Duties and key responsibilities
Financial Administration and Bookkeeping
- Responsibility for maintaining all financial records and data accurately and within agreed systems, to include:Maintaining up-to-date records in Sage 50.
- Importing bank receipts into Sage from Raiser’s Edge NXT.
- Processing purchase invoices, card transactions, and payments, ensuring correct coding to nominal and departmental ledgers.
- Maintaining payment records and reconciling grant payments within Sage 50 and grant management software.
- Generating sales invoices and carrying out credit control on a regular basis.
- Ensuring prompt payment of invoices and preparing payments with the bank for review by the Director of Finance & Resources.
- Maintaining the expense management system in line with policies and ensuring timely authorisation and reimbursement.

BACKGROUND
Ashiana started operating in 1989 and specialises in helping young women, aged 16 - 35 years, from South Asian, Middle Eastern & Iranian communities who are at risk of domestic violence and sexual violence.
OUR SERVICES
Ashiana runs three refuges with a total of 29 bed-spaces; specifically for women aged 16-35 fleeing forced marriage. This multi award winning project is the only service of its kind in the UK and is highly innovative in terms of addressing an area of significant need not met in other refuge provision. Within these refuges we designate a number of bedspaces for women with no recourse to public funds. We offer an advice and support service to women and girls who are experiencing VAWG (Violence against Women & Girls), enabling them to make informed decisions and exit abusive relationships. We provide counselling for women and girls affected by domestic violence and sexual violence. We also deliver an immigration service to women who have insecure immigration status with the aim to support them with access to specialist legal advice in order to resolve their immigration status. .. We deliver harmful practices training to professionals from the statutory and voluntary sector in addition to awareness raising workshops for women and girls in the community.
PRIMARY TASK
To be responsible, alongside the Management Committee, the Senior Management Team and other workers for the effective running of the Project, in accordance with Management Policy. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced manager to manage our part in “On track for inclusive train travel”, a research, scoping and piloting project, aiming to make rail travel more accessible and inclusive for disabled people. This project is being delivered alongside RNIB as lead partner, and funded by Motability Foundation, working with our members Community Rail Lancashire (CRL) and Gloucestershire & Oxfordshire CRP (GOCRP) to engage disabled people and shine a light on lived experience.
You will work closely with RNIB and their project manager, forming part of a small project team to ensure the success of this exciting project. You will support CRL & GOCRP in their coordination of local engagement with disabled people, helping to facilitate a pan-disability, empowering approach that draws on and champions expertise by experience. Ensuring excellent collaboration with railway partners is also key to this role, enabling us to co-create an effective, adaptable model for training, learning and culture change that can be deployed across the railways as they are reformed and renationalised.

Responsibilities
Project and local engagement coordination

Work closely with the RNIB project manager and as part of the project team to help ensure effective planning, coordination, management, communication and the overall success of this project, in line with its purpose and aims;

Ensure excellent coordination and communication with the two community rail partnerships, supporting their delivery of empowering, high-quality engagement, in line with project plans, requirements and objectives;

Ensure CRL and GOCRP are enabled to play their part effectively, using their expertise and local relationships to bring the experiences, ideas and voices of disabled people to the fore, while engaging railway staff constructively, to research, develop and test our model, and forge ongoing dialogue and understanding between the disabled community and railway;

Other information

Programme Coordinator

Job Purpose
The Head of Campaigns will work to ensure that we meet our UK campaign goals, currently for Marine Protected Areas, Sustainable Fisheries, and Offshore Oil and Gas.
Reporting to and advising the Executive Director, and working closely with the Leadership Team, you will oversee the planning, development and implementation of all delivery across our current campaigns. You will manage the Campaigns team (2 direct and 2 indirect reports) to ensure that we deliver impactful campaigns that ultimately achieve our goals.
Eligible candidates should be confident and proactive, with the ability to oversee multiple projects, and with excellent team management skills. They must have sector relevant campaigning experience, be able to support and advise during the annual strategic planning cycles, and be enthusiastic and positive in response to the changing demands of a small team. They must be passionate, and able to design and develop creative and bold campaign strategies alongside our small but experienced team.
The position will be hybrid, with 3 days per week (Tues-Thurs) based in Oceana’s UK offices in Newquay, Cornwall or Paddington, London. Responsibilities
- Lead all current campaigns, and take accountability for the quality, timeliness and success of all campaign activities and deliverables in support of our campaign goals.
- Oversee all projects across the campaigns team including (but not limited to) campaign actions and launches, public mobilisations, digital actions, NGO partnerships and coalitions, and potential legal challenges.

About the role

This role is part of the Partnership Development Team within the Mission & Movement Directorate. Reporting to the Head of Movement Development, you will be responsible for initiating and engaging with senior church leaders and wider networks to partner with CAP, primarily through our life-changing Debt Centre service.
As a Partnership Development Manager, you'll be a key driver of our mission. We're looking for a self-motivated, results-oriented, problem solving individual who can build and nurture relationships across diverse church networks and denominations.
You will be responsible for generating new partnership opportunities, inspiring church leaders and wider networks to engage with CAP's vision and partner with us. Partnership Development Manager Scope

Role:
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for expanding CAP's partnership network across your region alongside the Regional Director and Head of Movement Development, strategically prioritizing and developing relationships with church leaders and networks to establish new partnerships and services. You'll achieve this by collaborating with other teams, proactively networking with Christian organizations and denominational leaders (where appropriate), and representing CAP at various events, all with the goal of growing our influence and opening new services in every community.
- Proactive management of contacts as they progress through the pipeline, working alongside churches to identify if a CAP service supports their church vision, and if appropriate, manage them through the church journey and experience to open a new CAP service.
- To open new Debt Centre Partnerships as laid out in regional Development plans in target areas of deprivation and communities across the region.
- To open resilience services (Job Clubs, Life skills & Money Coaching) with new and existing church partnerships.
- Alongside Regional Director to identify key areas from across the region to host and organize a targeted number of CAP Spotlight Events per term. These events are designed to gather church leaders around a table to have conversations around opening a multi Church Debt Centre.
- To proactively build, manage and progress a self generated caseload of churches within your region, through cold calling, face to face meetings and all other appropriate forms of communication. This will include frequent travel across the region to meet with appropriate churches/ leaders.
- Refer potential new Debt Coaches or Churches that might want to work with an existing or expanding Church Partnership to the relevant Area Partnership Managers who are responsible for existing centre growth and sustainability.
- To work with Regional Leaders and Area Partnership Managers to deepen local knowledge and connections in order to deliver new church partnership opportunities.
- To collaborate across departments where needed to support and engage with Church Events, Talks, Conferences, Festivals, Church Leaders Meetings and other relevant events within your region, working on exhibition stands (when necessary) to help generate enquiries.
- To work with local church teams to ensure appropriate candidates are identified and have a full understanding of the role and responsibilities involved, ensuring CAP¿s selection team receive the appropriate information in a timely manner.

TPP are recruiting a part time Venue Sales Executive (community centre). This community hub provides a variety of activities and events for local residents of all ages. Amongst the already proven income generation streams are meeting room hire and a cookery school. You can expect to be working off a warm client list and developing new business.
Hours: part time 3 days a week
Contract length: 12 month contract

The role:
This Venue Sales Executive role is pivotal in maximising room hire and activity bookings, developing client relationships, and generating sustainable revenue for this central London charity.
As Venue Sales Executive, you will proactively identify opportunities, convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, and work with internal teams to ensure clients have a seamless, high-quality experience.
- Actively promote and sell conference room hire and activity packages to new and existing clients.
- Respond promptly to enquiries, prepare tailored proposals, and follow through to secure bookings.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, encouraging repeat bookings and referrals.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximise income.
- Coordinate post-event client interaction, including feedback collection, evaluation, and follow-up to maintain client loyalty.
- Monitor local competitor offerings and market trends to identify new income opportunities.
Essential criteria:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or income generation.
- Ideally, experience in hospitality, events, venue sales or similar.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, able to work independently.

You’ll play a key role in how we help churches, ministry organisations, and individuals discover and share the good news of Jesus through fresh, imaginative communication.
From digital campaigns and short films to print materials and event resources, you’ll create content that captures attention, builds confidence, and inspires people to explore faith. You’ll manage our online platforms, craft stories that connect across audiences, and experiment with new ways to help churches communicate the gospel with clarity and impact.
We’re looking for someone who combines strong writing and design instincts with a curiosity for what’s next - someone who’s eager to push creative boundaries while staying rooted in our mission. Key duties and responsibilities
Content Creation & Design
- Write, design, and produce compelling marketing, fundraising and supporter materials that reflect our mission and engage our audiences (eg, brochures, flyers, presentations, promotional materials and prayer letters).
- Create eye-catching and effective print and digital designs in-house, ensuring brand consistency across all materials.
Social media management
- Manage and populate our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn etc) with engaging, mission-aligned content.
- Plan and schedule content calendars, track performance and adjust strategies based on engagement metrics.
- Create visuals and copy that resonate with church leaders, Christian individuals, donors and broader audiences.
Fundraising support
- Write and distribute our monthly email newsletter to supporters, churches and ministry partners.
- Collaborate with other team members to gather relevant updates, stories and resources to share with supporters.
- Working with the Director of Fundraising write and design case for support materials and reports.
Event and conference support
- Design flyers, banners and supporting materials for conferences, exhibitions and training events.
- Coordinate with event organisers to ensure promotional needs are met in a timely and effective way.
- Support Director of Product Development and Director of Fundraising to staff and run in-house CEM promotional and supporter events.
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain project documentation and records
- Coordinate in-house and external meetings
- Handle administrative tasks as and when required
Key skills and experience
- Strong writing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and tone.
- Strong story-telling skills to help donors connect with our work and inspire meaningful action
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software (eg, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Davinci Resolve or similar).
- Experience managing social media accounts and creating content that drives engagement.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar email marketing platform.
- Good organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- Understanding of and alignment with the mission of Christianity Explored Ministries.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Background in communications or marketing
- Experience working in a ministry or Christian non-profit environment.

The Community Fundraising Team is an integral part of the Charity Fundraising Portfolio, by supporting a diverse range of inspiring supporter led fundraising activities. It is an exciting time to join the Team, as we plan for 25/26.
You will be one our 6 Regional Community Fundraisers, based across the UK. Covering Yorkshire, Northeast and Northwest of England, you will focus on our key audiences of Individuals, Supporter Groups, Community organisations, Regional Corporates & Volunteers. Through the provision of exceptional stewardship & fundraising support, you will engage the community, maximising opportunities to raise funds in the Region. You will make the most of your boundless energy & creativity to inspire our community and will be the regional driving force, ensuring our Supporter Groups continue to thrive, & our annual Community Fundraising Campaigns including, The Big Bake & Twilight Walk Own Walks are a success.

· Developing & implementing a Regional Community Fundraising Strategy 25/26.
· Achieving agreed regional fundraising KPIs & contributing to the overall delivery of annual fundraising budgets and targets.
· Recruiting, building and maintaining relationships with the Community across the Region. Aiming to increase their fundraising and encourage their ongoing participation in events and activities. This may be through community fundraising or using our fundraising products or initiatives.
· Recruiting, training and managing a network of regional volunteers who will support activity in the Region.
· Working collaboratively across the wider Charity Team to identify fundraising opportunities & maximise income in the region.
· Keeping our CRM fully up to date with information about our supporters and their activities. Using that data to understand what motivates our supporters in order to provide excellent stewardship.
