About The Role

We are looking for a Gift Aid Specialist to join the Royal British Legion on a fixed-term, 12-month contract to lead a review and enhancement of our Gift Aid processes'. Along with undertaking regular business activities and tasks. This role offers the chance to work closely with multiple teams to maximise Gift Aid income and ensure full compliance with HMRC regulations across more than £100 million of fundraised income. You will be the key point of contact for Gift Aid matters, supporting the organisation to strengthen its financial foundation in support of our important mission.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues from Data Services, Finance, Income Processing, and other teams to ensure claims are accurate and compliant. Managing and supporting relationships with external partners who carry out Gift Aid activities on our behalf will also be a key part of your role.

We are seeking someone who can take ownership of reviewing and updating Gift Aid policies, procedures, and training materials to reflect changing legislation. You will help embed robust monitoring and reporting frameworks, manage change programmes, and ensure that compliance and risk are effectively managed. Representing the Royal British Legion in dealings with HMRC and external auditors will be an important responsibility, requiring strong communication and organisational skills.

The Role

This role serves as the strategic lead of the European ecosystem, including the UK, overseeing strategies to ensure this powerful movement is growing, is supported, and is being nurtured across communities, countries, leveraging and building power with key actors.
This role understands the nuance of targeted campaigns, how to win them, the context of the big picture, and then designs strategies to intersect the short and long term to build actionable plans for maximum impact.

Working collaboratively across Europe and globally, you will lead the development and implementation of Europe's movement strategy – understanding our campaigns, leading power mapping, understanding constituency and context needs, running experiments, and distributing grants. You will create and recruit new partnerships and groups from new and diverse constituencies, growing their skills and capacities.

Skills Required

You don’t need experience in fossil finance or climate – you can be a leader in your own field of environmental or social justice, such as trade unions, faith or youth groups, community organisations, worker bodies, etc. You’re a strategic, experienced, and collaborative campaign leader and relational organiser, with a passion for winning campaigns and growing regional movements. You have a nuanced understanding of how systemic change happens and can take a long-term view of power and power building in order to deliver short term wins. Your career includes creative corporate and political regional and local campaigns, including winning or iterating on campaigns through diverse stakeholder strategies.

You enjoy working across the political spectrum, or different theories of change, and understand what it takes to build trust, nurture creativity and unleash the potential of individuals and groups. You are adaptive, flexible, and respectful and highly self-driven. You definitely have the following:

• Demonstrated experience building a movement or organisation which has influenced systemic change
• Leadership experience in a similar role and an understanding of the European political landscape

The purpose of this role is to provide leadership, oversight and curation to the FYT Leadership Team, and to lead the smooth running of the FYT Organisation which supports the wider FYT Movement. This will include coordinating the delivery of the strategic plan, leading fundraising, and working closely with the FYT Board to oversee the smooth running of the organisation.

Hours: 22.5 hrs per week

Key Responsibilities:

How you will make a difference

This role supports the organisation through a strong focus on business intelligence, data collation, and analytics. It plays a critical part in ensuring contract compliance through the development of effective systems and supporting quality improvement. The role involves contract reporting and the preparation of PowerBI dashboards, apps, reports, and presentations to inform strategic decision-making.

Key areas of focus include Criminal Justice, Peer Support Groups, People Analytics, Fundraising, Finance, and Risk and Governance. The postholder will work across these domains to provide clear insights and contribute to organisational learning and development.

Working hours for this role are flexible. It is a home-based position, but we value in-person collaboration, so some travel will be required to main office locations (primarily London) and occasional visits to services across the UK.

Team Administrator

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated administrator who would like a varied role.  The successful candidate will provide cross-departmental support and administrative support to the Director and Senior Leadership Team. There is real scope for the candidate to shape the role and gain experience from involvement in various organisational projects. Key responsibilities

Providing support to the First Give team, primarily the SLT

• To be the first point of contact for enquiries to First Give by email and telephone
• Provide administrative support for First Gives Board of Trustees and SLT, including scheduling meetings and meeting minutes
• Supporting with communications to stakeholders e.g. schools, facilitators or funders as needed
• Managing First Gives relationship with external contractors such as printers and Salesforce support

Overseeing and managing financial administration

• Setting up and tracking payments to contractors and charities in our banking system ensuring timely completion
• Processing, reviewing and identifying outstanding invoices (including working closely with school finance departments to ensure timely payment of school contributions)
• Administering expenses and pre-paid card system, ensuring expenses are accurately recorded each month
• Provide regular monthly tracking reports on payments to the Director

Administering First Give’s charity grants

• Carrying out due diligence for winning charities to ensure comply with First Give donation rules
• Liaising with winning charities to arrange payment and ensuring accurate records of payments processed
• Running monthly reports on payments for the Director

Providing support to the Programmes team

• Supporting the Programmes team with recruitment of judges for school finals
• Managing First Give’s programme resources stock, ensuring we have enough programme documents and equipment to resource the programme

The Holly Lodge Centre is a small charity in the heart of Richmond Park with a mission to ensure outdoor education is accessible for all. We are small but mighty, last year providing nature and heritage based education sessions, for over 7,500 learners. Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in UK policy or public affairs, a strong understanding of UK policymaking processes and a proven track record of influencing UK public policy and engaging with senior policymakers, regulators, parliamentarians and other key stakeholders. You will have a sound knowledge of responsible investment, financial and/or sustainability regulation or a strong commitment to acquiring this knowledge quickly.  We target our services at the most vulnerable in our community. ​Our Community Advice service is at the heart of our work—delivering generalist advice through face-to-face, telephone, video, and digital channels. The team ensures that people in Camden can access support across a wide range of issues including benefits, housing, employment, and more. ​About the Role

As Advice Supervisor you will be a key member of our Community Advice team, supervising and contributing to the delivery of our core service. You will help ensure we provide a quality advice service to Camden residents across face-to-face, telephone, video channels and other digital developments and ensure the targets, outputs and outcomes of all the generalist advice contracts and/or grant agreements are met.

​​Ideally, you will already be an experienced Advice Supervisor; however, we will consider offering this role as a development opportunity if you are an experienced Generalist Adviser wanting to progress your career. You will need to have experience in delivering high quality generalist advice and casework and be able to demonstrate the potential to support others with varying levels of experience to do the same.

Background and summary of the job

The Minster Centre is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee that provides training in psychotherapy and counselling and an affordable therapy service.

It was founded in 1978 as the first Integrative psychotherapy and counselling training in the UK and is a leading psychotherapy training institution. Now based in Queens Park, NW London, it runs training ranging from open access introductory courses to post-graduate degrees validated by Middlesex University. The Minster Centre caters for around 300 diploma and MA students each year. It is registered with the Office for Students.

The Minster Centre Psychotherapy & Counselling Service (MCPCS) also provides a safe, affordable and professional counselling service to people over the age of 18 who are experiencing a range of difficulties. We strive to offer a high-quality and affordable Psychotherapy and Counselling service to the community and to offer our trainees an experience underpinned by our values.

The Minster Centre Psychotherapy & Counselling Service Administrator will work with the Clinical Services Manager and one other Administrator to ensure the smooth running of the service and support in its continuing development.

Role purpose

Enquiries

• Dealing with phone and email enquiries including potential MCPCS clients, existing clients, trainee therapists and placement providers, etc.
• Emailing Assessment Application Forms, assessing suitability of enquirer for service – asking for additional help when required from the Clinical Services Manager.

Administration

• Providing strong administrative support to the Clinical Services Manager.
• Providing regular detailed data information to the Clinical Services Manager, including reports from Access Database and future Charitylog data systems about functionality of service.
• Inputting and updating student data spreadsheets and client spreadsheets relating to client session fees, providing reports and liaising with students, finance team and clients to ensure all session fees are up to date and reporting on any missed payments weekly.
• Administer MCPCS processes and procedures for instance by designing forms and records formats, ensuring they are available to students, supervisors and clients. Ensuring the service has paperwork available to operate effectively: Assessment packs; Allocation packs; student forms.
• Inputting data from paper records and managing electronic records. Keeping data management up to date and archiving files as and when appropriate.
• Assisting Clinical Services Manager and other senior leadership in overseeing MCPCS, with additional tasks as and when requested.

Terms and conditions

Salary: £14,045 pro rata (17.5 hours) - £28,090 FTE (35 hours)

Hours: 17.5 hours per week. Candidates must be available to work on Thursdays.

Location: Hybrid working (onsite and home). The applicant must be available to work from the Minster Centre office (Queen’s Park, NW6) at least one day a week which must include Thursdays.

Contract: 12-month fixed term contract

Holidays: 33 days (including bank holidays) pro rata

The Welcome Directory is a multi-faith organisation dedicated to supporting the successful resettlement of prison leavers across England and Wales. We facilitate equal access to faith-based social inclusion while challenging stigma and discrimination as a vital and effective pathway for positive mental wellbeing; helping people to turn their lives around in the long-term and break the cycle of reoffending. We work at the grassroots level to build community capacity, create positive attitudinal change and to build more inclusive and thus resilient communities.

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Officer to lead on administrative support to the charity under the direction of the Project Manager, supporting on engagement with various stakeholders and networks. The goal of the post is to ensure that The Welcome Directory can effectively develop the reach of our work and achieve exponential growth, by maximising administrative efficiency. 

Whilst this is a 6-month contract, there is the potential to extend where funding permits.

The role will include:

Leading on operational projects, including:

• Faith community engagement
  • Processing faith/ belief community registrations and maintaining records
  • Approaching existing and prospective faith/ belief communities, including follow up to the annual survey and periodical team campaigns
• Assisting with the production of the annual physical directory
• Co-ordinating the annual Affiliates Scheme
• Researching new initiatives or solutions

Supporting events, including:

• Support in the administration of the online Prisons Awareness Course and other webinar events, including technical support
• Planning bi-annual team days and any one-off events, in consultation with the Project Manager
• Planning bi-annual team campaign periods, in consultation with the Project Manager and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
• Preparing resources and/or PowerPoint presentations and booking logistics, in consultation with the Project Manager and the Communications & Fundraising Officer

Leading on administration, including:

• Answering phone, email, and letter enquiries
• Purchasing of supplies and dispatch of resources
• Co-ordinating and setting up meetings
• Collating routine data and creating trackers to support operations
• Creating an annual team planner
• Taking minutes at specific meetings
• Leading on team password management
• Following up with stakeholders as required

Supporting on financial operations, including:

• Processing expenses claims and issuing internal invoices
• Paying-in cheques and paying external invoices
• Maintaining the organisational asset register
