Job Summary
Learning Support Assistants support PiP’s Development Workers to deliver a flexible programme of learning and development opportunities; ensuring that students can actively participate and engage in sessions, giving student’s maximum opportunity to learn and develop.
PiP’s programmes focus on four learning pathways:

Respite and Care Executives play a significant role in enabling our beneficiaries to continue to be independent for as long as possible and when/if they require formal care, they can support them during this time too. They work closely with the Advocacy Team and the Friendships and Connections team to ensure that all their needs are met.
We are looking for a candidate to cover Maternity Leave for 14 months. They will work alongside the current post holder and the other team members for 2 months to learn the role and take over existing cases. They will form part of the existing Respite, Care and Advocacy Team and work closely with other members of the team as well as other colleagues in the Operations Directorate (mainly Welfare).
An articulate communicator with IT skills suited to working in a paperless environment, you must be able to demonstrate an ability to relate to people of all ages as well as professionals such as external case working organisations, RAF stations, care providers, those who have lasting power of attorney (LPA). You must have an understanding of the social care system and the Mental Capacity Act.

The skills:
- Experience of holding responsibility for membership development, retention and assessment within an arts organisation or charity.
 - Experience of successful face-to-face fundraising and high-level donor focused development.
 - A demonstrable commitment to excellent donor stewardship at the highest level.
 - Experience of delivering fundraising targets, effective operational planning and financial tracking.
 - Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a variety of people at all levels, including a well-developed sense of tact and diplomacy.
 - Experience of writing copy and corresponding with donors demonstrating strong literacy skills and the ability to create a compelling case for support.
 - Experience of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and being a supportive team member.
 - Experience of strong people management skills, either through direct line management or comparable responsibilities.
 - Experience using a CRM system in a Development department (we use Tessitura).
 - Proven project management skills, gained through having developed and managed projects independently.
 - Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
 - Ability to analyse and present complex data and make recommendations for action/improvement.
 - Demonstrable knowledge of marketing theory and its application to the development of successful membership recruitment and retention campaigns.
 - Demonstrable knowledge of membership schemes across the arts sector, as well as general trends, techniques in fundraising and external relations.
 - Understanding of the principles of equality and diversity and the ability to apply and promote these in practice at work.

The Assistant Director of Income Generation is responsible for driving income and engagement across our fundraising portfolio, including Individual Giving, Legacy, Community, Corporate, Trusts and Major Donors. This role is part of the Together with Trussell programme, the goal of which is to build stronger connections with our supporters, partners and donors in order to increase funding, campaigning, and other forms of support for our work. As a member of an enabling programme, this role is focused on the successful delivery of the Together with Trussell programme outcomes, which underpin and enable the outcomes of our 5 external programmes – together contributing to the fulfilment of our long term vision of a UK without the need for food banks.
Role responsibilities
· Lead the team to deliver our income generation strategy, meeting income targets based on long term financial forecasts, by driving growth and retention across existing supporters through outstanding stewardship and innovative products and activities that uplift and convert support, as well as proactively developing new opportunities, compelling propositions and relationships.
· Ensure that income reporting is accurate, timely, and accessible, and that teams are equipped with and utilising supporter data and insight to drive decision making.
· Maximise the opportunities for integration across our fundraising and mobilisation activity by working closely with the Assistant Director of Audience Engagement, and driving engagement and collaboration across teams.
