We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with good understanding and experience of individual giving. The main objective of this role is to drive income to the hospice from individuals, growing and retaining donors through direct mail cash appeals, regular giving, lottery, in-memory giving and legacy promotion.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Developing an individual giving strategy that builds on previous successes and learnings, which looks to significantly grow our contactable community over the next three years and maximise the lifetime value of our donors.
- Project managing a variety of fundraising campaigns and events
- Managing a programme of supporter direct mail appeals
- Developing In Memory giving income
- Managing and developing our lottery income and our relationship with Local Hospice Lottery
- Developing engaging supporter journeys for key audiences to encourage repeat giving
- Managing the development of the income and expenditure budget for our IG programme
- Managing our In-Memory Fundraising Officer
This role will be working with internal teams, external suppliers, and third-party providers to develop and test propositions. The post holder will work to acquire new donors and suppliers, segment our data, and maximise insight into our donors to support our growing individual giving stream. We have ambitious targets for this programme and lots of opportunities and an appetite to test and learn.

About the role
Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.
You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).
The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team. Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams.

Job purpose
· To be accountable for the delivery of a fundraising budget and help grow income to raise vital funds to support the work of the NSPCC.
· To support and steward existing volunteer networks, develop new relationships, and establish new fundraising groups in Yorkshire.

Main duties and responsibilities
· With the guidance of the Supporter Fundraising Manager, devise, agree, deliver and be accountable for the area income budget, managing expenditure appropriately - to enable the NSPCC to plan its activity and services to grow fundraising income.
· To be responsible and accountable for the development of relationships with all supporters and deliver consistent high-quality stewardship and engagement programmes to retain existing and help grow new volunteer groups inspiring them to raise funds
· To identify new opportunities, to recruit and onboard new volunteers and fundraising groups
· To work with fundraisers and staff in other departments to maximise relationships with NSPCC supporters.
· Attend and speak at events and meetings, representing NSPCC when required.
· To complete monthly reports and ensure compliance with policy and procedures including safeguarding and EDI, always adhering to NSPCC values and behaviours.

Role: Fundraising Database Manager

This is an exciting time for Haberdashers’ Girls’ School and Haberdashers’ Boys’ School. While they remain largely autonomous institutions with their own cultures and traditions, they are undertaking ambitious joint fundraising and alumni relations activities for the first time in their histories. This effort is led by a small but dynamic development & alumni relations team working across both schools.
Overview
The Fundraising Database Manager plays a key role within the team, with overall responsibility for the administration and oversight of the Raiser's Edge donor/alumni database, gift processing and alumni networking platforms across both schools. Responsibilities include maintaining the integrity of the data and ensuring it is up to date, optimising the database for fundraising appeals, generating reports and queries, providing professional support and training to users, processing all gifts and claiming Gift Aid. The database manager is also responsible for ensuring the department complies with all relevant data protection regulations
You are a motivated and highly organised self-starter, with a knack for methodical problem-solving, enthusiasm for the potential of data to drive effective fundraising and alumni relations, and a meticulous attention to detail. Beyond optimising and managing the database, you will also take the lead in implementing new financial and operational procedures which will make our fundraising and alumni relations work more efficient and effective, and which will be easy for less tech-minded team members to adopt and sustain.
You are comfortable extracting, interrogating and reporting on data to help inform strategy, always looking for ways to use and improve your skills and experience to make an impact. You will have a sophisticated understanding of how to export, import and (where warranted) merge multiple datasets. Finally, you never forget that behind the data are real people, and that ensuring the integrity, accuracy and protection of their data is vitally important, both for them and for the schools.
Location: Borehamwood, 15 miles northwest of central London. A flexible work schedule, including a mix of remote and on-site working, will be possible for the right candidate.

The job
- We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated fundraiser to join Chetham’s as Senior Development Manager to manage the development team in securing over £600k of income per annum across Chetham’s School of Music, Library and The Stoller Hall. Working alongside our communications department, the development team manage a variety of income streams including a successful trust and foundation portfolio, donations, growing major donor and patron programme. - The ideal candidate will have 5+ years fundraising experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and confidence working with a range of different stakeholders. Experience working in a similar arts organisation with a track record of securing five-figure gifts and a knowledge of database systems is highly desirable.
