Executive Assistant to the CEO and Governance

Salary: £40,000 per annum, pro rata
Hours: 28 hours per week
Location: Hybrid, London-based with occasional travel to central London

We're seeking an organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support our CEO and help ensure effective governance across a national charity.

This is a varied role combining executive support, board administration, governance coordination, risk management and event planning. Working closely with senior leaders and trustees, you'll play a key role in helping the organisation achieve its mission and strategic goals.

What you'll do
  • Provide high-quality support to the CEO, including diary management, meeting coordination and briefings.
  • Coordinate Board, committee and leadership meetings, including agendas, papers and minutes.
  • Maintain governance records and support compliance requirements.
  • Manage the organisational risk register and support policy reviews.
  • Organise AGMs, away days and staff events.
  • Build strong relationships with trustees, colleagues and external stakeholders.
About you
You'll bring:
  • Significant executive or senior administrative support experience in a charity.
  • Experience supporting governance processes, boards or committees.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and related collaboration tools.
