor, Nature in Sacred Places (NiSP)

Duration: Fixed Term, 15 months (development phase)

The Churches Conservation Trust is a partner in the Nature in Sacred Places (NISP) National Lottery Heritage Fund project. This is a £5.2m project with an 18-month development phase followed by a four-year delivery phase (subject to securing further funding), in partnership with Natural England, the Church of England, Churches Conservation Trust and Caring for God’s Acre. NISP will build on principles established by the Bats in Churches Project, a previous project supported by the Heritage Fund which worked with faith groups, community volunteers, young people and professionals across three main strands, Broadening engagement, Supporting practical action and Building professional capacity.

Overall job purpose

As a member of the Nature in Sacred Places project team, the post-holder will be responsible for:

• Providing advice on the management, conservation, maintenance and repairs of historic buildings and of the structures within their curtilage (e.g. memorials, gravestones, walls and gates, path etc.);
• Provide advice on conservation and cleaning of built heritage and artefacts, helping to plan solutions to enable better management, greater access and enjoyment, providing specialist advice on making changes to, and the repair of, historic places of worship and obtaining necessary permissions.

Working with other project partners the post holder will develop a template for Conservation Management Plan of both historic and natural environments that is proportionate and appropriate for volunteers to adopt and deliver.
