The Role

The Director of Marketing, Communications and Engagement will join the Executive Team and play a central role in delivering AllChild’s 10-year ambition.

The postholder will shape a compelling national narrative that captures both the urgency of the mission and the strength of the organisation’s place-based model. They will elevate the voices of children, young people and communities in public discourse, while ensuring brand, marketing and communications effectively support income growth and influence.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the Individual Giving strategy in collaboration with the CEO and senior leadership team
• Lead national fundraising appeals, including Sea Sunday and seasonal campaigns
• Recruit, retain and steward individual supporters through effective donor journeys
• Grow income through regular giving, legacies, volunteering and other giving products
• Manage and develop the Individual Giving team

About You

You will bring:

• Significant experience in direct marketing fundraising (ideally in the charity sector)

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire support
• Confidence working with data to inform strategy and decision making

Your key responsibilities:

• Collect and deliver donated items, including large furniture and electrical items and assist with the redistribution of stock, fixtures and fittings between branches
• Undertake house clearances and transfer appropriate donated goods to the shop
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate mileage records
• Always maintain a high standard of customer service and strict control of the security of goods collected, transported and delivered

A Daylight Fundraiser will answer to and work alongside the CEO to convey the Daylight Vision and build relationship with key Christian figures. PMRGCAuk is a small national charity dedicated to supporting people affected by polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) and giant cell arteritis (GCA). We have a big impact, supporting patients with our small staff team and with the help of a proactive team of volunteers and working closely with leading rheumatologists and researchers to improve diagnosis and treatment of these conditions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and dynamic Engagement and Communications Coordinator.

Key focus of the role

PMR and GCA are often unknown by the public and among health professionals and this newly created role is designed to support the charity in raising awareness of the condition, in order to improve diagnosis, treatment and outcomes for those affected.

Key responsibilities

· Be an ambassador for the organisation and for PMR/GCA - making opportunities to raise the profile of both PMRGCAuk and PMR/GCA more broadly

· To work with medical trustees and patrons to develop a network of health professionals who will advocate for good treatment of PMR/GCA

· To work at a national level to promote good practice and lobby government, influencing government policy where possible

· Support the development of a network of volunteer ambassadors who can deliver information talks and awareness-raising activities

· To support the Deputy Director to develop a strong social media presence and support with specific campaigns

· To ensure the website is fit-for-purpose and updated regularly, working with trustees, staff members and volunteers to develop content that is up-to-date and useful to all that visit the website

• Someone with experience of working in a small voluntary organisation who recognises the needs to be flexible and adaptable
• Someone with knowledge of the UK voluntary sector and a passion for improving health outcomes.
• A strong communicator with excellent writing, project management, and financial skills.

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to play a key role in driving visitor growth at Washington Wetland Centre, an urban oasis supporting endangered wildlife and a space providing fun and wellbeing for all.

In this exciting role, you’ll lead on the delivery of both year-round and event-specific marketing campaigns, working across a range of channels to attract, engage, and inspire new and returning audiences.

You'll be part of a passionate team dedicated to conservation, education, and unforgettable visitor experiences.

• Create and manage multi channel marketing campaigns in line with your marketing plan
• manage and deliver the site PR plan whilst maximising media and influencer relationships
• lead the site team on design and delivery of our year round events programme

Our centres provide a high-impact education programme which includes practical learning support, pastoral care, and motivational and confidence-building activities for young people aged 7-18. Our aim is to enable students from the least advantaged neighbourhoods to realise their ambitions and achieve their wonderful potential.

As the UK’s leading university access organisation, our staff team is helping 56,000 young people each year at its 44 learning centres and extension projects across England and Scotland, and we plan to scale-up our provision to 50 centres over the coming years.

We are looking for a high-calibre candidate who will enjoy working each day with young people and who will thrive in a frontline, community-based, fast-paced and rewarding role. You will be taking up a permanent role as Centre Leader at our IntoUniversity centre in Clacton-on-Sea. You will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting  IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery.

A substantial element of this role is delivering our education programme to children and young people aged 7-18, so you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people, including leading a class of 30 from the front, working with small teams of children and providing one-to-one support.

The Membership Account Manager leads the development, delivery and growth of FareShare South West’s membership programme across the West of England region. The role ensures that Community Food Members (CFMs) receive an outstanding experience, that surplus food is used effectively to strengthen communities, and that membership growth aligns with organisational strategy. Through excellent relationship management, data-driven insight and collaborative working, the postholder drives recruitment, retention and development of CFMs, ensuring FareShare South West maximises its impact across the region.

Membership Management

• Provide account management to all CFMs, resolving issues quickly, and provide enhanced support for key groups (e.g., large CFMs, programme-funded CFMs, high-impact beneficiaries).
• Oversee member onboarding, service changes, cancellations and annual renewals.
• Manage all member engagement through the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.
• Work closely with the Finance Manager to oversee annual renewals and support the recovery of late or missed payments.
• Coordinate member communications with the Communications Team to ensure a high-quality CFM experience.
• Use data and insight to track engagement, inform improvements and support retention.

Membership Recruitment

Membership and Community Development

• Support the development and introduction of new surplus food types (e.g., frozen, relabelled, catering packs) into the membership offer.

• Contribute to the development and scaling of membership programmes across regions (e.g., Crisis Resilience Fund).
