FINANCE OFFICER

REDBRIDGE CARERS SUPPORT SERVICE (RCSS)

Redbridge Carers Support Service (RCSS) is a leading carers organisation offering a range of innovative, holistic services to carers. We are currently seeking to appoint an accomplished, experienced Finance Officer to join our small charity. You will be working closely with our senior management team and assist in providing proactive, efficient and effective financial management of our charitable resources.

You will play a key role in ensuring internal financial systems and procedures are working efficiently, providing accurate and timely reports, as required. Working closely with senior management, the Finance Officer will take day to day responsibility for the finance function and ensure all financial controls are in place and transactions are managed in accordance with internal policies, relevant financial regulations and funders specifications and requirements.

The role will include the management of financial systems, budget monitoring, updating of records and the preparation of accounts for senior management and the RCSS Board of Trustees. The role will include overseeing compliance with authorisation procedures. You will support the work of the organisation, the Trustees, the Executive Director, the Operational Director and staff, including accounts, payroll, invoices and budgets for core work and projects and for funding bids.

This is a part time post, 18 hours per week, based in Ilford, in the London Borough of Redbridge. Salary: £17,232 p.a. pro rata  (£33,000 FTE)
