AMR Action UK is the United Kingdom patient organisation for people impacted by antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Our legitimacy to advocate for change, with policy makers and NHS organisations, comes from our small-scale research projects, our engagement with patients and their families, and from our direct support of patients through our information service and peer-support activities.

The Programmes and Projects Manager role has two main aims – to manage our grant-funded project work and, at a time of expansion and change, to put in place the underpinning systems that will support our future growth.

To be successful in the role you will need proven experience in areas covered by the job description so that you can make immediate impact on appointment. You will also be highly organised, data rational and solution focussed.

We need a well-organised team member who enjoys interacting with clients and takes pride in delivering a quality service. As a  member of small friendly team in a well established and thriving family mediation service you will co-ordinate cases, maintain records, communicate directly with clients and mediators and provide administrative support. You will need to be able to work independently in a busy office environment, be able to multi-task and oversee cases.

Full-time or part-time hours. 

Family mediation helps separating or divorcing couples to make their own arrangements for their children, property and finances as an alternative to the court process.  Given the nature of the work, sensitivity and  confidentiality are essential.

Location: Remote (based in England & Wales with occasional travel required for biannual team days in London, termly Support Coach Team meetings in various locations, and twice termly vists to facilitators in various locations). Due to location of regional hubs, we would encourage applications from the Bristol, Liverpool and Manchester areas.

Salary: £28,665 - £30,765 pro rata (£22,932 - £24,612 actual)

About the role

The Support Coach role involves:

• Supporting volunteer facilitators by coaching them through the opportunities, challenges and obstacles of running a Kids Matter programme
• Training and upskilling facilitators by helping run events and develop new resources
• Working with the wider Kids Matter team to encourage and strengthen Kids Matter’s church partnerships

At Kids Matter, we are committed to delivering effective coaching. All Support Coaches are given the opportunity to go through the coaching accreditation process with ICF to become an Associate Certified Coach (ACC). Kids Matter provides the support and supervision for this to take place, and will cover the cost of the accreditation if the individual remains employed as a Support Coach for the two years following applying for accreditation. If the individual leaves before two years, a percentage of the accreditation cost will be required to pay back.

Creative Support is looking for a warm, reliable and proactive Relief Support Worker to join our friendly and passionate staff team in Accrington, Lancashire.

We provide quality care and support to residents with a range of support needs, primarily learning disabilities. No two days will be the same at this service as we support our service users to follow their passions and engage in a range of activities including: movie nights, gardening, board games, arts and crafts and many more!

Your role will include:

- Providing personal care, administering medication and helping with other domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning,

- Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities,

- Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families enabling them to enjoy their time at the service to the fullest,

- You will be paid on a weekly basis.

This is a Relief Support Worker position which enables you to pick up shifts at a time that suits you, which is ideal for fitting around personal commitments, study or caring responsibilities.

Twelve months minimum of previous experience within a care role is an essential requirement for this relief based role, successful applicants must attend mandatory induction training courses to begin this role.
