We are looking to recruit someone passionate about the outdoors and helping young people to become our CEO for corporate responsibility in a co-CEO role. Overview
The Green Team was founded in 1995 to support young people to succeed in achieving the Duke of Edinburgh award. Since then, the team has grown significantly and now offers nine programmes along with corporate volunteering days and holiday activities. From one member of staff and a few volunteers, we now have 10 staff and over 50 volunteers.
The growth of the team since 1995 has been primarily driven by our current CEO, Penny Radway. The size of the organisation and number of programmes run mean that we believe the time is right to introduce a dual CEO approach. Penny will focus on CEO responsibilities for delivering our programmes.
The role
To co-lead the charity promoting the mission, aims, values and objectives, be directly responsible for specific agreed areas of the charity’s corporate operations while overseeing and ensuring the success of these operations. To increase income generation, specifically unrestricted funds, enhance existing financial controls, and impact reporting. To also ensure there are clear and impactful communications, partnerships and marketing approaches for the development of the Green Team.
Work in partnership with the Co-CEO Programmes to advise the Trustees on the strategic direction of the organisation and to implement Board decisions. To ensure the sustainability of the Green Team, with a focus on increasing unrestricted funds to achieve longevity of the organisation.

- Would you like to lead the political and government engagement strategy for the largest membership body representing the NHS? This includes exploring new relationships across both central and local governments, as well as how we can deliver consultancy support to our members and partners?
- Do you have a high degree of political awareness, a deep interest in current affairs and strong networking skills?
- Can you demonstrate excellent project management skills, with the tenacity to drive forward projects from inception to completion?
We would love to hear from you if have:
- significant experience in public affairs, either in-house, for an agency, or having worked in government or Parliament
- strong experience of providing communications counsel to senior colleagues, including the ability to deliver this advice autonomously and at short notice
- the ability to consistently horizon scan, model best practice and learn from success and failure to drive continuous improvement
- experience in line management and developing team performance.
About the role
The Senior External Affairs Manager is responsible for overseeing the NHS Confederation’s strategy for how it engages with central government, parliamentarians, political parties and national stakeholders so that the organisation can effectively influence on behalf of its members.
This post will support the expansion of the organisation’s political and cross-Whitehall connections and its public affairs ambitions following the 2024 UK General Election. The NHS is a major priority for the new government and we will increasing our political engagement on behalf of our members – both nationally and regionally as we respond to the government’s devolution agenda.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to be influence changes that could be in place for a generation. As such, we are looking for someone with experience in steering Parliamentary discourse, and on engaging constructively with the Government.

Here at Brain Tumour Research, we are looking for a Policy and Public Affairs Officer to join a dynamic and influential campaigning team. You will play a pivotal role as a Policy and Publics Affairs Officer, working closely with the Head of Stakeholder Relations and the Policy and Public Affairs Manager. This will include supporting the development and implementation of effective public affairs and campaigning activities, at Westminster and across the devolved nations.
Policy and Public Affairs Officer
Location: Head Office, Milton Keynes. We offer a hybrid working model, where team members are expected to be in the office for a minimum of three days per week.
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum
Contract / Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Benefits: Holiday entitlement, 25 days per annum, excluding UK Public Holidays, death in service policy, access to an Employee Assistance Programme and option to join our healthcare scheme.

- A graduate qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable.

ROLE SUMMARY
ProVeg International is a growing network of currently eleven independent legal entities represented in twelve countries across four continents (Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Malaysia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, South Africa, Spain, UK, and US).
We are seeking an experienced and committed International Senior Legal Coordinator to oversee international legal aspects of ProVeg and coordinate our governance & legal structure, trademark portfolio, the international legal affairs and data protection topics. They will be a strategic thinker who can make the best decisions in line with our organisation’s vision, mission, and values. The goal is to guide ProVeg International as a whole towards compliance and efficiency, stability, growth and long-term success.

Hours: full-time (32-40h)
Salary: Depending on experience and location: £27,000 - £35,000 gross per year for 1 FTE
RESPONSIBILITIES
Governance & Legal Structure Coordination

Support our internationalisation efforts and the set-up / registration of new country entities
-
Conclude & maintain necessary agreements (collaboration agreements, service agreements, contracts, and data protection agreements) between ProVeg International Inc. (US) and new and existing ProVeg legal entities, and liaise with external lawyers for advice
Trademark Coordination

Manage, oversee and expand the trademark portfolio of ProVeg International Inc.

Coordinate infringements actions with a trademark law firm

Support the development of a trademark strategy

Liaise/ manage contact with a trademark law firm
International Legal Affairs Coordination
-
Check and arrange international and national contracts and agreements for ProVeg C.I.C (UK) and ProVeg International Inc. (US) and liaise with external lawyers for advice

Ensure organisational compliance and assess legal risks. Advise the Senior Leadership Team on mitigation

Support ProVeg countries (provide templates for contracts etc. or general advice where possible)
Data Protection Coordination
-
Act as internal data protection expert (GDPR etc.) and work with colleagues (e.g. Communications, Fundraising, Operations) on compliance and data protection implementation

Manage, update, maintain and ensure compliance with GDPR and other international Data Protection Regulations
-
Ensure and monitor compliance with Data Protection Regulation for ProVeg’s International Departments and support countries with compliance with national Data Protection laws

Raise awareness of data protection compliance among staff and support data protection training

Liaise with internal Data Protection Coordinator (Germany) and external Data Protection Officer
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field required; graduate degree preferred
-
Broad legal knowledge, particularly regarding data protection, contracts, governance, business law, and related regulations. Knowledge around employment law, Trademark, and other areas strongly preferred.

Proven experience with a minimum of two to three years of working in a legal support role, ideally in the non-profit sector

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Collaborative attitude, solution-focused, and supportive of international colleagues (particularly Country Directors, Heads and International Senior Leadership and Operations team)

IT skills, including Google Docs, with advanced proficiency in Google Sheets

Self-starter personality with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision

Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills preferred

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international, rapidly growing nonprofit work environment
