THE ROLE

As the Corporate Fundraiser at Zoe’s Place Liverpool, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission by contributing to the delivery of our overall income generation strategy.

Your primary responsibilities will include researching and cultivating relationships with corporate supporters to drive sustainable income growth. Collaborating closely with the Senior Corporate Fundraiser, you will ensure that potential corporate partners share our mission and values, while providing ongoing communication and stewardship.

This is an exciting time to join our team as we embark on a Capital Appeal for a new, state-of-the-art Liverpool Hospice. You will be part of a dynamic environment full of enthusiasm and passion, both within our staff and the local community, as we work together to achieve our goals.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work remotely up to two days per week, with the remainder of your time spent at our Liverpool-based hospice in West Derby.

Zoe’s Place provides respite, palliative and end of life care to babies and children from birth to five years old with life limiting or life-threatening illnesses, with our team of specialist nurses offering round-the-clock care and support. This is a key new role in the Grants, Community and Corporate Partnerships Unit to help maximise corporate and community partnership opportunities and help scale up this growing income stream for future years.  This locally based role will support current partnerships (including golf clubs, churches, schools and local corporates) as well as scoping new opportunities across Surrey. Representing Eikon in person at events, meetings, exhibitions as well event coordination are important components of this the role. We are a diverse, highly experienced team who share a passion to support the wellbeing and mental health of young people across Surrey.

Responsibilities

1. Account Management

• Day to day/ support account management of select corporate and community partnerships. This will be agreed with their manager per partnership (who will retain leadership), but could include:
  • General stewardship including thanking and recording information on our CRM database (Donorfy) and shared drives.
  • Representing the unit at local level events and/ or delivering marketing materials to community partners.
  • Regular communication including calls, meetings and sharing reports, presentations and other updates
• Being key relationship holder for select local corporate partnerships and community groups such as primary schools, churches, supermarkets, amateur sports clubs
• Database admin including checking opportunity pipelines and reporting requirements 
• Supporting individuals from companies or community groups to fundraise for us

2. Income generation

• Mapping (desktop research) of corporate and community opportunities across Surrey to support unit’s business development plans
• Management of a pipeline of golf clubs, making timely approaches to help the unit secure new captains’ charities
• Support role on larger corporate and community partnership pitches. 

3. Event support

• Event management and/ or support for events across the unit. 
• Represent Eikon at local external events such as conferences, expos, fetes and fairs.
• Actively seeking prize donations for auctions, raffles and events
• Attending community led fundraising events such as quizzes or mufti days run by corporate & community organisations.

4. Marketing, Communications and relationships

• Support and liaise with the Marketing and Communications team to deliver relevant and effective content and materials as well as maximising social media opportunities for corporate and community groups
• Coordinate bespoke mass communications to corporate and community groups e.g. appeals, reports and updates.

5. Strategy

• Contribute to Development Team strategies, annual plans and budgets

6. Staff management

• Take part in regular supervision and team meetings.
• No line management requirement

7. Quality and standards

• Ensure all staff and volunteers understand and deliver within Eikon’s safeguarding policies and practices when taking part in fundraising activities.
• Ensure all activities follow the relevant Fundraising Codes of Practice and Eikon’s Ethical Fundraising Policy.
• Prepare relevant Partnership Agreements and Commercial Participator Agreements.
• Carry out risk assessments for all activities for which you are responsible.
• Carry out required due diligence on new corporate opportunities and ensure the company’s values do not conflict with the values or ethical policy of the charity.

8. Finance and resources.

• Operate within organisational approved budgets, policies and procedures.

9. Other responsibilities

• Keep abreast of sector trends and opportunities.

You will directly support our participants for the benefit of Railway Children, so that they are highly impressed by the customer experience they receive from us. We believe that every interaction with the Railway Children should be a positive one for our supporters and you will provide that the service our supporters deserve to enhance their relationship with Railway Children and encourage them to persuade others to support Railway Children too.

The role also plays a pivotal part in making Railway Children more data and insight driven in the way we fundraise and communicate with supporters. You will take a lead in mapping supporter journeys within the events programme as well as researching new corporate supporters and working on employee engagement.

Are you a fundraising manager with experience in mass participation events? We’re hiring for a Senior Fundraising Manager to lead our Owned Events and Products team. This is a 12-month maternity cover contract.
 
You’ll be leading the Owned Events & Products team in the development and delivery of bespoke event, campaigns and products including our flagship event RBC Race for the Kids. You’ll work across the wider Fundraising and Marcomms teams, and with external stakeholders to lead a team to deliver new and existing products, meet ambitious targets and provide an exceptional supporter experience.

Job Title: Partnership Development Manager

Salary: £34,500.

Contract Type: Contract for 18 months; there is a strong possibility that currently anticipated growth in the team may see this role become permanent during the contract term. BACKGROUND   

The latest research suggesting that the number of children and young people at risk of hunger has rocketed to three million means that one in five children don't have enough to eat.   

When a child is too hungry to learn, when they’re aching for something to eat, they can’t concentrate. They can’t absorb information. Big feelings and worries can be impossible to control. They fall behind in their studies.  

Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma.   

Magic Breakfast are ambitious to grow our impact in order to remove hunger as a barrier to learning for all children and young people in the UK. To do this, we need to continue to grow our fundraised income, of which new corporate income is a significant element.

JOB INFORMATION

We are seeking candidates who are after the next step in their fundraising journey. You will already have strong credentials and be ready to start your journey into Partnership Management which will include leading in delivering the new business plan and working closely with colleagues in the Partnership Development team and across the organisation to identify, create and secure new strategic, multi-year corporate partnerships

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Building a pipeline that reflects Magic Breakfast’s restricted and unrestricted funding needs, including Gift in Kind requirements, working with the Partnership Research Executive to research and identify prospects with potential.  
• Making use of multiple tactics to secure meetings with prospects including, for example, cold calling, emailing, running events, event networking and social selling on platforms like LinkedIn.
• Ensuring that risk-screening and due diligence processes have been completed in line with Magic Breakfast’s Ethical Fundraising and Due Diligence policies. 
• Understanding each prospect’s strategic interests through meetings, discussions and research and defining the mutual advantage in partnership. 
• Developing and delivering engaging, relevant and impactful pitches and written proposals to prospective partners.

Charity People are delighted to be working with a world-famous Children's Charity in Central London to recruit a Data Integration Officer to work on a 12-month contract.

The Charity uses Salesforce as its main CRM solution. It is used to manage the data of fundraisers, volunteers, events and donations. The Charity is in the process of implementing Boomi as it's middleware solution and are looking for a Data Integration Officer to play a key role in making the project a success.

Working within a small team, the ideal candidate for this position is someone who enjoys and excels in designing, developing, and implementing integration processes that connect different business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal performance. Your role will involve collaborating with the Database Officers and Business Analysts to understand business requirements along with supporting the Database Officers and QA Tester with testing within the Boomi platform.

As a Data Integration Officer, the postholder must also demonstrate an excellent technical skillset both in terms of their data manipulation and administration skills, and in their consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with a "can do" / problem solver approach and desire to deliver added value and improvements on an ongoing basis.

You will have experience of managing and importing bulk data along with experience of data integration into Salesforce using middleware solution. A great personality and team ethic are really important in this role as you will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver a legendary experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.

Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Berkshire is filled with some of our most committed supporters and there is so much opportunity to grow our supporter base across the region. Our Social Workers support families from across the counties and building relationships with this team is a must.

About the role

At Streatham Youth and Community Trust, our vision is that all children and young people living and going to school in Streatham reach their full potential, should have a safe and happy childhood and the foundations they need to thrive. 

We are looking for a committed and collaborative senior leader to help us improve and expand our service offer at our Streatham Vale Park and Wellfield Road sites.

The succesfull candidate will be a proactive and confident leader, with strong community engagement skills and a track record of delivering high quality after school and holiday provision for children and young people. In addition to our afterschool and holiday provision, you will also be responsible for our stay and play services and our sports-focussed youth work at Streatham Vale Park and our employability services at Wellfield Road.
