Team Coordinator
Youth Futures Foundation is the national What Works Centre for youth employment, with a specific focus on marginalised young people.
We find and generate high-quality evidence to better understand England’s’ youth unemployment and inactivity challenge, and most importantly to learn what solutions work to address this. We do this through bringing together the best evidence already in existence and build on this by conducting original research and testing and evaluating promising interventions to produce much needed new evidence where there are gaps.
We are looking for a dynamic Team Coordinator to provide administrative and business support to the Programmes and Grants Directorate. The successful candidate will help us to deliver our objectives by providing seamless support and delivery. They will:
Understand the needs of the teams, the context in which they operate, and focus on problem-solving and working with others to meet objectives.
Help the teams to work effectively, co-ordinate team activities, maintain relationships, alongside supporting operational excellence
Work flexibly as needs evolve to support teams, and occasionally, support cross-Directorate colleagues.
Use digital ways of working, technology and platforms to achieve goals.
This role will be based at our Birmingham office.
We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

- Assess and manage the grant portfolio for the UK Democracy Fund and JRSST-CT, in support of the strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:

Undertake research and mapping as required to ensure that projects and programmes respond to local and regional needs and is distinctive and complementary in the context of other providers.

Keep abreast of educational policy and practice at national and regional governmental level, ensuring that project development is aligned with current thinking and strategy.

We are recruiting a Head of Care Services to join our senior team and to play their part in the ongoing development of our activities, ensuring that we maintain high quality standards and a person-centred approach. The ideal applicant will have experience in ensuring the care and wellbeing of individuals, ideally with learning disabilities, autism and mental health, including the preparation of the range of paperwork and audits covering all aspects of care in a Day Centre setting,
The postholder will have knowledge of managing staff and supporting them to achieve positive outcomes, experience of interacting with Social Services and Health professionals, knowledge of Safeguarding procedures and managing the minimising of risk, strong I.T and communication skills and ability to contribute as part of a team and on their own initiative.

Our 60-acre site in Much Hadham includes a school, FE college, seven Ofsted-registered children’s homes, adult supported living, and a CQC-registered health agency. Together, we support around 180 children and young people, many with severe epilepsy, learning disabilities, autism and associated conditions, providing not just care, but opportunity, aspiration, and community.
We are entering an exciting new chapter of development and growth. To achieve our ambitions, we are now seeking a visionary Director of Children’s Services to join our Executive Team.
The Role
This is a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Chief Executive, with accountability for the strategic leadership and operational excellence of our children’s residential care and health services.
You will:
- Provide strategic leadership across seven Ofsted-registered children’s homes, ensuring they consistently deliver safe, high-quality and person-centred care.
- Lead our CQC-registered Health Agency (nursing, therapies, psychology and clinical services), driving integration and innovation to improve outcomes for children.
- Shape and deliver the long-term vision for children’s services, aligned with our organisational strategy and values.
- Ensure regulatory excellence, building strong, transparent relationships with Ofsted, CQC, commissioners and external partners.
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at Executive level, embedding a culture of vigilance, safety, and empowerment across all children’s services.
- Oversee the admissions pipeline, working closely with local authorities and families to ensure St Elizabeth’s continues to meet demand and future need.
- Drive service improvement and transformation, informed by best practice, evidence, and the voices of children, families and staff.
- Inspire, support and develop a multi-disciplinary workforce of over 200 colleagues, ensuring they are equipped, motivated and valued.
About You
You will bring a track record of senior leadership in children’s residential care, health, or social care services, with a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks and quality improvement. Specifically, you will have:
- Significant leadership experience in Ofsted-regulated children’s provision, with demonstrable impact on outcomes and quality.
- A deep understanding of safeguarding legislation and experience of acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead.
- The ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across care, health, and therapies, and to work in partnership with education colleagues.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, service design, and transformation, with evidence of successful innovation.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to inspire teams, build trust with families, and influence commissioners and regulators.
Desirable:
- Experience of CQC-regulated health or therapy services.
- Familiarity with commissioning, contracting, and funding models.
- A professional qualification in social care, health, education or related discipline.

We're looking for an efficient, friendly Volunteer Co-ordinator to join our award-winning charity. The team is based at our busy community centre from where it offers a range of services from community meals, art classes to gardening services and digital support. We support older and disabled people living in Fulham, London. Much of our work is delivered by volunteers, so this post is critical to our service delivery. You will recruit, induct, and coordinate volunteers; including leading our Good Neighbours Scheme and Befriending Scheme and supporting the recruitment for all other projects.

We are a small but growing UK-registered charity which undertakes projects that protect and restore wild landscapes, helping to provide a future for all life on earth. We use the skills and expertise of our multi-disciplinary team (spanning science, law, economics, technology and culture) to develop projects that protect and restore wild, natural landscapes.
Our ecological work spans two exciting fronts: restoring missing species through projects like The Missing Lynx, Pine Marten and White-Tailed Eagle reintroductions in Northern England; and securing the protection of ecological restoration sites as a Responsible Body for conservation covenants through which we aim to set the gold standard, supporting ambitious, mission-aligned projects such as Nattergal’s High Fen site.
About the role
We are seeking to hire a dynamic and passionate Senior Ecologist to join The Lifescape Project, to play an integral role in the restoration of charismatic species to the UK and in landscape scale habitat restoration.
As a Senior Ecologist, your work will cover two distinct areas which are broadly: BNG-associated site assessments; and practical planning and feasibility aspects of species reintroductions.
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience + benefits.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Contract: Fixed-term contract for 12 months initially.
Location: Remote working with site survey work and some UK and international travel.
