Portraits of Recovery (PORe) is a pioneering visual arts charity based in Manchester and is the UK’s only visual arts charity inspiring and supporting people affected by and in recovery from substance use. As Deputy Director, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping PORe’s future, ensuring our long-term sustainability, and driving impactful organisational development. You will work closely with the Director & CEO to enhance our operations, administration, and financial management while leading a small team to support the delivery of our Business Plan. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape strategic business processes, contribute to PORe’s artistic programming, and play an integral role in our fundraising efforts. You’ll be looking after a small team, and the administrative, and financial aspects of the organisation. You’ll also be inputting into funding bids, helping with data collection, and coming up with creative commercial opportunities to help us grow. As a new company, this role would be perfect for someone ambitious, looking to help shape and grow our organisation even further.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Director & CEO in strategic, financial, and organisational development.
• Play a senior leadership role, overseeing operations, administration, financial processes, and governance.
• Manage and support a small team to effectively deliver PORe’s Business Plan.
• Ensure efficient business activities, including HR and data collection processes.
• Oversee financial management, including budget control, reporting, and compliance.

About Us

The Advice Services Alliance (ASA) is the umbrella body for the not-for-profit social welfare advice sector in the UK. Our members include national organisations such as Citizens Advice, Age UK, Law Centres Network, Macmillan, and Shelter. We are entering an exciting new phase of strategic development, expanding our impact across the sector and working to ensure advice services are high-quality, sustainable, and accessible to those who need them most.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and organised Project Manager to lead the AQS Access Pathway Project, funded by City Bridge Foundation. This newly created role will be responsible for redesigning and updating the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) and developing a new progression-based Access Pathway for advice services.

This is a fixed-term role, with funding secured for a minimum of 36 months. You will work closely with our Deputy Director and a wide range of stakeholders to successfully deliver a new version of AQS and its accompanying framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and deliver the AQS Access Pathway Project in collaboration with the ASA Deputy Director.

• Convene and facilitate a Project Advisory Group comprising ASA members and key stakeholders.

• Engage with external stakeholders including auditing and accrediting bodies such as AgeUK, Citizens Advice, Welsh Government, and the Money and Pensions Service.

• Promote and communicate the project to advice services, funders, and wider voluntary sector audiences.

• Oversee project monitoring and evaluation, including data collection and reporting to ASA’s Board and funders.

• Support budget tracking and financial reporting in collaboration with senior leadership.

• Actively recruit new services to engage with AQS and promote interest in quality assurance across the sector.

• Undertake other duties as required to support successful delivery and integration of the project.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Commitment to social justice, human rights, and equitable access to advice services.

• Demonstrable project management experience, from design through to delivery.

• Strong understanding of quality assurance frameworks and their impact on client outcomes.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Knowledge of the social welfare legal advice sector and challenges faced by frontline organisations.

Overview  

At Young Roots, we want to see a compassionate and welcoming society for young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. We work alongside young people seeking safety in the UK, building trusted relationships, providing practical and emotional support and promoting young people’s rights and power.   

Our youth clubs and casework are transformative for young refugees, allowing young people who have fled danger, had traumatic journeys and who are often here alone, to find community and connection, have a space to be a young person and access support in addressing a whole range of practical challenges they face. We also draw on our evidence from working every day with young refugees and asylum seekers to call for change to the laws and policies which are harming young people.  

The Youth Development Coordinator is responsible for the development and delivery of our youth development programme for young refugees and asylum seekers. 

You will be focused on ensuring our programme activities achieve our outcomes, are in line with our strategy and identify areas for change and development under the direction of the Head of Services. An excellent communicator and skilled at working with partners, you will be key in the implementation and running all of our weekly youth activities, including a Youth Club and Advice and Support Hub working closely with the Youth Development Worker and having oversight of our weekly Young Women’s group. 

As an experienced manager, you will lead our team of skilled youth workers, working alongside the Brent team to provide holistic support to young asylum seekers and refugees in Brent.  

You will prioritise the participation of young people in all activities, ensuring excellent safeguarding by following our policy and protocols, and ensure that we collect excellent data for monitoring and evaluation and to aid our future planning. You will also assist with staff and volunteer recruitment and reporting to our funding partners. 

The Youth Development Coordinator will hold a Designated Safeguarding Officer role at Young Roots for which they will receive full training.

This role will be located at Battersea Old Windsor or Battersea London with regular travel to Old Windsor.

The Capital Project Manager will be responsible for leading a £4-5M project that will build a new Cattery facility at our Battersea Old Windsor site. The role will oversee all aspects of the project to ensure the capital project is completed on time, within budget and to the required standards and design. This will include working with colleagues in Animal Care, Infrastructure and Income Generation teams to ensure the project has appropriate funding, the design and build of the cattery meets Battersea’s strategic and operational requirements and that the operational impact of the construction is effectively managed to minimise the impact to dogs and cats across our centres during the works.

Through the appointment of a Strategic Programme Director (SPD), we have been given an opportunity to bring a step change in our mission and ministry across the Diocese of Coventry.  With a history of innovative missional practice and a dedicated team of lay and ordained leaders across our diverse geographical area (Warwickshire, Coventry and part of Solihull), we are looking to appoint a strategic thinker who is solutions focused with experience in bringing impactful change. The SPD will join us at an exciting time in the strategic development of the Diocese of Coventry as our new diocesan bishop takes up her responsibilities with a vision to see all churches flourish. A highly consultative approach will be needed as we look ahead to the beginning of this new season.

The Strategic Programme Director will be responsible for contributing to and supporting the Bishop’s Senior Staff Team and key lay and ordained leaders in the delivery of the diocesan strategy. The role will ensure that the programmes, projects and workstreams within the plan are delivered on time, within scope and budget. The Programme Director will provide oversight of the strategic plan from inception of ideas through implementation to delivery of projects.  Working collaboratively across the Diocese, the role will also ensure that key outcomes are well-defined, appropriately prioritised, delivered to plan and within budget. The role will include shaping and scoping the request for partnership/external funding.

Programme Development & Planning

• In the first year: To prioritise the clear articulation of a diocesan wide vision and direction of travel through working closely with the Bishop and the Bishop’s Senior Staff Team building on the work achieved in recent years.
• Work with key stakeholders to develop strategic initiatives aligned with the diocesan vision and strategy
• Ensure strategic proposals have clarity and viability
• Ensure effective communication with clarity, consistency and transparency
• Work with senior leaders to prioritise outline proposals
• Work with senior leaders to develop change proposals including detailed outcomes and the process by which those outcomes will be achieved

fundraising performance across a range of income streams. The post holder will lead
the development and delivery of an ambitious and data driven fundraising strategy

Leadership
• Champion fundraising across the organisation.
• Be an inspiring ambassador for Weston Park Cancer Charity and ensure this

• Lead the development and delivery of an ambitious and data driven
fundraising strategy across a range of income streams to successfully deliver
the charity’s vision.
• Build and inspire a high-performing and results-oriented Fundraising Team
focused on delivering sustainable income to maintain and build on recent
organisational growth.

Ensure that fundraising is supported by appropriate business/activity plans,
and sound financial plans and budgets; and that performance is regularly
monitored and evaluated against plans and budgets.
• Set, monitor, and deliver annual income and expenditure targets in line with
our ambitious plan to grow income.
• Foster a culture of ambition and innovation and support the team to
research, develop, and implement new fundraising approaches to recruit

and delivers the highest standard of supporter care and donor stewardship.
• Lead the fundraising team to focus on deepening and strengthening existing
relationships and building a strong pipeline of new prospects to deliver multiyear
funding from major donors, high profile supporters, trusts, foundations,
and companies.
• Champion the adoption and use of Raisers Edge NXT CRM to effectively
support data-driven decision making and relationship management to
generate supporter insights in support of increased fundraising.
Brand and Marketing
• Working in collaboration with the Deputy CEO, Marketing Manager and
external agencies in the development and delivery of an integrated
marketing and communications strategy that is driven by audience insight.

• Foster a strong working relationship between the fundraising and marketing
team to inspire high-performance and results-oriented marketing.
• Build a community of supporters by delivering a seamless supporter journey
that promotes the charity’s work and delivers greater income generation.
• Empower the fundraising team to successfully deploy our brand.
• Work in partnership with the Marketing Manager to ensure content is up to
date, factually accurate and to manage reputational risk.
People Management
• Create a high-performing team that is ambitious and passionate about

For over 130 years, our historic home at 14 Bride Lane has been more than just a building – it has been a beacon for creativity, learning, and community engagement, standing as a testament to London's rich printing heritage.

As the home of print and type design on Fleet Street, the Foundation cares for an internationally significant collection celebrating the history of print, graphic design and typography.

Our Grade II listed Victorian building is home to the Bridewell Theatre, a vibrant 130-seater fringe theatre and a hands-on print workshop. St Bride Foundation (SBF) is seeking a Collections and Archives Manager with strong project management and collections management skills to support the development, preservation, and accessibility of our library and archive collections. The Collections and Archives Manager will manage the smooth running of the Reading Room, library enquiry services and manage our library volunteers.

Working as part of a small team, the role will involve helping to develop and deliver aspects of the learning programme, especially those relating to engagement with the collections through activities including tours, talks and exhibitions.  

The Collections and Archives Manager will work closely with the Foundation Librarian to oversee library and archival operations, and develop policies to improve storage, accessibility, and preservation.

As part of our wider strategic plans this role is pivotal in ensuring the safe relocation of collection materials, implementing best practices in storage and conservation, and enhancing the long-term sustainability of our holdings.

Key Responsibilities

Access, Research & Stakeholder Engagement

• Support public and internal access to collection materials by providing research services and developing user-friendly finding aids.

Project Management – Collection

• Oversee cataloging, metadata creation, and collections documentation.
•  Manage digital preservation strategies and support digitisation projects to increase access to collections.

Outreach, Engagement & Advocacy

• Contribute to learning and engagement programs, including talks, tours, workshops, exhibitions, and digital content—that promote engagement with the collections across diverse audiences.
•  Collaborate with institutions, community partners, and funding bodies to support and develop collections-based projects such as research projects, youth programmes and oral histories.
•  Work with the wider team to share stories from the collections to support advocacy, fundraising, and awareness campaigns.

Policy & Funding

• Assist in policy development regarding collections management.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity supports the hospital by funding groundbreaking research, cutting-edge medical equipment, child-centred facilities and life-changing support.

The Grant Operations Manager, part of the Impact and Charitable Programmes Department, will oversee the business-critical grant operations within the Grant Funding team. They will ensure there is robust decision making, effective processes to select and award the most impactful projects and programmes, and will enable the monitoring of outputs, outcomes and impact against the department strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Grant Governance and Compliance: Lead long-range grant governance planning for the team, oversee committees, review and refresh policies, ensure grant funding processes meet required standards, such as GDPR, and manage external audits.
