Brief role description
The People Team Administrator provides comprehensive administrative support to the People Team, with responsibility for recruitment and onboarding of new employees, maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating benefits, and acting as the first point of contact for employee queries. The role holds ownership of HR administration, including the production of HR paperwork, and serves as the day-to-day generalist HR contact for all employees on behalf of the team.
In addition, the People Team Administrator plays a key role in supporting the implementation of the Charity’s HR strategy and associated projects, providing robust support to the Head of People and the People Team Advisor and wider stakeholders across the organisation. The role requires compliance at all times with company policies, procedures, and prevailing UK employment legislation.

The Order of St John is both an international charity providing first aid and community healthcare in 44 countries and territories across the globe and a modern Crown Order of Chivalry. A small secretariat in London provides support and strategic direction for organisations in the St John family and the Order’s governance bodies. We are looking for a Head of Chancery to join the senior management team in the International Office in London, with specific responsibility for the Order of Chivalry.
This is an unusual job, offering candidates with an interest in the chivalry and the history and traditions of a historic Order, combined with an understanding of the need to adapt and modernise to remain relevant, the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the Order’s future.
The role is part-time, initially 25 hours a week.
The job holder is required to work in close consultation with the Order’s Chancellor and the Secretary General to:
- Manage the Order’s honours and awards process, a complex and sensitive set of duties;
- Liaise with external stakeholders including the Royal family, the Order’s senior leadership (including the leadership of the Order’s Priories, Commanderies and St John Associations around the world) and the four other recognised orders of St John to promote and protect the Order of St John;

- Act as Secretary for meetings of the Order’s Honours and Awards Committee and Chair of Order’s Unrecognised Orders Group.
- As a member of the senior management team, contribute to policy making and planning across the whole range of the International Office’s activities.

About this key role
Our successful candidate will deliver tailored, young person-centred support to those who are not yet ready for education, training, or employment (ETE). You will hold a caseload of up to 15 young people at one time, supporting at least 60 over the course of a year, and work collaboratively with allocated Caseworkers to develop and deliver practical, strengths-based plans that build confidence, motivation, and personal development.
You will identify and help young people access appropriate opportunities, including volunteering, insight days, traineeships, and early work experience and help them overcome barriers that impact their ability to engage with ETE — supporting them to take small, achievable steps towards long-term goals. They will work collaboratively with carers, families, and professionals to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to care and sustained community inclusion. This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke.
Position: S11317 Stroke Support Coordinator
Location: Home-based, South of Tyne and Wear. However, frequent travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)
Salary: Circa £16,440 per annum (FTE circa £27,400 per annum)

Rape Crisis South London is looking for a skilled and experienced professional who is passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of the South West London (SWL) Child Sexual Abuse Early Emotional Support Service for the CYP service. Working closely with the NHS and Schools you will manage a small specialist counselling team ensuring high-quality, trauma informed support for our young people who have experienced sexual violence. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Safeguarding legislation for children and adults, as well as child development.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to develop partnerships with schools, families, funders and other key stakeholders. You will hold a relevant professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and be registered with the BACP/UKCP or equivalent. You will have significant experience of working therapeutically with children and young people, ideally in the contexts of trauma or abuse.
Responsible to the Clinical Lead for CYP you will also provide additional support in the management and allocation of referrals, as well as provide additional support and advice as required to the wider CYP Service.
