About the role

This Best Companies Top 50 mid-sized company and Top10 charity is looking to appoint a Trust Fundraiser (3 days per week) to manage and build relationships with charitable trusts and foundations, raising the funds we need to deliver and grow our support services.

Our Philanthropy Team is an ambitious team with a well-established fundraising programme, playing a significant role in raising the £5.7m a year to fund our support services and with plans to grow income over the next 3-5 years. We have an established portfolio of funders, giving low level gifts to six figure donations and you will have the opportunity to work on large applications.

The Trust Fundraiser will work closely with the Philanthropy Manager to drive Rainbow Trust’s Trusts & Foundations fundraising programme. You will cultivate strong working relationships with a portfolio of trust and foundation supporters, increasing their engagement and support of the charity, through reports, meetings and phone calls. Through the identification and research of new prospective trust funders, you will find creative ways to engage with them to secure funding.

Location: Leatherhead, Surrey (some working from home options)

What we’re looking for:

· Excellent research and writing skills, preferably with experience of successfully securing four- or five-figure gifts from charitable trusts and foundations

· The ability to work effectively with a range of internal and external people – including trust managers and trustees to build great relationships and influence

· Knowledge of the requirements of trust funders, the principles of application-writing and effective project reporting and of managing a funding portfolio or similar

· A persuasive and open communicator - the ability to develop and submit high-quality and compelling funding proposals and reports to trusts, working closely with colleagues across the charity

· Committed to providing the highest level of donor care, including creative stewardship for funders, meeting all grant terms and conditions and responding effectively and promptly to enquiries received from donors, funders and prospects.

We’re looking for an  enthusiastic and passionate experienced Corporate and Community Fundraiser to play a key role in the growth of our corporate and community income and develop new partners. This brand new role will develop fundraising opportunities with businesses and  community groups, helping to broaden our supporter base and strengthen long-term relationships.

Key responsibilities

Corporate Fundraising

● Develop and implement a plan to raise funds from companies (this could be nationwide or within local project areas) with the Head of Fundraising and Comms

● Research corporate fundraising opportunities and develop a pipeline of prospects

● Approach new businesses to financially support Bags of Taste through presentations, applications, pitches and proposals

● Devise partnership opportunities where required eg volunteering days/fundraising ideas

● Work across the organisation to develop leads via staff, Directors and volunteers

● Account manage all corporate supporters in order to develop strong long-term relationships

● Attend networking events to develop new leads.

Community Fundraising

● Develop and implement a plan to raise funds from community groups. This could include events, peer to peer fundraising or volunteer led activity

● Provide guidance, resources, and encouragement to community fundraisersto help maximise their fundraising efforts.

● Attend networking events where needed.

Relationship Development and Stewardship

● Build and develop relationships with all corporate and community partners

● Develop fundraising tools and guidance for all supporters

● Ensure excellent stewardship for all partners in order to build strong, long term relationships. This includes good recognition and communication (reporting and updating).

Administration

● Prepare budgets where needed, track income and forecasts

● A minimum of  2 years of experience managing all aspects of corporate fundraising within a charity (including experience of securing new business, account management and stewardship)

The Role

Having launched our Youth Adventure Programmes in Somerset in 2024, we are now looking for somebody who wants to take the next step in their fundraising career to build on the foundations of the last two years and significantly increase our presence in the county. 

As our Regional Corporate Fundraiser,  you'll be the driving force behind our local business partnerships, working with both large companies operating in the region and smaller local businesses looking to support their communities. 

Your role will encompass:

• Relationship building: Identifying and securing new corporate partnerships while providing high-quality stewardship to our existing Somerset-based supporters.

• Community Engagement: Championing our work in Somerset by giving engaging talks to community groups and networking with local businesses.

At the Youth Adventure Trust, we use outdoor adventure to empower vulnerable young people from Swindon, Wiltshire and Somerset to fulfil their potential and lead positive lives in the future. Supporter Care and Engagement Fundraiser

We are seeking a motivated and organised Supporter Care and Engagement Fundraiser to help deliver an outstanding supporter journey for a national children’s charity.

Position: Supporter Care and Engagement Fundraiser
Salary: £27,285 per annum
Location: Remote, with options to work from offices in Cornwall, Derbyshire or London
Hours: Full time, flexible options may be available
Contract: Permanent

About the Role

This is a key frontline role within a driven and collaborative Fundraising and Communications team. You will play an essential part in delivering excellent supporter care, managing fundraising systems and strengthening engagement across the charity’s growing supporter base.

Working closely with the Supporter Engagement and Fundraising Manager, you will help deliver an ambitious fundraising strategy, ensuring supporters receive a positive, consistent and engaging experience at every touchpoint.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as the first point of contact for supporter enquiries via phone, email and post
• Managing the fundraising inbox and responding to requests from individuals and organisations
• Processing and recording donations accurately, including Gift Aid compliance
• Supporting personalised acknowledgement and stewardship of donors
• Maintaining and updating the CRM system, including The Raiser’s Edge
• Producing reports and supporting fundraising appeals through data segmentation and analysis
• Supporting individual fundraisers and challenge events participants
• Assisting with fundraising campaigns, appeals and donor events
• Contributing to the production of fundraising and marketing materials
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems and automate processes

You will also support the wider day to day operations of the Fundraising and Communications function, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.

About You

You will be confident working with data and CRM systems and motivated by delivering excellent supporter experiences.

You will bring:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in fundraising, events, business development or supporter care
• Experience of working with a donor database, ideally The Raiser’s Edge
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
• A proactive and positive approach
• The ability to work collaboratively within a small team

ROLDA (Romanian League in Defence of Animals) is an international animal welfare charity working to improve the lives of dogs, cats and other vulnerable animals in Romania and beyond. Since 2006, ROLDA has rescued tens of thousands of animals, built shelters, delivered large-scale neutering programmes, supported partner rescuers, and driven education initiatives to address the root causes of animal suffering.

We are now seeking an experienced UK-based fundraiser to help grow individual giving, higher value support and legacy income, while working collaboratively with our colleagues in the US and Australia

This is a hands-on fundraising role focused on developing supporter relationships and growing income from individuals. You will play a key part in strengthening donor journeys, stewarding higher value supporters, promoting legacy giving, and supporting sensitive supporter communications.

You’ll be expected to work towards agreed income targets and contribute to the growth of sustainable UK fundraising, while helping align activity internationally.

This role suits someone who enjoys developing fundraising activity from the ground up, building supporter relationships, and working independently in a small charity environment — and who is genuinely motivated by bringing in income: someone practical, action-oriented, and comfortable turning plans into results.

Key Responsibilities

Individual Giving & Supporter Engagement

• Develop and deliver individual giving activity, supporting donor acquisition, retention and engagement
• Help design and improve supporter journeys and communications
• Draft compelling donor communications, appeals and fundraising materials

Higher Value Giving & Major Donors

• Support identification, cultivation and stewardship of higher value and major donors
• Build warm, authentic relationships with supporters
• Assist with donor meetings, follow-ups and personalised communications

Legacy Fundraising

• Support and grow ROLDA’s legacy programme
• Help develop legacy messaging and supporter materials
• Respond sensitively to legacy enquiries and supporter questions

Corporate & Community Fundraising

• Support the development of corporate and community fundraising activity in the UK, working collaboratively with other UK team members.
• Help identify and progress potential corporate partnerships, employee fundraising opportunities and community-led initiatives.
•  Provide fundraising support and materials to UK volunteers and supporters running their own events or activities.
• Contribute ideas and practical support to grow these income streams over time

Income Generation & Targets

• · Work towards agreed income targets and fundraising objectives
• · Contribute to fundraising plans and pipeline development
• · Track activity and results, reporting progress regularly

Communications & Representation

• Act as a key point of contact for supporter communications
• Help guide responses to sensitive supporter or public enquiries
• Provide fundraising input into communications and media responses when needed.

​Collaboration

• Work closely with fundraising colleagues in the UK, US and Australia
• Collaborate with leadership on fundraising priorities and strategy
• Share learning and insight across teams

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Strong experience in individual giving, including supporter engagement and retention
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for donor communications
• Experience working towards income targets
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong organisational and relationship-building skills
• Confidence handling sensitive supporter communications

Desirable:

• Experience with higher value or major donors
• Knowledge of legacy fundraising
• Experience working with international teams or charities.
