Duties and key responsibilities:
Office Maintenance
- Oversee the general maintenance of the office.
- Manage office supplies by tracking office inventory and replenishing supplies including kitchen and stationery.

1. Background and Purpose
The Deputy Director works in close partnership with the Executive Director (ED) to enhance the work of the small, dynamic secretariat team to create more momentum across its network. This new role will be instrumental in delivering on the strategic objectives and securing sustainable funding through its continued evolution. Our mission is to manage the homeless animal population, estimated to be millions, through six key focuses: rescue, rehabilitation, sheltering, sterilisation, and education. Within our shelters, inspired by British kennel design and maintained to meet EU animal welfare standards, we can house up to 700 stray dogs at a time. Here, they receive complete veterinary care, rehabilitation, and preparation for rehoming. Since 2006, we have helped over 48,000 animals (primarily dogs and cats) and built two shelters for dogs and one for disabled and senior cats. We also distribute support, primarily through small grants, to six other charities in Romania and over 40 shelters in Ukraine. We rehome mainly in Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK. In addition to our efforts in rescuing and rehoming animals, ROLDA tackles the root cause of Romania's homeless animals through comprehensive neutering programmes and educational initiatives. Job Overview:
As the Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and impact of ROLDA in the UK. This is a remote position (for now) that requires strategic thinking, people management skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to achieving our organisational objectives.

Main purpose of the post
We are seeking to appoint a Business Development Coordinator to join a wider team that spearheads RUSI’s research fundraising efforts. Reporting to the Director, Research Business Development, the successful candidate will enhance the institute’s business development activities by providing administrative and coordination support for business development, contracts, and risk management. We’re an award-winning charity that runs local learning centres in the heart of communities where the young people we support live. Our centres provide an innovative education programme which includes practical learning support and motivational and confidence-building activities for children and young people aged 7-18. As the UK’s leading university access organisation, our staff team is helping thousands of young people each year. We have forty-one centres and extension projects across England and Scotland, with ambitious plans to scale-up our provision further over the coming years.
We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to take up a fixed-term, maternity cover role as Centre Leader at our IntoUniversity centre in Brixton. You will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery. A substantial element of this role is delivering our education programme to children and young people aged 7-18, so you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people, including leading a class of 30 from the front, working with small teams of children and providing one-to-one support.

Salary:
£36,000 per annum (inclusive of £2,200 London contribution). This will rise to £38,100 (inclusive of £2,600 London contribution) from 1st September 2024.

Here at Battersea, we are looking for someone to join our Finance & Corporate Services Team to provide comprehensive and proactive executive assistance to the Director and departmental functions across the Directorate.
The successful candidate would be responsible for providing effective EA support, convening and supporting committees and regular meetings across the directorate, supporting on strategic workstreams across the Directorate, and providing a range of administrative and co-ordination support to the Heads of the Finance & Corporate Services Teams including support for team projects.
We are looking for someone who has experience in a similar role with a demonstrable track record of inbox and diary management, administrative support to a Director across multiple functions, with a proven ability to manage the day-to-day operations of a busy office, prioritising a high-volume workload effectively and exercising a high degree of judgment, tact, and discretion at times working to deadlines.
