The Centre for Progressive Change is looking for a Safe Sick Pay Campaign Director that will be part of the newly formed Executive Team. The Campaign Director will be in charge of our campaign for Safe Sick Pay, so that everyone has the Statutory Sick Pay they need. The Campaign Director will form the campaign strategy to see an increase in the rate of Statutory Sick Pay, fundraise to implement the strategy, hire campaign team members, support the team to implement the strategy, hold the key stakeholder relationships, drive the campaign, and deliver parts of the campaign where needed.

As a member of the Executive Team, the Campaign Director will be part of the team responsible for the strategy, structure, team, culture and finances of the organisation.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential, along with discretion in handling confidential information and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Experience in event coordination, document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, OneDrive), and working in a fast-paced office environment is also required.

Desirably, the candidate may bring an interest in the screen sector, policy or education, experience with visual content tools like Canva, familiarity with AI tools, social media management, and the ability to provide basic tech troubleshooting. A calm, confident manner and experience working in a matrix environment would be advantageous.

This role is primarily office based (near Barbican) with 4 days a week in the office and 1 day a week from home. The core working hours are 9-5pm. Some very occasional evening or weekend working may be required but TOIL will be provided on those occasions.

What you will be doing

This is a strategic and creative role at the heart of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People’s national fundraising and engagement efforts. The post holder will lead the development and delivery of national community and challenge event programmes across all four UK regions (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland).

Using strong project and campaign management skills, the role will grow existing initiatives charity owned initiatives such as the Great British Dog Walk and the 28 Challenge and develop new, audience-led campaigns that inspire public participation, drive fundraising, and deepen long-term engagement with the charity.

The Role
This role is focused on managing and growing our work with other third sector organisations. Location: Home-based, with occasional travel to Respect’s or SafeLives’ offices in London/ Bristol, and other meeting locations including staff meetings twice a year

Salary: £35,614 Per Annum starting salary. Respect salary banding point 32-34, £35,614- £37,489 (a London Allowance of £3,299.00 will be applied to employees who live in London) 

We are pleased to offer a starting salary at the beginning point of the salary band. This position offers opportunities for salary increases based on performance and tenure.

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week; Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm 

Job type: Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2026, with a possibility to extend, subject to funding.

About the role:

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Drive Data Team Manager and Senior Managers within the Drive Partnership to ensure data and reporting remains rigorous and robust, and informs recommendations across the Drive Programme and partners. You will do this by taking a lead role on the ongoing data collection, analysis, research design and delivery of our work across the Drive Programme workstreams.  The Senior Data Analyst will also act as a liaison between data teams within Respect and Safelives where there is identified workstreams that cross over. 

The Senior Data Analyst will manage the Drive Data Analysts to ensure high quality data collection, reporting, quality assurance, analysis, and maintenance of Drive programme data, including data collected via the projects Case Management Systems you will use data and information to influence policy and inform practitioners, commissioners, and government about the sector. This is a great opportunity to see our data and research inform and improve the response to domestic abuse. 

About you: 

• Experience of analysing and drawing meaning from large quantitative data sets, including the advanced use of Excel 
• Experience of developing and managing Case Management Systems and the reporting from the system 
• Excellent analysis skills with a strong ability to identify key themes in complex material, test interpretation and ensure that messages are relevant to practice and policy contexts
• Experience of effective line management of people with a diverse range of needs, expertise, backgrounds, and communication styles
• Confident communicating clear practice and policy implications from data and evidence and presenting them in a range of formats to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
