To succeed in this role you will need:

- Significant experience of management within a programme funding environment.
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders up to senior management.
- Deep understanding of international development issues and how they relate to Sightsavers' work.
- Established relationships with major multilateral and bilateral government and foundation donors, particularly FCDO, USAID and Gates.
- Ability to build effective cross organisational relationships, including leading teams.
- Planning and coordination skills.

Job Purpose:
The Institutional Funding Manager will play an important role in SHA’s institutional income generation activities. Working closely with assigned country teams, the post-holder will support pipeline development, lead the development and writing of high-quality bids, donor engagement, and positioning for contract and grant opportunities. Pratham is one of the largest and most respected education charities in India. We developed a model that can teach a child to read and do basic maths in as little as 30 days for £14. We also have preschool, vocational and women's education programmes.

The Role
As Assistant Accountant, you will take a lead role in every aspect of the day-today accounting and financial stewardship of the Church, working in collaboration with the staff team. A Charity that supports young people are recruiting for a Financial Planning Business Analyst on an initial 9-month contract to support the implementation of a new budgeting and forecasting software tool.
