Reporting to: Service Manager
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Baca office, Cambridge, England. The role may require regular travel to locations where Baca’s services are delivered.
Salary: £31,200 per annum for full time hours. Equivalent to £18,720 per annum for 22.5 hours. The role also comes with an allowance of £2,301 (pro rata) for Cambridge cost of living.

About Baca: Baca is dedicated to supporting young refugees aged 16 to 18. Our mission is to empower these young individuals to become positive, independent contributors to society. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Creative Arts Therapist to join our team and lead the delivery of our arts therapy program.
Overall Purpose: To use creative therapy methods to help young people express their emotions, process their emotional wellbeing, and build inner resilience for a brighter future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead therapeutic interventions using creative modalities (art, dance, drama, or music) to enhance young people's resilience and emotional wellbeing.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and external partners to deliver comprehensive support.
- Support young people in achieving outcomes such as increased personal safety, improved physical and emotional wellbeing, and greater engagement in education, employment, and social activities.
- Assess emotional health needs and recommend improvements, while sensitively challenging young people to develop positive routines and habits.
- Deliver therapeutic sessions (both 1-to-1 and group) in a safe and secure environment.
- Contribute to team discussions and refer young people to other mental health professionals as needed.
- Enable young people to express themselves creatively and culturally, fostering confidence and resilience.
- Ensure all young people are safeguarded from harm and supported to self-protect.
- Maintain session notes, therapy spaces, and materials, and handle administrative tasks.
- Participate in meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Embrace and practice Baca's Vision, Mission, and Values in daily activities.
Personal Specification:
- A qualified art therapist registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) (or equivalent for your modality).
- Passionate about Baca's mission and values, and able to lead by example.

- Organised, creative, practical, and able to manage a varied workload.
- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.

As Finance and Administration Assistant, you will be a key member of the Finance function within a growing charity along with providing vital administrative support to the CEO in order to ensure The Saviour Trust can achieve it's mission.
Who we are:
The Saviour Trust was established in Pontefract in 2006 and is born out of a passionate belief that every person should have warmth, shelter and food.At The Saviour Trust we believe that before support can begin, an individual's basic needs must be met - warmth, food and a safe space to sleep, which is why we currenly provide over 350 units of supported accomodation across West Yorkshire. Key Tasks:
- Accurately manage petty cash and balance it to ensure clear record keeping
- Accurately input financial information onto Sage in order to enable clear financial reporting

We’re looking for a youth worker to lead our weekly educational youth club programme in Bournemouth. Delivered in partnership with International Care Network (ICN), sessions take place on a weekly basis between 4.30-7.30pm throughout the year including school holidays.
The role is six hours a week (three hours on a Wednesday at Club Class plus three hours a week for planning/prep/meetings).
Main purpose of the role:
The youth worker will plan, deliver and facilitate educational and cultural activities to separated children (16-21 years old) in the context of an interactive youth club held weekly in partnership with the ICN in Bournemouth. Although you will prepare and deliver the materials, you will be supported by our youth support worker and ICN support worker during the actual Club Class session. Plus one support worker from ICN and one staff member from Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole local authority (BCP LA) – usually a personal advisor or social worker.
Main duties:
- Research, plan and devise educational activities/classes for the weekly sessions based on our Club Class framework
- Deliver and facilitate the weekly Club Class with the support of our youth support worker and the ICN support worker.
- Source outside facilitators on occasion (on a voluntary basis) to deliver specialist sessions
- Ensure sessions are young people-led and participants have an opportunity to input into future Club Class sessions using our participatory feedback mechanism
- Provide emotional support and guidance to the group (please note this is not a casework role), referring individual young people to their case worker where one-to-one support is required.
- Ensure the highest level of safeguarding for the young people attending with adherence to The Separated Child Foundation’s safeguarding policy
- Work with the Programme Manager to evaluate Club Class with participants to ensure the sessions are appropriate and relevant to their needs, and propose amendments and improvements to the Club Class framework as required
- Gather feedback (anonymised where necessary) from participants to populate social media, support funding bids and include in programme management reporting
- Provide line manager with regular feedback on the sessions and future plans during routine catch up calls and Programme Manager in-person visits
Person Specification:
- Experience in planning and delivering youth-led interactive group workshops using varied techniques and approaches
- Experience of working with or supporting young people, preferably separated asylum seeking and refugee children and/or young people for whom English is not first language
- Qualification in Youth Work or comparable subject
- Awareness of the needs of young people, preferably separated asylum seeking and refugee children

Our day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. The Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective professional internal and external communications strategies for the Diocese to support the Diocesan Bishop and senior leaders as part of the Mission of the Church. You will lead and manage a small, dedicated communications team of two direct reports: Creative and Digital Communications Officer and Webmaster.
As Communications Manager you will oversee the Diocese’s media relations including proactive engagement with journalists and responding to press inquiries. Produce high-quality written and visual content, including newsletters, social media posts, and annual reports. Manage and enhance the Diocese’s digital presence, including website and intranet development. Support key diocesan campaigns and initiatives to increase engagement and giving. Represent the Diocese at events, with occasional travel across the Diocese including the Channel Islands. Some out-of-hours availability is required and a full clean driving licence and access to own transport. This role ensures consistency and professionalism in all communications, to promote the Diocesan vision of bringing people closer to Jesus Christ through his Church.

1. Main Duties
Communications Strategy
- Design, develop, and implement the Diocese’s Communications Strategy which is fully aligned with the Diocese ten-year Mission plan.
- Research and identify appropriate methods and channels including secular and religious media to raise the Diocese’s profile and in turn that of the Catholic church.
- Collaborate with partners, such as the Bishops Conference of England and Wales to help shape and influence public policy aligned with Diocesan objectives.
External Communications
- Proactively identify opportunities for promoting positive news about the work of the diocese and enabling the Diocesan Bishop to contribute to thought leadership and public debate on relevant policies.
- Drafting material appropriate for publication.
- Arranging video to support key diocesan publications such as Bishops Pastoral Letters.
- Build and develop the Diocese’s links with press and media to support strategic objectives.
- Act as the point of contact for sensitive news, advising the Bishop and senior staff about media handling.
- Act as the Diocesan spokesperson when required, providing a positive and supportive representation of the Catholic Church and the Diocese.
- Develop and implement a Crisis Communications Plan, crafting media statements and briefing senior colleagues on media lines to take.
- Organise media training for senior clergy and lay leaders as required.

Internal Communications
- Work closely with HR to Oversee and improve the management of internal communications to foster transparency and engagement.
- Take overall responsibility for organising monthly team briefings for the department of Administration and for other ad hoc events involving parish employee’s clergy and volunteers.
- Manage communication channels such as the intranet, regular newsletters, and staff briefings to ensure alignment with Diocesan values and goals.
- Work with Bishops office on key publications such as the annual directory.
Website and Digital Presence
- Oversee the ongoing improvements in the functionality of the Diocesan website, ensuring it is engaging, user-friendly, up to date and supports the Bishop’s vision.
- Introduce interactive and video content to enhance user experience.
- Support parishes in developing and maintaining their local websites.
Support to Key Departments
- Collaborate with key departments to design and implement tailored communication strategies. For example, Safeguarding.
- Provide tools, templates, and guidance to ensure consistent and effective messaging across departments.
- Act as ‘brand champion’, developing, overseeing and implementing brand guidelines to professionalise and standardise all external communications output, whether it emanates from within or outside the Communications department.
- Build and maintain strong positive working relationships across the DSAS and wider Diocese to support the successful delivery of the communications strategy'
Meeting Attendance and Reporting
