You will be joining a small but passionate team, full of positivity, energy and drive to succeed and we need someone who will be a part of our success, helping to achieve our new vision for the charity to ensure we can creating lasting memories for all children and young people with a life limiting illness.

In this role you will be responsible for working across corporate partnerships, major donors, trusts and foundations, with a prominent focus on supporting with account management of existing partnerships and developing our pipeline of prospects. The charity has a history of success in these areas and we would love to have someone join the team to build upon this success.

Ideally the candidate would have existing experience in corporate partnerships, but we are open to candidates with experience in one or more of the fundraising disciplines mentioned above, with a willingness to develop their skills and experience, through a supportive, coaching and a mentoring leadership style.

Key Responsibilities

Partnerships

• Support with creating proposals and pitches to secure Brand, Corporate and Commercial Partnerships, with a strong focus on shared purpose and mutual benefit, to create successful long term strategic partnerships.
• Support with relationship management of current partners of Rays of Sunshine, ensuring they have materials to aid their fundraising.
• To manage the input of corporate partnership data on the CRM system (currently Donorfy).
• Manage the updates to the corporate pipeline master document, ensuring appropriate actions are met within deadline.
• Supporting the Corporate Volunteer Researcher to undertake the necessary research to support our pipeline of approaches.

Philanthropy

• Creating supporter updates and reports to demonstrate the impact of funding received from our Patrons and Major Donors, providing excellent stewardship to existing donors.
• Provide support with the event planning of major donor events, and attend in person to provide support of events on the day. 

Trusts and Foundations

•  Support with research and the successful completion applications to secure donations from a pipeline of identified Trusts and Foundations

Stewardship

•  Identifying new opportunities to create wow moments for donors and provide excellent stewardship of all major donors and partnerships.

General

• General administrative duties, including record meeting notes and actions, following up with partners, sending out of promotional materials, monitoring and responding to email enquiries, and taking telephones calls.
• Any other duties to support the success of the fundraising team.

Main areas of responsibility

This is a key senior role within the Fundraising Directorate, collaborating closely with the Senior Corporate Manager – New Business the Fundraising Leadership Team to grow income and awareness from corporate sources.

About the role

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).

The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team.  Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams.

The Digital Fundraising Manager for WWF International will work to deliver effective digital strategies and techniques across selected markets, with the ultimate aim of maximising short and long term income (primarily unrestricted). The post-holder will create and implement online donor acquisition and retention strategies, as well as develop a diverse portfolio of fundraising products for WWF International. The role is also responsible for providing vision and leadership for WWF International in the fast-moving area of digital fundraising.

This is an exciting time to be joining the team. WWF International is aiming to strengthen its digital fundraising capacity by optimising the current technical infrastructure (contact management tool, mass engagement tool, etc) and develop a strong online donor experience to acquire and retain donors in selected WWF International markets.

The ideal candidate will have significant levels of experience in the field of digital fundraising and of using digital to drive supporter action online and offline. This should include experience of designing, planning and delivering successful digital activities, such as designing and optimising the donor journey, SEM/SEO/SMO, social media (paid social) and/or digital advertising campaigns (paid search, Google grants) that generate incremental income. In terms of skills, you will need to be creative, entrepreneurial, be able to think strategically, design effective data-based action plans, and possess excellent project management skills. The Director of Development and External Affairs will determine a strategic plan for business development, fundraising and commercial opportunities within the remit of the role. Supported by a small Development team, this will include corporate sponsorship, hire and hospitality, filming and photography location shooting, as well as fundraising revenue streams. You will manage both capital and revenue income targets and support an experienced Audience & Communications team to increase visitor attendance to achieve c. 400,000 visitors per year. Crucially you will deputise for the Chief Executive where appropriate.

The selected candidate will have leadership experience in an organisation of at least comparable scale and complexity and will have a track record of developing and delivering successful strategies across, fundraising and business development and preferably marketing.
