This is an essential senior support post vital for the underpinning of Cathedral governance. It allows the Dean, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Finance Officer, Chapter and its statutory committees to develop and maintain an effective system of governance for the Cathedral with adherence to the highest standards of good governance practice. This will include meeting relevant regulatory and legislative requirements. The post holder will work with the Chief Officers to provide comprehensive and effective secretariat support for Chapter and its statutory committees.

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. Purpose of role
MAP is in a period of growth and rapid development, and as such, the incoming Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for the financial strategy and management of MAP and for the leadership of operational areas to help deliver the organisation’s mission and strategic goals. Strategy, vision and leadership
- Be accountable to the CEO and Board in the areas of finance, technology, risk and compliance, supply chain and logistics, and safety and security.

About the role
As our Temporary Finance Manager, you will be managing a finance assistant and will be part of our organisation’s Senior Leadership Team, helping to collaboratively shape and steer the charity as we work towards our 2022-2027 strategy. The Finance Manager is at the heart of Woman’s Trust; you will play an essential role and have oversight of not just the finance team - you will have direct exposure to CEO/Board Members and decision-making for the future of the organisation.

We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Operations Director to play a key role in shaping and supporting everything we do at Katherine Low Settlement. Sitting at the heart of our leadership team, this role is all about making sure our charity runs smoothly, sustainably, and with purpose — so we can keep making a difference in the lives of those who need us most.
Role Purpose
The Operations Director is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective running of all operational aspects of Katherine Low Settlement. This role oversees the day-to-day operational leadership of the charity, ensuring that its systems, processes, and teams are aligned with strategic objectives and compliant with relevant legislation.
This position will lead on programme delivery, financial management, human resources, IT infrastructure, risk and compliance, governance, and facilities management, ensuring that the organisation operates smoothly and sustainably. The post-holder will act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), embedding a strong safeguarding culture across the organisation, and also be responsible for policy development and culture and wellbeing.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Operations will work closely with the CEO, Board of Trustees, funders, partners, and staff to drive organisational effectiveness and ensure that the charity can continue delivering high-impact work.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Organisational Strategy
- Provide strategic leadership for all operational functions, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s mission and strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement efficient systems, processes, and policies to improve operational effectiveness.
- Work closely with the CEO and Board of Trustees to ensure that the charity is resilient, agile, and positioned for sustainable growth.
- Oversee cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring that operations support and enhance programme delivery.

Programme Delivery & Impact
- Ensure all programmes and services are effectively designed, resourced, and evaluated to achieve the best outcomes.
- Lead on the development of monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks to track programme impact and efficiency.
- Work with programme teams to ensure services are inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the needs of beneficiaries.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks that could affect programme delivery.
Financial & Resource Management
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and management in partnership with the Finance Team and CEO.
- Ensure financial policies, processes, and controls are in place and adhered to.
- Work with the fundraising team to ensure grant and contract funding is effectively managed and reported.
- Ensure long-term financial sustainability through effective resource allocation and cost efficiency.

Safeguarding & Risk Management - Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
- As the Designated Safeguarding Lead (a role delegated by the Chief Executive), ensure robust safeguarding policies, procedures, and practices are in place.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on safeguarding responsibilities and best practices.
- Oversee the Deputy Safeguarding Leads, acting as the main point of contact for safeguarding concerns from them, ensuring they are appropriately reported and addressed.
- Embed a strong safeguarding culture, ensuring that all programmes and services prioritise the safety and wellbeing of beneficiaries.
Human Resources, People Management & Wellbeing
- Lead the HR function, ensuring best practices in recruitment, retention, staff development, and performance management.

- Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally within the charity or non-profit sector.

We are looking for an experienced, confident and proactive fundraiser to join our income generation team to raise more grant income from charitable trusts and foundations primarily, along with corporates and other partners. These include local schools and community organisations. Maintaining great relationships with these and other supporters Is a key requirement of this role. A confident self-starter, you will have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Role Purpose
Working alongside our chief executive (who is an experienced fundraiser), an external larger bid writing resource and heads of programmes, the key objectives are to successfully generate income with grants valuing up to c.£10k in line with KLS fundraising plan and annual budget; develop and maintain relationships, and secure funding from, a portfolio of loyal and prospective supporters. Stewardship, reporting, pipeline and other database management tasks are other key features of the role.

Global Policy and Campaigns Planning and Performance Lead
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime, 35 hours per week
Location: London, UK, subject to the right to work (other locations can be considered)

About the Team:
This role reports directly to the Executive Director of WaterAid’s Global Policy and Campaigns (GPAC) team and is a member of GPAC’s Senior Management Team (SMT). GPAC sets WaterAid’s 10-year policy agenda and positions, supporting colleagues across all levels to advocate on this agenda and bring WaterAid together to advocate for change on a set of global priorities. We also directly influence decision-makers at global and regional levels on these priorities as well as bringing in external political insights into the organisation to increase our collective effectiveness.
About the Role:
As GPAC’s Planning and Performance Lead you will help us understand how the department is contributing towards WaterAid’s global strategy and maximise our global impact. The role will support GPAC’s work by leading the planning and performance assessment work, focussing on ensuring that the advocacy activity delivered across the department is aligned and working towards the same outcomes.
The role will work closely with the Directors in GPAC’s SMT and with members of the International Programmes Department (IPD) SMT to ensure that both departments’ plans are aligned. It will also engage with key Federation members involved in global policy, advocacy and campaigns work, with the WaterAid International Secretariat, and with the Global and UK performance, strategy and planning teams.
In this role, you will lead the design of the planning process for the department to deliver annual plans, ensuring alignment with similar processes in key Federation members and other departments, as well as being integrated with the wider organisation’s planning cycles.
You’ll also:
- Project manage the implementation of the planning process, working in close coordination with GPAC SMT directors as well as and as relevant with other WaterAid, Member and WaterAid International directors.
- Lead the process to deliver an M&E framework for GPAC (including new metrics as relevant), that balances the effort required with the need to drive data informed decisions and actions.
- Run the quarterly and annual reporting cycle, working with senior leaders in GPAC to deliver high quality data, run learning sessions to reflect on the data to enable data driven and effective decision making.
- Manage the regular collation of data across the department and shared to the wider organisation, including to the Executive and Board reporting processes
- Represent GPAC in wider WaterAid UK and global groups around performance and planning.

About this Role
The Marketing and Communications Officer will play a crucial role in enhancing and promoting IAPO's mission and initiatives through effective marketing and communication strategies. The Officer will be responsible for developing and delivering advocacy campaigns and engagement activities, creating compelling content, managing social media channels, and amplifying IAPO's online presence and visibility within the global health community. The role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and a passion for non-profit work. The post holder will report to IAPO's Chief Executive Officer and work closely with all staff members.
The post holder must be prepared to work collaboratively in a relatively small team.
