The Opportunity
This role at WFN provides an exciting opportunity to lead on the development of our growing Winner Network Development (WND) programme, identified as one of the charity’s key areas for strategic growth and maximised impact over the coming years. We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing communicator who is passionate about conservation and can drive forward and create connections between our global network of over 220 conservationists, fostering knowledge exchange, capacity development and collaboration. As part of this programme the Grants and Network Manager (GNM) will help with delivery of annual thematic training workshops, with opportunity for international travel. The GNM will also assist our Head of Grants (HG) in monitoring our portfolio of active grants, with support from the Grants Assistant (GA). The GNM will also participate in the Whitley Awards application process by helping to screen the grant applications and supporting with due diligence. GRANTS AND NETWORK MANAGER - PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
Essential:
· MSc or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Conservation/ Zoology/ Environmental Science)
· Experience cultivating and managing networks of people, with a proven track record of successful engagement and network growth
· Requisite experience in managing a portfolio of active grants within the environmental NGO sector including ongoing monitoring and evaluation
· Past experience with capacity development initiatives and/or facilitating trainings and events, including organising logistics

About the role
We are seeking a Substance Misuse Worker who has a specialism in mental health and substance use to join our team in Catford. You will be based within a 24 hour service which provides enhanced rehabilitation support to adults who have been diagnosed with severe and enduring mental health, who would benefit from an intensive rehabilitation and recovery-focused approach. Within this role, you will provide specialist knowledge and experience to support the wider team and residents to help them to overcome their personal barriers.
You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills. You will be a specialist in comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of your duties will include:
- Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.
- Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.
- Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.
- Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
- Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning.
About you
We are looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with experience in interventions, and in a similar role. Qualifications are desirable if paired with practical experience which is relevant to this role. We look at individual characteristics with the ability to engage with various people who may not want to receive the support, able to build trusting professional relationships, and able to demonstrate resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive. This is a community-based position working from home but covering the West Midlands: Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire.
Post holders will be expected to undertake holistic assessment of need both remotely (over the telephone and online) and when required in person across their region. You will be expected to work with individuals who may have complex and sometimes challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector, ensuring that support is made available to meet their need through the case working process.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals and will have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of issues affecting the Armed Forces community.
This is home based and the candidate must have their own vehicle for use of traveling around the region covered. Occasional travel to London will be required. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Enhanced DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

CAAS provides an Autism and ADHD Support Service across the 8 boroughs of NW London from our base in Eastcote and offices around London. We offer information, advice, and support to ADHD/Autistic people, their families, and professionals, with the aim of improving quality of life and building neurodivergent-aware communities.

Front of house support and referrals process
The Specialist Adult ADHD/Autism Advisor (SAAA) will be expected to answer both written and telephone enquiries from members of the public about CAAS services, with a warm and welcoming style, so clients feel comfortable to attend our services.
SAAA will be expected to welcome visitors to the centre and provide information about CAAS and The SAAA will provide front-of-house support, welcoming visitors, answering queries, and managing the referrals process, including CRM updates, triage, and liaising with referrers.
CAAS offers a wide range of adult services, so SAAA will be expected to proactively support clients in accessing the appropriate services and provide consistent follow-up and communication.

The duty IGVA will be responsible for carrying out and implementing safety plans and needs and will ensure an effective handover to the over to the relevant GAIA team for ongoing support. The post holder will also empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support. You will ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options. The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors.
As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

About the role
The Support Coach role involves:
- Supporting volunteer facilitators by coaching them through the opportunities, challenges and obstacles of running a Kids Matter programme
- Training and upskilling facilitators by helping run events and develop new resources
- Working with the wider Kids Matter team to encourage and strengthen Kids Matter’s church partnerships
At Kids Matter, we are committed to delivering effective coaching. All Support Coaches are given the opportunity to go through the coaching accreditation process with ICF to become an Associate Certified Coach (ACC). Kids Matter provides the support and supervision for this to take place, and will cover the cost of the accreditation if the individual remains employed as a Support Coach for the two years following applying for accreditation. If the individual leaves before two years, a percentage of the accreditation cost will be required to pay back.
