We are looking for an organised and determined individual who feels comfortable working in and leading multi-disciplinary teams.  Not only should you be driven to work on the most complex projects in the organisation, you should feel comfortable supporting and training colleagues in project techniques to improve general efficiency.

As a Change Manager, you will be part of a central PMO, but will be expected to work across the organisation as we deliver St Mungo’s Transformation Programme.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations. 

About you

You will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of leading and managing large and/or complex change programmes, particularly involving structural, operational and process change.

Proven success of working with all levels management and leading and influencing teams of people (directly and indirectly), ideally within a Transformation and/or Business Change environment will be key.

To be successful in this role, you will also have;

• Strong people skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Excellent written and verbal communication skills including accuracy and attention to detail.
• Understanding of digital technologies used in internal communications.
• Able to work on own initiative and manage multiple priorities, working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Able to apply skills and experience to St Mungo’s context and deliver change communications that are appropriate as well as effective.
• Demonstrable experience or qualification in a recognised change management technique (PROSCI, ADKAR).  If not, then ability and commitment to gain a qualification as part of performance management will be considered.
• To consult, draft materials, and delivery training on change management tools and techniques as requested by the Transformation Programme Manager.

About us

Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.

Our Finance Team is expanding and we have an exciting opportunity available for a Management Accountant! You will be part of our finance team and will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, assisting annual budgeting and restricted funding income. This is to provide support in decision making across relevant areas of the organisation and to continuously improve the efficiency and quality of what we do to support other functions in driving efficiencies and reducing costs.

You will report into the Financial Controller and will work as part of a team alongside our experienced and knowledgeable Finance Business Partners.

Title: Management Accountant

Salary: £47,397 per year FTE 

Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 35 hours per week

Location: Based in London but with extremely flexible home-working available in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working policy

About the role

As management accountant, you will –

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts for the organisation
• Assist forecasts and budgets in liaison with the Finance Business Partners and budget managers providing support and advice for new projects/contracts when required. Applicants will need a keen eye for detail!
• Manage and plan restricted funding ensuring funds are spent in accordance with supporter requirements.
• Assist in year-end statutory audit process

About you

To be successful in this role you will have ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent CCAB recognised accounting qualification, or working towards such a qualification, or can demonstrate being qualified by experience. The ideal candidate for this role will

• Be a self-starter with an excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide industry-leading customer service to all internal and external customers.
• Have strong interpersonal skills are required to liaise confidently with other parts of the Business 
• Have an inquiring and analytical mind, and be able to demonstrate good attention to detail
• Have an innovative approach and ability to work in a changing environment

Becoming part of our change programme, you will be based in the Transformation team, but will be expected to work with colleagues across the organisation, particularly IT.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. About you

To be successful in this role you will be confident performing business analysis on assigned projects. Communication is also key in this role as you will be ensuring that business needs are clearly articulated and shared with IT and Transformation whilst providing translation of technical and business language for wider understanding.

You will build and maintain stakeholder relationships within relevant teams, especially project teams, supporting teams throughout planning, implementation, and development and design phases of projects. This will include performing  requirements management and ensure that governance milestones are properly met.

• Be highly efficient with a strong attention to detail. 
• Understand working in a mission-based organisation. 
• Have some relevant experience and/or qualifications (Green Belt Six Sigma or other related qualifications) 
• Be able to translate technical information for non-technical users. 
• Be an effective communicator with strong report writing skills and not afraid to call out risks and/or failing performance. 
• Consult, draft materials, and delivery training on business analysis tools and techniques as requested by the Transformation Programme Manager. 
• Be a team player able to work effectively within and across teams.

Ensuring the safety of their customers in their homes is a key priority for our client. As their Asset & Compliance Administration Manager your focus will be leading the team in a concise and structured fashion to ensure that processes and interactions aid the delivery of Customer Safety and planned maintenance. Your role will undertake a proactive approach to zero tolerance on Customer Safety and you'll ensure all aspects of customer safety / compliance are maintained, while supporting the delivery and completion of planned maintenance programmes. It's an exciting time to join them as changes in legislation mean that you'll be actively involved in improving their processes to achieve the best results. 

What skills/behaviours do you need to be an Asset & Compliance Administration Manager?

- Excellent understanding of Customer Safety regimes in electrical, gas, water hygiene, asbestos and mechanical/electrical and a clear understanding of cyclical regimes and remedial actions
- Presenting accurate information, clearly and concisely in reports or dashboards
- Ability to analyse performance information and pinpoint threats to Customer Service and financial performance
- Experience of leading a team towards achieving 100% Customer Safety, contract management, performance and budget management objectives
- Knowledge of finance and housing management systems

Location

The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to Bradford City Centre. They’re a keen promoter of agile working and encourage the use of working from home, as long as they meet their customer’s needs.

They’ll provide you with the equipment and software that you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.

Should you wish to work occasionally from any of their regional offices, you may do so on a hot desk basis which will need to be arranged via their online booking system.

Salary

The spot salary for this post is £44,559 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

Provide reception and general office support for our busy team

• Be the first point of contact for members of the public contacting Glass Door, answering the phones and logging all calls; dealing with incoming enquiries by telephone, email, website feedback or voicemail; passing on queries to colleagues as appropriate.

Support our Fundraising, Communications and Volunteering functions

• Help to process deliveries of physical donations; scan cheques and ensure cash donations are recorded, secured in the safe and the Fundraising and Communications (FRC) team are notified.
• Provide ad hoc support to the FRC team such as ordering stationery / supplies, sorting equipment / doing stock checks and assisting with mass mail outs. 

Roma Outreach Worker (Full-time, 12-month fixed term contract)

37.5 Hours per week

This role will require the person to work early mornings and late nights in order to conduct outreach shifts in the Borough.

UK Driving Licence and Romani or Romanian language skills are essential.

The Role

The purpose of the Roma Outreach Worker role is to deliver an effective service to single people who are currently rough sleeping. This post will actively support Roma clients, providing a continued and consistent point of contact whilst assisting them in navigating the various change pathways available to them.

To be considered for the role of Roma Outreach Worker, you will have:

- Able to speak Romani or Romanian fluently or to a high level.
- Full and clean UK driving licence.
- Good understanding of the Roma communities.
- Experience of working within the homelessness or social care sector.
- Have a creative, solution-focused approach to overcoming challenges.
- Knowledge of GDPR and data management.
- Knowledge of current drug and alcohol provision and relevant services, pathways and conditions.
- Emotional resilience to deal with challenging behaviour and to facilitate ongoing constructive engagement.
- Solid IT skills with the ability to record sound and accurate records in a timely fashion on IT applications such as CHAIN and Inform.
- A commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
- Experience of support planning and risk assessing clients with complex needs, including safeguarding knowledge.
