Aurora New Dawn is a registered charity providing support and advocacy to survivors of domestic abuse, stalking and sexual violence.
The Children & Young Person’s Advocate will support children at risk of domestic abuse, including sexual violence and stalking within a domestic abuse context within the Thames Valley area. Children will be identified via their non-abusing parent who is already accessing support as a victim of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking from Aurora New Dawn. The support offered to the child will be parallel to the non-abusing parent’s support and offers the parent a safe space to speak confidentially to their advocate.
The Children & Young Person’s Advocate will take part in age appropriate activities via various communication channels with the child. This can include telephone conversations, face to face visits, reading books, arts and crafts and offering an environment for the child to communicate any worries or concerns they may have.

Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you keen to work with children to support and develop their phonics and reading skills?
38% of children from disadvantaged backgrounds leave primary school in England each year unable to read to the expected standard. Chapter One is a fast-growing charity, with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills they need to thrive. We work to ensure that all children have 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most.
Our Early Literacy Intervention (ELI) programme (based on a model that serves 20,000 children successfully in the USA) provides daily, 1:1, 7 minute phonics sessions for children who are behind in phonics. Using a bespoke technology tool, a trained Early Literacy Interventionist works individually with target children.
This ELI role, reporting to the Schools Development Manager, is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop and grow their knowledge of phonics and/or their teaching skill set. It is ideal for someone with previous school experience who is looking for a new and exciting challenge.
You will conduct initial baseline assessments and then deliver differentiated, 1:1, targeted, 7 minute phonics sessions to pupils using a systematic, synthetic approach. Although you are employed by Chapter One, you will work closely with the school team to understand the progression of the school’s phonics teaching; establish tailored plans for each child and feedback on pupil progress. Using your knowledge and insight, you will also collaborate with colleagues at Chapter One to further improve the ELI model, the online tool and programme delivery.

This is a part-time role, based across two primary schools in North London. One school is Millbrook Park CE Primary School, NW7 1JF and the other is The Devonshire Hill Nursery and Primary School, N17 8LB. Our preference is for a candidate who will work across both schools, travelling between them in the middle of the day. About the role
As a seasonal order picker, you will play a vital part in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently on time during our busiest period. It will involve working as part of a small team, being responsible for picking and packing products, maintaining stock accuracy and supporting with the smooth flow of goods in and out of the operation.
The role will be fast paced working to accurately pick, pack and process customer orders in line with SLAs. It will involve working collaboratively with team members to meet targets and communicating any issues to the Order Picker Supervisor.
About you
To be successful in the role you will need to be comfortable working at a fast pace and ensuring to maintain a high level of accuracy in a dead-line driven environment. Also making sure to have strong attention to detail to make sure the orders are picked and packed correctly.
Being able to work well as part of a team is important to contribute towards a positive and efficient working environment and be confident to use basic IT systems and handheld devices to update stock and order records.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to manage our two Carlisle Extra Care services, Heysham Gardens and Burnside Court are both well established, well regarded services. Both services have a vibrant and established care team providing compassionate support to older adults. The services always ensure support cover is in place during the day and operates waking night support to clients should they need it. The service is registered with the CQC as delivering Personal Care and has good systems and processes in place to ensure that a quality service is delivered consistently. You will need to fulfil the role of registered manager with the CQC for this service and meet the expectations of the local authority commissioners and the contract that unpins the service which holds a ‘Good’ rating with the Care and Quality Commission.

The role will involve the operational management of the service and the direct supervision of a Deputy Manager and Support Workers.
You will be expected to work effectively with families and other agencies and to maintain a positive and trusting relationship with the on-site Housing Scheme Managers. You will need skills in contract and relationship management. You will undertake quality assurance checks at the service to ensure compliance with essential standards of care, this is a busy service and therefore you will need to be hard working, accountable and have strong organisational skills.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with other agencies to provide a holistic and joined up approach for meeting the needs of older adults. You will respond to referrals, undertake assessments and take part in allocation processes. You will ensure that each person moving into the service has a personalised care plan which ensures that their needs and preferences are met.
You will have relevant skills, knowledge and at least three years management experience gained in the care and support of older people in settings such as extra care, home care or residential care. You will have previous experience of staff supervision and management. Operational Support

Support the Operations Manager in the successful delivery of the Annual
Operations plan.
Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and take
minutes in operations-related working groups.
Support with updating operational policies and procedures.
Act as a Charity Data Protection Officer (DPO), alongside the Operations
Manager - following relevant training, to promote a strong GDPR culture.
Assist in the coordination of charity vehicle fleet maintenance schedules
and provide breakdown response support.
Assist in the control and coordination of the use of charity space and
assets, including liaising with contractors and Sheffield Teaching
Hospitals (STH) on relevant matters as required.
Act as a designated keyholder, responsible for the opening and closing
procedure.
Manage the operations shared email inbox.
Health & Safety
Serve as the first point of contact for all Health & Safety matters,
including incidents and accidents, ensuring accurate recording and
reporting.
Provide operational and administrative support on all Health & Safety
matters at our sites and external locations (including external events and
the Outreach Service, updating COSHH reports).
Assist in the procurement, delivery and recording of mandatory staff
training needs.
Help establish and maintain safe working practices and policies and
undertake basic risk assessments.
Workwear and equipment
Act as the first point of contact for workwear and equipment requests;
including being responsible for issuing and returning stock, regular stock
checks and ordering stock as required.
Tech Support
Serve as the first point of contact for general IT enquiries.
Consult with IT consultants to ensure adherence to processes.
Work with the Operations Manager to implement processes that
maintain the IT security score.
Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including
software licenses, logins, and induction training.
Serve as lead administrator for key operational software, such as Webex
phone system and Vatix Lone Worker App.
General Administrative Support & Development
Handle general enquiries from staff, patients, and volunteers efficiently.
Manage charity postal enquiries.
Assist the Operations Manager with the procurement of stationery and
consumables.
Assist the wider team with ad hoc work and undertake small projects
that support the charity's work. e.g. Events, Logistical and Tech Support.
Environmental Advocate
Work with the Operations Manager to promote environmental
awareness and encourage the charity adopts a green approach (e.g.,
recycling, energy use, carbon footprint).
Identify and implement actions to reduce environmental impacts, costs,
and/or increase income under the direction of the Operations Manager.

Oasis Southampton City Farm is a community focused registered charity working in Southampton. We provide a range of supportive, wellbeing boosting, and nature-based activities for our communities, which include young people and adult learners with disabilities.
We are looking for sessional farm assistants who will support the Farm Lead in delivering the vision for the farm by supporting the delivery of the farm’s variety of activities, including:
· To deliver youth activities on the farm, supporting young people to help care for the animals
· To deliver birthday parties on weekends to groups of up to 30,
· To deliver animal experiences, giving families the opportunity to meet and greet our rescued and rehomed animals
· To support our adult day service with caring for our animals
· To support with the animal cleaning and feeding rota, alongside groups or individuals.
· To support with the running of our café, which runs on the weekends. Working alongside our youth volunteers to serve refreshments and food.

The Role
The service operates in a fast-paced, person-centred environment, where Coordinators identify and respond to the evolving needs of stroke survivors and their carers. This includes delivering structured reviews at six months post-stroke, supporting stroke survivors in their ongoing recovery and helping them achieve their personal goals.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Work as part of a team to plan and deliver engaging peer support and communication groups

The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen within Worcestershire for an experienced Project Manager to join our highly successful Homelessness Prevention Service. The service also delivers the SWEP Night Shelters across the six districts within the County.
You'll need to have a flexible approach to working, to meet the needs of the service and be highly responsive to referrals for homelessness across Worcestershire. The ideal candidate will have relevant homelessness service experience. Travel will be required between service areas and occasionally the head office in Gloucestershire.
