We are looking for an effective, organised and socially minded person to join our services team as a Service Coordinator. You will be at the heart of our business, directly coordinating and delivering our service to guardians and to property owners. Supported by experienced managers and, making use of a field team and other operational support, you will deliver work across our diverse portfolio.

The fundamentals of this role

Manage guardians

• Ensure guardians meet our criteria and ready for life as a guardian.
• Manage the guardian sign-up and move-in process.
• Be the main point of contact for guardians.
• Liaise with guardians to resolve any issues or concerns, e.g. poor conduct, licence breaches or vulnerability concerns.
• Work closely with guardians when they need to move on from Dot Dot Dot properties.
• Draw on data to gain insight into guardians and to guide support or interventions as required.
• Coordinate or assist with events, partnerships and other activities to promote volunteering and/or community engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure repairs are properly reported and dealt with.
• Collaborate with colleagues to fill voids quickly with suitable guardians.

Manage properties

• Collaborate with colleagues ensure that properties are monitored, set up and managed in line with internal standards, client requirements and any relevant licensing or regulatory standards.
• Organise, monitor and manage the handback of properties to clients, ensuring guardian and client relationships are managed professionally and  effectively.
• Monitor budgets and spending on property issues, to make good choices about spending and to inform budget planning and risk management.
• Collaborate with clients on property repairs, major works or other issues.
• Provide clients with reports and information about their property as required.

Provide excellent client service

• Liaise closely with clients (building owners) to understand their needs and to keep them updated and informed about our work.
• Build strong day-to-day relationships with client contacts, working in a collaborative and service- focused way.
• Understand our client agreements and ensure that our service delivery meets the unique requirements of each contract.
• Identify opportunities to add value for our clients, encouraging the best social and financial value for all parties.

About the role

Imperial College Union is seeking a Building Co-ordinator to play a central role in the day-to-day operation of the Beit Building, one of the Union’s most active and diverse spaces. This is a hands‑on operational role that sits at the heart of student life, ensuring that the building is safe, welcoming and ready to support a wide range of student, staff and commercial activity.

Working closely with the Head of Commercial Services, Duty Managers and a wide network of internal and external stakeholders, the Building Co-ordinator will ensure that building activity runs smoothly from first enquiry through to delivery. This role also leads the Welcome Desk function, providing a consistently high standard of service and information to all building users.

The post is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, working a 35-hour week across any five days out of seven, including some evenings and weekends in line with operational needs.

What you would be doing

You will coordinate the day-to-day operation of the Beit Building, ensuring all spaces are safe, well presented and available to support student, staff and commercial activity. As the first point of contact through the Welcome Desk, you will provide clear information and high‑quality customer service, while maintaining oversight of access systems, key control and building security. You will carry out regular building checks and ensure that any issues are promptly reported and followed up.

You will manage and coordinate bookings across the building, using the digital room booking system to ensure effective use of space. This will involve liaising with internal and external clients to confirm booking details, coordinating room set‑ups and pack‑downs, and supporting Duty Managers with smooth event handovers when required.

You will lead and support the student Welcome Desk team, including recruitment, training and day‑to‑day coordination, helping to create a welcoming and inclusive environment. You will also work closely with the Health, Safety and Facilities Manager and College Estates to support compliance, report maintenance issues and contribute to improvements in building operations and user guidance.

About the role

CAFOD is looking for a Community Participation Coordinator to grow engagement across the Catholic community in Brentwood Diocese.

You’ll inspire and support volunteers, build strong relationships with parishes and clergy, and increase participation in CAFOD’s work to tackle poverty and injustice.

Working as part of a regional team, you’ll help deliver plans that drive volunteer engagement, fundraising, and community action.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver participation plans across Brentwood Diocese

Knights Youth Centre (KYC) was established in 1936 as an independent Christian Charity. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Youth and Community Leader to manage and develop the work at Oasis Knights. This is an opportunity to lead a team committed to making a tangible difference in the lives young people, their families and the broader community. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership and operational management, which includes overseeing a range of youth and community activities. A critical aspect of this role involves fundraising, business development, and monitoring the impact of all initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

· Overseeing youth provision, including mentoring, youth clubs and targeted interventions.

· Ensuring effective financial management and income generation to sustain and expand services.

· Managing and growing a team of staff and volunteers, ensuring alignment with Oasis’ ethos and values.

· Building strong partnerships with local stakeholders to support the delivery of impactful youth projects.

· Developing and maintaining monitoring and evaluation frameworks to demonstrate the impact of activities.

· Working with the building narrative to ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and other statutory requirements.

The successful post holder must have:

· A degree-level qualification or equivalent in youth work, community development or a related field.

· Proven experience in leading youth projects and managing diverse teams.

· Strong fundraising and income generation skills, with the ability to create and implement successful strategies.

· Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.

· Knowledge of safeguarding practices and experience working with young people in challenging environments.

· A track record of developing and implementing strategic plans in partnership with stakeholders.
