The Role
As a Project Lead for the ASB team you will be:
- Managing a small team of ASB caseworkers including performance management, monitoring and support

- Working with the Operations Manager to ensure delivery of the business plan and associated outcomes

- Leading on delivery of training to local agencies, organisations and bodies to represent the service and increase knowledge and understanding of issues related to the ASB
- Contributing to and attending monitoring meetings with funders/commissioners and providing reporting when required
- Playing a lead role in developing VS’s ASB work at both local and national levels
- When the service requires, holding a small caseload providing high quality support to service users in line with VS policies and operating procedures.
The role is home-based within Devon and Cornwall and therefore is open to applicants who both live in this area and have access to an appropriately confidential space in which to work. Regular travel within working hours will be expected across Devon and Cornwall to fulfil the role and travel expenses are paid. Core service hours are between 9am – 5pm, with the expectation to flex to need where required, managed within flexible working arrangements.

We have an exciting opportunity to become a vital part of Derbyshire Mind’s Senior Management Team as HR and Quality Manager, providing effective leadership and management of our HR and Quality functions in line with our strategy and values.
The HR and Quality Manager is responsible for the overall management, development and delivery of the Human Resources (HR) and Quality functions for Derbyshire Mind. They are also the lead manager responsible for Health and Safety and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). They ensure that all aspects of quality, governance and compliance across the organisation are identified, developed, monitored and maintained. They are supported in these work areas by the Administrator.
The key roles and responsibilities of the HR and Quality Manager are:

Leading the operational management and administration of HR and quality across the organisation.
Providing HR guidance and support to line managers.
Managing and supporting an Administrator.
Leading on health and safety and equality, diversity and inclusion for the organisation.
Co-ordinating the review process of organisational policies and procedures.
Leading and developing Derbyshire Mind's recruitment, induction and performance management processes.
Ensuring that Derbyshire Mind's HR systems and processes are in line with employment law.
Leading the delivery and development of staff and volunteer training.
Co-ordinating Derbyshire Mind's Mind Quality Mark (MQM) review process.
Managing Derbyshire Mind's office sites and facilities.
Attending Board meetings and being an active member of the Governance Sub-Committee

About Women in Prison
Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.
Job Purpose:
To provide strategic oversight and operational management for Women in Prison services in Surrey. The role will focus on delivering Surrey Women’s CRS probation contract, which involves providing holistic one to one support and advocacy to women serving community orders, and will also focus on development of the Surrey programme.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Lead on the operational management and strategic oversight of the Surrey programme, ensuring high quality, trauma responsive services are delivered to women in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with, the criminal justice system.
- Provide effective leadership to the Surrey team, fostering a positive and supportive culture.
- Monitor case management systems to ensure accurate and timely data recording, aligning with contract KPIs and WIP’s policies.
- Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders, such as the Probation and local authority leads to ensure effective service delivery.

THE ROLE: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) / Permanent / Hybrid role - working a minimum of four days a week onsite and one day a week working from home. Working Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm with the requirement of working tone late shift per week and one shift at the weekend per month.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Supported Housing Manager to join us managing our two 24-hour supported housing services in central Brighton and Hove offering high levels of housing-related support for young people aged 16-25. The services have up to 20 bedspaces, with shared communal facilities; the services support young people to manage their daily living activities in areas including finances and budgeting, developing life and work skills, and managing self-care. In delivering the role, you will be responsible for:
-- Service Provision: Responsible for the daily operations of the service so that it meets the requirements of the service specification, and:
- reflects Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma Informed approaches and restorative practices
- identifies, maps and encourages the strengths and talents of each young person, enabling them to acquire the skills they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives
-- Leadership and People Management: Lead and manage a team, recruiting and inducting new staff, and supporting their performance to ensure high standards of service at all times
-- Partnerships: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner organisations that add value to the core, commissioned service (or have the potential to) attending relevant multi-disciplinary meetings as needed
-- General: Be a member of the ‘on call’ rota to provide out of hours management support to projects in the wider locality

You will already have experience of leading supported housing services, with proven experience in safeguarding in a supported housing environment. You will have a sound knowledge of the additional risks incurred by children and young people who have multiple, and complex needs due to their experiences and knowledge of trauma informed practice and how to create psychologically informed environments. In addition, you will be flexible, with the ability to work under pressure, multi-tasking and dealing with competing priorities. Ideally you will have knowledge and knowledge of Ofsted.
