Job Title: Freelance Facilitator
Reporting to: Senior Programme Lead
Location: Staffordshire, in particular Stafford and surrounding area
Salary: £120 per day (including travel) plus £25 to attend meetings with a school (if required) and £50 for attending half day training or £100 for full day training. Expenses can also be claimed for programme snacks and travel to training.
One-year contracts might also be available.
Power2 is a fast growing and energetic children and young people’s charity that has supported 27,000 young people since 2001. We are seeking Freelance Programme Facilitators to join a pool to deliver our programmes in Staffordshire. Supported by our Programme Development Manager with training and resources you will help children and young people who are experiencing vulnerabilities and disadvantages improve their wellbeing, re-engage with school and learning, build networks and access opportunities.
Programme Facilitators work with significant autonomy and authority. They must embrace responsibility and are accountable for their work. They work collaboratively alongside young people, operating as a mentor as they empower young people to develop self-esteem, become resilient and engage with school and their own future. They give each young person the time, the confidence and skills to engage with their education.
You will work in schools and community settings to support young people and their families to ensure that at-risk children and young people make the most of their potential and improve their life chances. Work will include 1:1 support and delivery of Power2’s core programmes.

1. Introduction
The Parish of St Mary’s and St James, located in NW6, London, is seeking to appoint an experienced fundraising professional to develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy and bid-writing template to support essential large scale capital repair projects at both church buildings.
The appointed consultant will produce a clear, actionable, and sustainable fundraising plan that draws on multiple funding streams — including grants, partnerships, individual giving, digital fundraising, and community events — while ensuring both projects progress cohesively and without internal competition for resources.
2. Project Background
The parish comprises two Grade II listed churches, both of which are active places of worship and important community landmarks within West Hampstead and South Hampstead.
St Mary’s Church
St Mary’s is a Grade II listed building, constructed in 1856-1862, and currently listed on the Historic England “At Risk” Register. The church requires urgent repair works to its spire, estimated at £1.5 million, alongside further essential maintenance identified in the quinquennial inspection. As a historic and much-loved building, St Mary’s preservation is a key priority for the parish and local community.
St James Church
Built in 1887–8 and designed by A.W. Blomfield, St James Church is also Grade II listed. The large red-brick structure, with steeply pitched tiled roofs and Bath stone dressings, is a notable local landmark and the only listed building within the South Hampstead Conservation Area. Camden Council’s Conservation Area Appraisal describes it as “a very important part of the quality and character of the area.”
St James is recognised nationally as a model of how historic churches can be adapted for sustainable use. Reopened in 2014 as The Sherriff Centre, it combines traditional worship with a thriving community and social enterprise hub — including a Post Office, soft play centre, café, retail space, and event venue.
St James now faces essential capital repairs to its roof, guttering, and masonry, as identified by its quinquennial inspection.
Fundraising Objective
Although St Mary’s and St James are distinct buildings, the parish seeks a single, unified fundraising strategy that will enable both capital projects to move forward in tandem, sharing messaging and timelines to avoid competition for funding opportunities.
3. Scope of Work
The consultant will produce a detailed and actionable fundraising strategy and a skeleton bid-writing template to support the parish in delivering its capital repair objectives.
A. Fundraising Strategy
The strategy should cover five core fundraising areas, each with specific recommendations, timelines, and success measures:
- Grant Applications to Trusts and Foundations
	
- Identification of suitable capital funders, including National Lottery Heritage programmes and major charitable trusts.

Role Overview:
Sitopia Farm is seeking a part-time freelance Fundraising Consultant to lead all aspects of fundraising, with a specific focus on securing the £650,000 needed for our eco-barn project. This is a critical role that offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping us bring this vision to life. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in fundraising strategy, grant writing, major donor engagement, and ideally an understanding of capital campaigns. We are seeking a Project Delivery Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of this project. CDMT is the industry body for world-class professional schools, conservatoires and awarding organisations in the performing arts, and we are a strong advocate on behalf of the sector.
The Director of the CDMT plays a strategic role in performing arts training, education and assessment nationally and manages the staff and resources of an organisation of UK-wide standing. The CDMT is financed primarily by membership subscriptions. As this source of income is restricted, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate a strategic business sense and a successful income-driven record that will enable the CDMT to create, diversify and take full advantage of developing opportunities.
The Director must be able to liaise effectively with all sectors of the dance, drama, music and musical theatre education communities. They will have wide knowledge and experience of arts education at all stages of development from entry level, through Further/Higher Education to post-graduate level, and will also require an understanding of qualification frameworks in the UK. Knowledge and experience of inspection and self-assessment mechanisms similar to those operated by the Office for Students, Ofsted and Ofqual, is desirable.

Head of Programmes is a key role with significant scope to grow as the charity evolves. You’ll lead on the day-to-day delivery of our programmes, including our largest single programme, Maths Circles: a small-group-based maths enrichment programme engaging talented young mathematicians nationwide. You will coordinate a large community of volunteers as well as our in-house team of part-time and freelance staff to deliver an excellent experience for students, parents, tutors and partners.
You will need to be genuinely enthusiastic about using our CRM and Google Sheets to track progress and excited about martialling the charity’s data to communicate clearly with colleagues, partners and trustees. You will take ownership of programme reporting and KPIs, using insights to identify and implement delivery improvements and demonstrate impact.
You will communicate regularly with our diverse community – including speaking directly to young people and parents to resolve issues, recruiting and training education professionals and meeting with partners to organise and manage projects. The Development Manager will play a central role in securing income for Stanley Arts through two key areas:
