About the job

Salary: Circa £38,000 per year

Hours: 37 hours per week

Coastline are committed to enhancing the lives of our customers and communities. As a Community Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in achieving this mission.

As the Community Engagement Manager, you will lead the Community Investment Team, ensuring that our customers remain at the heart of everything we do. The Community Engagement Manager plays a crucial role in meeting or exceeding the requirements of the Consumer Standards. You will lead the way to engage with our customers, encourage innovation and help to continuously improve our services, to provide a range of wider services beyond traditional landlord responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is innovative and solutions focused, seeking and implementing opportunities to improve;
  • Can make things possible and inspire success;
  • Has significant skills and experience of partnership working with a proven track record of negotiating agreements, building effective partnerships and successful community projects;
  • Has significant understanding of customer engagement practices and law relating to tenant empowerment in social housing;
  • Has detailed knowledge of tools and techniques for dealing with challenging behaviours;
  • Possesses good analytical skills demonstrable experience of utilising data and feedback to improve service delivery ;
  • Can attend evening and weekend events.

A full driving licence and a satisfactory basic DBS check are essential for this role.
