Established in 2000, our services range from grant and contract bid writing and review, to developing fundraising strategies, developing M&E frameworks and undertaking project and programme evaluations. We also offer a range of strategic support, mentoring and training. We are seeking an exceptional fundraiser who can offer a strong track record of driving organisational growth in the voluntary sector. Multi-year experience in two or more of the following core service areas is essential:
- Achieving major grant funding from trusts, foundations, lottery distributors, public sector agencies or similar.
- Planning and developing successful contract tender submissions.
- Planning and developing successful fundraising strategies and action plans.
- Major Donor, Legacy or Corporate fundraising strategy and delivery
The role is varied and interesting - managing a portfolio of clients and supporting them directly or strategically with their fundraising, impact evaluation and organisational development. Our consultants are all employees and we work closely together as a supportive team, sharing and developing skills and knowledge. We anticipate the appointee may not hold experience across all core areas of our services. We will enable the appointee to focus on projects that play to their strengths and experience and provide further support and training as necessary.
Based from home (must be UK resident), with ad hoc client and team meetings/socials (all travel paid), mostly within England. All IT equipment provided. Full-time or part-time (minimum 0.8 FTE - 28 hrs).

General Overview of Role
The post-holder will be responsible for writing bid applications within Combat Stress. This will include:
- Support the development and delivery of Combat Stress's bid writing under the leadership of the Director of Fundraising (DoF) and Head of Trusts and Foundations (HTF), in order to support our role as a specialist UK-wide provider of mental health services to veterans with complex mental health needs.
- With guidance and support from DoF and HoTF contribute to the various stages of a bid or tender process.
- Support the team in managing service contracts.
- Ensure compliance with the business development framework and governance processes - with support from DoF and HoTF.
Main Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Complete bid writing in support of the business development agenda of Combat Stress, working with all departments in promoting our services to attract new business and supporting cost-effective service delivery.
- Contribute to our revenue generation agenda by owning and contributing to bid documents such as mobilisation or communication plans.
- Support the assessment of the healthcare market within which we operate, to ensure we are best placed to achieve growth and have the appropriate strategies to mitigate risks
- Support the development, monitoring and delivery of business developments plans, systems and processes in line with our strategy and targets
- Work across departments in order to adhere to the full service specification of the bid or tender.
- Work with the DoF to develop existing partnership arrangements and to develop the case to support new service and business partnerships, commercial ventures, and creative contract solutions to further our strategic aims.
- Manage the "bid/no bid" process to lead our responses to ITTs, lead on bid writing and project management of bid submissions
- Produce reports and proposals, including spreadsheets, involve bids for additional funding from commissioners.
- Review and refine all business development processes and templates to maintain "fit for purpose"
Contract Management
- Assist with the development, monitoring, management, and review of contracts.
Communication
- Contribute to the communication strategy within and external to the Charity
- Support the team on any other projects as requested by the DoF
General responsibilities
- Ensure data collection in general is kept up to date, in accordance with legislation and the policies of the Charity, and incident reports are completed in accordance with the policies of the Charity.
- We reserve the right to ask you from time to time to undertake any other reasonable duties as required within this role.
Risk Management
- As an employee of the Charity, the postholder is required to be risk aware and readily able to identify risks faced in the course of day-to-day duties. Where a new risk is identified it is to be reported through the postholder's line manager

Luminary Ltd provides training, employment and community to some of the most disadvantaged women in London. We use baking as a tool to guide women towards employability and independence. We work alongside women who have experienced gender-based violence and live with ‘multiple disadvantage’. The role
Luminary is entering an exciting phase in its development, transitioning from a small, founder-led start-up into a medium-sized charity. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a fundraising strategy to define and meet annual income targets from various income streams, identifying opportunities for income growth.

Five years + experience in fundraising contributing to strategy as well as delivery.
Demonstrated success in fundraising with a proven track record of securing significant income from trusts and foundations, and/or major donors and corporate partners.
Skilled in relationship-based fundraising with experience of donor cultivation and stewardship to secure long-term partnerships.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop compelling funding proposals, persuasive pitches and impactful reports.
Experience in financial planning including creating and managing budgets, and financial analysis skills to track and report income performance.

Legacy Stewardship Manager

The Legacy Stewardship Manager will plan and deliver an ambitious new legacy stewardship strategy to bring about growth in future legacy income. It will diversify the current legacy stewardship programme to convert more legacy prospects and maintain more pledgers using a combination of relationship and mass fundraising activities. It will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality communications and experiences which make supporters feel inspired, valued and deepen relationships with them over the long-term.
This role is critical in growing future legacy income for RNID, which currently represents 72% of RNID’s income. It will play a pivotal role in a Legacy Fundraising Team of four people, reporting into the Head of Legacies, working alongside the Legacy Marketing Manager and line managing the Gifts in Wills Specialist Officer.
This role is a new addition to a growing team in an organisation where legacy fundraising has a high profile. It is an ideal next step for an experienced and confident legacy fundraiser wanting to make their mark by growing the legacy stewardship programme to a new ambitious level that matches an increased investment in legacy acquisition.
You’re an experienced and ambitious legacy fundraiser with the ability to think strategically as well as deliver a full and varied programme of operational activity. · Educating and training colleagues to confidently support legacy fundraising activities.
· Line managing and developing the Gifts in Wills Relationship Officer.
· Working with the Head of Legacies, contributing to annual operational planning, budget setting, phasing, reforecasting and contingency planning.

About the Role
As a Face-to-Face Fundraising Area Manager, you'll lead and inspire a team of membership fundraisers based primarily in Essex and North London, with coverage across this vibrant area. Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client in their search for a Philanthropy Lead. The organisation goes above and beyond for everyone affected by pancreatic cancer. They bring more change through campaigning, more breakthroughs through research and more support through expert nurses.
This is a full-time, permanent role paying a salary of £56,256 per annum and the postholder will be working in a hybrid model from their offices in London.
The Philanthropy Lead will be leading the development and delivery of the philanthropy growth strategy. You will work with senior leadership, Trustees and senior volunteers to build meaningful relationships, cultivate 6-7 figure gifts and deliver an excellent stewardship experience.
They are looking for candidates with proven experience as a philanthropy fundraiser, with a strong track record of securing 6-figure gifts from philanthropic supporters. You will also have demonstrable experience of developing the skills of a fundraising team and of building and delivering a major donor fundraising growth strategy.

Role Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, fundraiser who is target driven, to apply for a new role, Philanthropy Development Manager, to lead a step-change in member giving. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of philanthropic giving at the Goldsmiths’ Company. The postholder will develop and implement strategies to double the amount individual members give each year for the next three years. In doing this they will work with the Goldsmiths’ Foundation to harness the power of community, connection, and purpose-driven philanthropy. This role is ideal for a confident relationship-builder, communicator and fundraiser who can develop compelling cases for support, segment and engage diverse supporter groups, and deliver targeted campaigns that inspire generosity. They will need to relish the opportunity to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders across the organisation and enjoy the challenge of working to achieve a significant new fundraising target. The role is part of the membership team and will collaborate closely across teams in the institution, particularly the Goldsmiths’ Foundation, Finance and Communications.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and deliver a multi-year strategy to grow member giving, with a focus on significantly increasing contributions within a defined timeframe.
· Analyse current giving trends and segment the membership to identify opportunities for tailored engagement and stewardship.
· Develop and manage campaigns, appeals, events, and digital communications that strengthen donor relationships and drive income.
· Build personal relationships with high-potential donors.
· Collaborate with Communications and other teams to align philanthropic messaging with the Goldsmiths’ Foundation’s impact and values.
· Monitor progress through clear KPIs and provide regular performance reporting to leadership, the Membership Committee and Foundation Trustees.
· Identify and seize opportunities to amplify and promote members’ giving, in collaboration with teams across the Goldsmiths’ Foundation, Membership. Communications and Finance.
· Contribute to annual budgets and business planning.
· Maintain and develop the CRM system in line with fundraising best practice and UK GDPR, and ensure fundraising is ethical, inclusive and legally compliant.
Skills & Experience Essential:
· Proven track record in fundraising or philanthropy development, ideally within a membership or alumni-based organisation.
· Demonstrable success in growing income from individual donors, including designing and delivering donor acquisition and retention strategies.
· Strong experience in project management, with good operational and planning skills and the confidence to co-ordinate the work of others.
· Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences.
· Data-driven mindset, with experience in CRM/database management, donor segmentation, and campaign performance analysis.
· Strong relationship-building skills, including experience stewarding mid- to high-level donors or members.
· Creative, proactive, and self-motivated, with a passion for mission-led work and a collaborative approach to achieving results.
Skills & Experience Desirable:
· Experience working in an arts, education, or heritage charity.
· Understanding of membership engagement models and legacy giving,
· Familiarity with ethical fundraising practices and UK charity fundraising regulations.

When thinking about the profile of individuals who would be well suited to this role and who will help bring our events and donor stewardship in the UK to the next level, it is likely you will have consolidated events experience, a talent for building relationships and a proven track record in securing some funds, ideally through relationship-driven fundraising activity.
