You will be responsible for any legacy administration, working alongside internal and external parties to ensure that all estates are correctly administered, and that we realise the full value of the legacies left to Cure Parkinson’s.
You will be working with supporters to answer their questions about legacy and in-memory giving, and working with the next of kin to ensure that their loved one's legacy is cherished.
We are looking for a creative thinker that has enthusiasm and motivation to lead these areas of work. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as being a collaborative team member. You will be supported by the Head of Public Fundraising to achieve transformational results across Individual Giving and Legacies. And ultimately you will be contributing towards changing the future for people living with Parkinson’s across the world.
Everything we do is to move us closer to our goal, of finding new treatments to slow, stop or reverse the progression of Parkinson’s.

Purpose of the Community Fundraising Officer role:
As Community Fundraising Officer, the successful candidate will play an integral role in nurturing relationships with existing and prospective supporters, as well as overseeing a portfolio of community fundraising events and activities in order to increase donations. Attending fundraising events and networking will be a key part of the role, paired with a thorough understanding of Women’s Aid work, business plans and strategic priorities.
Key duties and responsibilities of the Community Fundraising Officer:
- To be responsible for a rolling calendar of events and activities. Providing fundraisers with tailored stewardship, resources, ideas and recognition for their event to maximise income and cultivate them to become a long-term supporter of Women’s Aid.
- To assist with the development and production of a range of fundraising stewardship materials including posters, our fundraising newsletter and annual thank you to donors.
- To work closely with key internal stakeholders both to understand and be able to package up their work into clear compelling asks for all stewardship documents.
- To ensure appropriate means of monitoring and evaluation of fundraising events and activities are established to feed into the fundraising team’s KPIs.
- To use the fundraising database to produce reports and analyse success rates, to feed into the fundraising strategy.
- To take responsibility for purchasing places for events through raising Purchase Orders and invoices where appropriate.
- To develop and manage relationships with fundraisers, encouraging the to become long term supporters of Women’s Aid.
What we are looking for in our Community Fundraising Officer:
- Knowledge of feminism, domestic abuse and the role of Women’s Aid
- Understanding of social media channels and their audiences
- Experience of using a CRM
- Fundraising background with proven experience of having met/exceeded targets
- Excellent computer and written skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships

About You:

About the role
Right now, the Partnerships and National Engagement Team is in an incredibly exciting period of growth, as Partnerships Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in building new transformational partnerships which support Crisis new ten-year strategy.
Working as part of a friendly and enthusiastic team you will be you will be responsible for identifying, nurturing and developing a robust pipeline of new partnerships, with value-aligned businesses, developing opportunities for us to work together to help us end homelessness in the UK.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly motivated, target-driven fundraiser who relishes the opportunity to develop innovative, creative, and strategic corporate partnerships. You will have a track record of pitching, securing, managing, and growing six and seven figure partnerships in the third (or equivalent) sector, coupled with excellent relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders. About the charity: Cavernomas look like raspberries and are found in the brain and spinal cord. They're formed of abnormal blood vessels with thin leaky walls, which can bleed at any age without warning. 1 in 625 people are thought to have a cavernoma, and whilst most people won't experience symptoms 1 in 2,700 do. Symptoms can include haemorrhages, seizures and other neurological problems. Treatment involves 'wait and see', neurosurgery or stereotactic radiosurgery; with no medications currently available.

About the roles: The Member Support Assistant is responsible for assisting our Volunteer Manager with administration relating to the support of the charity’s 4,000 members and volunteers. The role involves supporting the membership and volunteering processes, ensuring all admin is accurate and up to date. About the role
As the new Community and Events Fundraising Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing The Passage's Community Fundraising strategy, designed to inspire and engage both existing and new supporters, ultimately building a stable and sustainable income pipeline.

Every year in the UK, around 100 children are diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that mostly affects children under five. The role
The Senior Fundraising Officer is responsible for managing our portfolio of events and liaising with our community fundraisers to maximise their fundraising, as well as managing our individual supporters and managing fundraising admin across multiple areas. A key part of the role is ensuring our fundraising is compliant and developing strong relationships with our fundraisers.
The charity has a small team so everyone helps with thanking and banking, database management and administrative tasks and this role gives you the opportunity to have lots of autonomy and creative freedom in developing our fundraising.

About the role
Our dedicated team moderates our full-service accounts (all organic content and paid ads) as well as one-off campaigns and appeals for some of the most recognisable charities in the sector.
This role is perfect for skilled comms experts who can provide excellent supporter care and is best suited as an additional source of income (the majority of our team are freelancers and consultants). You must be able to begin moderation at 9 am (or earlier), wrap up by 9 pm and adhere to our sub-three-hour response time.
Our moderators must have a minimum of three years’ in-house, third-sector comms experience.

Our moderation takes place between 9 am and 9 pm, Monday-Sunday.
Different accounts will require varying levels of ‘active’ hours (defined as time spent taking action). You will split your active hours between 9am and 9pm. For example, for an account which requires three active hours, you might carry out your work in six, thirty minute instalments throughout the shift.
As you gain experience, you will be allocated multiple accounts which will enable you to increase your hours worked.
Whilst you need to be on hand to monitor your accounts during 9am-9pm, the role does allow for a great deal of personal flexibility.
