We are seeking a proactive, confident and dynamic individual with experience in Community and Events Fundraising who shares our values as an organisation and is driven to make a difference. Your role will play a vital part in our Fundraising team and help us to deliver our aim of empowering survivors of modern slavery.
Position: Community Fundraising and Events Manager
Salary: £27,000 to £28,000 per annum, pro rata, pension paid at 4% contribution

- Leading on the delivery of existing fundraising events as well as developing and delivering future events.
- Working closely with the Donor Relations and Communications Manager to create engaging marketing initiatives for events and community fundraising.
- Working with the Snowdrop Team to make an impact in our community, contributing to the development and success of the organisation.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high level secretariat support for the end to end cycle of meetings and activity within your allocated RBL committees, sub committees and UK and overseas subsidiaries. Working in a small and tight knit team, this role supports the wide range of activities forming the engine room of RBL’s corporate governance. It will bring you into contact with a large variety of stakeholders at all levels around the organisation so being an effective and confident communicator is key.
Reporting to and working closely with our Governance Manager, you will provide cross committee governance cover, enabling the efficient running of meetings through the year including at Annual Conference and assisting in election processes for National Officers, Trustees and Membership Council.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Arrange agendas, collate papers, attend and minute committee meetings, and liaise with Chairs of committees to achieve a high-performance governance process
- Ensure meeting minutes actions are recorded and completed in a timely fashion and are maintained on the board platform
- Work closely with Executive Directors and paper authors to ensure reports are received in a timely fashion and contain consistent quality
- Work with the Governance Support Officer to ensure the effective organisation of subsidiary and committee meetings of the Board including dates and times, venue, attendees, agendas, minutes, action logs, and the cycle of pre and post committee meetings with the Chairs
- Support the Trustees and Executive Board in the smooth running of the governance of the RBL Annual Conference by attending for the duration of the conference weekend and providing governance support in preparation for the Annual Conference

The Role

Manage events and budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and maximum ROI.
You will manage an administrator and be supported by a strong team of fundraisers, a marketing department set up to support the development of community activity.
The Candidate
Experience in event management, ideally within the charity or community sector.
Strong fundraising knowledge and experience in income generating events and techniques both physical and through digital channels.

As the key representative and ambassador for rent and service charges for our client's business, you will manage key processes and stakeholder relationships. Working within the Finance directorate of around 60 people, you will manage a small team and will contribute to the strategic direction of the function.
Within this position you will provide an expert advisory service to both service owners and budget holders, ensuring Value for Money for customers whilst maximising rent and service charge recovery for the Group.
- With proven experience from within a rent and service charge management position, you will have strong leasehold and housing legislation knowledge.
- You will have a strong understanding of accounting procedures and processes to enable you to monitor and review service charge recovery for the business.
- You have good overall understanding and experience in working in a Finance team and strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

The Role
As Communications Manager, you will be at the heart of our mission—shaping how we connect with the public, supporters, and stakeholders. Working closely with the Senior Management Team, you’ll lead the development and delivery of impactful communications across digital and traditional platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic communication plans to support our campaigns and initiatives.
- Create engaging content that reflects the diversity of our work and inspires public support.
- Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media and email campaigns.
- Oversee and update our WordPress website to ensure content is current and compelling.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in communications and marketing, ideally within the charity or nonprofit sector.

- Familiarity with the housing or homelessness sector is a plus.

About the Role
As the Corporate Partnerships Team Executive, you will support the delivery of Save the Children's mission through outstanding administrative, financial, project management and fundraising support to the Corporate Partnerships team. This role sits within our Partnerships for Impact function, which catalyses change by partnering with governments, institutions, multilateral agencies, and the private sector.
You will work closely with the Head of Corporate Partnerships, Partner Leads, and wider Partnerships for Impact colleagues to manage team finance and budget processes, ensure visibility of key information, assist managers on corporate partnerships and take on the project management of bespoke activities and initiatives to ensure commitments are met and opportunities for growth are unlocked.
In this role, you will:
• Support the Corporate Partnerships team with day-to-day operations, administration, and project coordination to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Lead on and champion the use of tools such as Salesforce to maintain accurate data and support informed decision-making.
• Build excellent internal relationships across the Corporate and wider Partnerships teams to enhance collaboration and collective success.
• Support Partnership Managers on external partnerships when needed, ensuring commitments are fulfilled while identifying opportunities for new impactful initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities, share best practice and knowledge across the team, and contribute to the development of impactful communications about our work.
• Where required, attend and support external meetings and events, representing Save the Children and supporting strategic objectives.
