As Educational Partnerships Manager, you’ll work across North West and South West London, building partnerships with schools, colleges, youth organisations and community groups—particularly in areas where opportunities are hardest to come by.

Key Responsibilities

The Grants Officer will support the Senior Manager to develop and implement monitoring and reporting
processes across the Foundation’s grant-giving activities. To be successful in the role, you must have

in its reach but will focus on supporting local solutions and grassroots initiatives that young people
develop on the ground. The Officer will play a key role in supporting the Senior Manager to maintain and
grow Big 6 advocacy and partnerships for the short and long-term. This role will also work closely with
colleagues from the Operations and Finance team to ensure accurate information is delivered to key
stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities 

Youth Empowerment Fund (60%):

• Support the monitoring and reporting of the EU funded YEF programme. Including coordinationwithin the IAF and with the Big 6 designated leads.
• Communicating with and activating networks of national organizations to participate in the YEF,including sharing opportunities to take part in Big 6 advocacy activities and applying for youthled solutions open-call Local Solutions grants.
• Issuing of grants to successful national organizations and monitoring and evaluation, including regular reporting on outcomes and impact of national projects to the YEF project team.
• Sharing success stories from the YEF to support the Big 6 communication, storytelling and creative reporting efforts.

Other Grant based support (40%):

Prospectus is pleased to support our client, a charity dedicated to helping people experiencing homelessness through training and meaningful work opportunities. They are seeking a temporary Finance Assistant, expected to start on Monday, 16th June, on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). The role offers flexible working hours between 8am and 6pm, with the option to distribute hours across Monday to Saturday to suit, with a standard 30-minute lunch break. This is a fully onsite role based in Plumstead, near Woolwich, and will continue on a temporary basis while the charity recruits for the position permanently. Please note that the role will be paid on an hourly basis through the agency, with payment made via weekly timesheets, and the hourly rate will be equivalent to the annual salary offered, which falls within a salary bracket depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Process invoices, expenses, and payments promptly using QuickBooks and other systems
• Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile bank accounts, and manage supplier and customer accounts
• Set up and process electronic payments
• Handle income, donations, payroll inputs, HMRC payments, and credit control
• Provide first-line finance and administrative support across the organisation
• Prepare financial reports, support audits, and ensure adherence to financial procedures
• Assist with small projects and contribute to improving finance processes

Requirements:
 

• Confident in processing financial transactions with essential experience using QuickBooks
• Experience and confident in setting up and making electronic payments
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and communication skills
• Reliable, consistent, and methodical in your approach
• The ability to work independently after initial training
• Comfortable working under pressure and in a people-facing environment, with strong customer service and problem-solving skills

Our partner, an international charity, is looking to recruit an experienced analyst with a background in finance business partnering. The successful candidate will be joining the organisation during an interesting period, and be curious, with a strong analytical mind and ability to interpret financial information, and be articulate. 

Responsibilities

• Ensure that there is a sound understanding of business areas in terms of both present as well as forecasted performance.
• Work with budget holders on the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring that any advice/support in understanding the numbers is provided in a timely manner, and that they and senior management are supported in their decision making.
• Lead on the preparation of the quarterly forecasts.
• Undertake budgetary versus actual expenditure analysis, providing reports and meaningful information to budget holders and senior finance team members.
• Support in developing project budgets on a full cost recovery basis, and in the preparation of donor report.
• Support in undertaking grant reconciliations.
• Offer coaching and training as required.

Requirements

• Experienced finance professional, highly numerate and analytical, able to understand the business and strategic outlook of the organisation, able to interpret financial information and communicate this clearly and precisely.
• Experience in developing budgets & forecasts, and undertaking and presenting analysis, both in writing and verbally.
• Strong communication and finance business partnering skills – able to accurately and precisely communicate important financial information to non-finance budget holders, and senior management staff, challenge numbers and support in sound decision making.
• Experience of working in an international organisation, in a multi-currency environment, and with colleagues based globally.
• Experience in the financial management of grants, including developing budgets for proposals (on a full cost recovery basis), and reporting for donors is strongly desirable.
• Strong systems/IT skills
• Experience in offering coaching on internal controls & processes, budgets & accompanying analysis, and systems/IT.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Senior Data and Insights Officer you will work with the Chief Impact Officer, within our Impact Team. Responsiblities will include: 

Database Usage and Reporting

• Support our Salesforce Lead in creating reports and dashboards, ensuring all data is relevant, accurate and secure.  
• Use our database management system to generate reports and data analysis for the Senior Management Team, and other internal colleagues, to support marketing campaigns, fundraising campaigns, statutory information requests and organisational insight.
• Enhance our data analysis and reporting by developing predictive modelling and exploring statistical significance of our findings.
• Prepare reports for college partners, funders, and the Board, which set out our data, findings and impact,
• Confidently write about insights and findings from our data, generating learnings and recommendations for the organisation and other stakeholders.

Internal and External Evaluations

• Support the Chief Impact Officer in developing assessment frameworks to robustly measure our impact and designing dissemination plans, to best harness and communicate that impact.
• Oversee and implement internal evaluation activity, for example, finalising student surveys, focus group and interview tools.
• Review and enhance data collection tools, process, analysis, and reporting.
• Undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis of our evaluation data; and use the data to make recommendations to improve programme quality.
• Review and keep abreast of literature and research in the further education, wider education, tuition and research landscape. You will share and apply learnings to our evaluation processes and programme delivery.

 Data Quality and Assurance

• Support our ongoing compliance with GDPR across the organisation, ensuring that our data is robust, accurate and proportionate to the needs of the organisation.
