The RSCM is on a mission to enable the flourishing of church music, and in particular to get children singing.

Working across the whole charity, you will work to sell existing products, courses and events, as well as membership subscriptions. With a passion for the power of singing and music, you will persuade musicians, teachers and members of church communities of the value of RSCM’s offerings. You will build and leverage a network of advocates to help spread the word, accelerating take-up and growing the RSCM’s reach in churches and schools.

The post holder will be expected to work to actively drive sales of RSCM products such as ‘Hymnpact!’ (a singing resource aimed at encouraging singing in primary schools), sales of events such as singing courses, and membership subscriptions; and in some instances voluntary giving. Some of the work will be in support of RSCM Enterprises, RSCM’s wholly owned trading subsidiary.

The sales plan will be delivered with some assistance of external contractors (e.g. social media), and with input from individuals across the organisation.

The post holder is responsible for selling to individuals, corporate customers (such as school federations) and organisations (e.g. choral societies) including through appropriate organisational networks. The holder will play an active part in suggesting, agreeing and delivering agreed KPIs and sales targets, monitoring and adjusting activities as necessary to improve results. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the long-term financial viability of the charity and whilst we have a comprehensive product offer, we welcome innovation. The post holder will be expected to make suggestions and recommendations for NPD (new product development) and changes to our strategy that could make the products more attractive to parallel markets.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure the efficient, effective development and running of the organisation’s core operations including finance, HR, IT and facilities.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant and have previous experience of working at board level within a charity. With substantive experience in financial planning and business partnering, you will possess excellent communication skills and be able to convey complex financial information to a diverse range of stakeholders. Comfortable with leading teams outside of your financial expertise, you will be an empowering leader with strong coaching skills, and the ability to develop and inspire others.

About the role

As Project Officer you will play a central role in the delivery of INTRAC’s consultancy assignments and grant funded projects. This will involve coordinating short and long term projects, involving staff and consultants through our global network and clients around the world, ensuring effective and quality delivery. The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a specialist UK charity which provides expert care and support for refugees and people seeking asylum who have experienced extreme human cruelty such as torture or human trafficking. We work with hundreds of clients every year from all over the world. HBF delivers a specialist Model of Integrated Care that addresses the complex needs and vulnerabilities of survivors. Through the Model of Integrated Care, the HBF offers survivors access to an individually tailored programme of specialist psychological care and medical advisory services, legal protection including providing expert medico-legal documentation, welfare and housing support, and creative and skills activities within an integration programme. Where someone is a survivor of human trafficking they benefit from HBF’s counter-trafficking programme of support. The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Client Services Team which operates within HBF’s vibrant, multi-disciplinary team. The duties of Client Services Administrator are two-fold 1) is to host our busy reception area and friendly waiting room; welcome clients and visiting professionals to the Helen Bamber Foundation and attend to any needs they might have and 2) to oversee the booking of appointments between clients and staff/volunteers across the organisation; liaising with third parties and clinicians in relation to Initial Assessments; booking and managing doctor’s diaries for our Medical Advisory Services and the booking of interpreters across the organisation. You will be at the heart of an exciting team of experts, working as the face of HBF and the first point of contact for both external and internal queries.  You will be a self-motivating team player, organised, efficient and have a compassionate mind-set.

The role will work closely with the other person in post as Client Services Administrator and jointly manage the workload. The role also includes assistance and general facilities support to the Senior Operations and HR Coordinator.

New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. The commission will run from June 2024 for three years. As part of this, an additional service will be set up within the NHYC Youth Justice team specifically to deliver on the Alliance contract. This will include a team of Housing Caseworkers who will carry out assessments and advocacy work with young people under 25 who are fleeing violence and exploitation, in order to move them on successfully into both emergency and long-term housing options. You should be passionate about working with this client group, able to manage a fast-moving caseload, and committed to working collaboratively with a team across multiple services.

We have a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our small team to help grow Listening Books' reach. It can be difficult to know where to start and what you are entitled to, but we are here to help them every step of the way. To assist us in this endeavour, we are looking for an experienced full-time Welfare and Benefits Information Lead.  You will assist clients in claiming welfare benefits, grants, and any financial aid that may be available to them. This includes informing them of any financial help available, supporting them with applications and following up on claim as necessary.  Where anyone has been given an end of life diagnosis you will be required to start the application on their behalf. In addition, you will also conduct financial wellbeing assessments in the community and schedule one-on-one application completion consultations with individuals who request your assistance.

This vital role will suit an enthusiastic and dynamic person who has excellent communication skills, being able to deal with complex matters effectively both verbally and in writing.  You will need to understand the issues involved in interviewing people within a time defined period. The team works pan London to deliver a unique, youth-specific outreach service to young people currently or at risk of rough sleeping. The Outreach Worker will work as part of Rough Sleeping Team to deliver at least two street outreach shifts per week and transitional casework to young people facing rough sleeping. You will need to be willing to work early mornings and late evenings, to travel across London to identify young people who need our support, and to work flexibly to respond to evolving needs. SERT’s Working with Communities Team educates and engages local communities and other stakeholders who have the power, influence (and money!) to help make our rivers thrive again.  This role will play a key part in making this happen by helping us reach more people from a wider range of audiences, and connecting them to the issues facing rivers, the solutions that will make a difference and by raising our profile in the expert delivery of them.

This new role within our Working with Communities Team will develop and implement a digital strategy to amplify and support SERT’s presence through increased brand profile, supporter acquisition and engagement and donated revenue. This will involve creating and managing online marketing and fundraising campaigns for the Trust across our digital platforms that grow support for our mission, generate income, reach new audiences and promote the value of the South East’s rivers.

The role will refine the Trust’s existing supporter journey to increase donor revenue making use of its established channels (organic social media, newsletter, website) as well as researching and implementing new channels such as paid advertising, SEO, online campaigns (including crowdfunding) and new social platforms.

You will also find creative and compelling ways to talk about our work, share case studies and successes and make our website the go-to resource for expert and inspiring information about rivers and how to help them.

The ideal candidate would have a background in marcoms and fundraising for non-profits, be a compelling storyteller, and be highly confident and competent in digital communications.
