As Supporter Service Executive, you will be the first point of contact for the charity in Germany and throughout Europe, engaging supporters by phone, email and letter to provide excellent supporter experiences. You will be responsible for managing and processing donations from multiple channels to the CRM, importing data and tracking donations, merchandise orders and legacy income as well as working closely with the local gift processing company to ensure efficient banking and acknowledgement of donations.

The Role

The role

The Mass Market team’s mission is to inspire the UK public to financially support the IRC in order to help people impacted by conflict and disaster. The main purpose of this role is to support the Director, Mass Markets UK in generating long-term sustainable growth, maximising net unrestricted revenue and developing a supporter-centric fundraising model.
As the Senior Acquisition Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading the Acquisition strategy and programme across cause and prize-led programmes, supported by a team of three. You will be responsible for significantly growing the supporter base and meeting income targets by optimising our multi-channel cash and regular giving programmes and expanding into new products, channels and audiences. You will respond to emergency appeals led by IRC, and as a member of the Disasters Emergency Committee, ensuring speed to market and maximum net revenue are prioritised at all times.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategy and programme development (50%)
- In consultation with Director of Mass Markets, UK, lead on the development, implementation and monitoring of the UK Acquisition strategy and operational plan
· Maintain and develop a monitoring and reporting framework for acquisition activity and associated KPIs that show the performance of the acquisition strategy
- Oversee donor acquisition and revenue activities across cash, regular giving, lead gen, lottery and the mid-level portfolio

My Name’5 Doddie Foundation was set up by late rugby legend, Doddie Weir, who was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND) in 2017. A devastating disease with no effective treatments and no cure, each of us have a lifetime risk of developing MND of 1:300. The condition takes the life of one third within a year of diagnosis and half within two years.
The Foundation has a single, clear vision: a world free of MND. Funding research lies at the heart of everything we do; it’s what allows world-leading experts to investigate potential drugs, expedite new treatments and, fundamentally, work towards finding a cure for this disease. In April 2023, we launched our ambitious new research strategy “Catalysing a Cure” which outlines our continued commitment to our vision and to all the people affected by MND.
The Director of Research is a key position in the organisation that leads our research activities, managing a small team as we invest in a prioritised and focused research portfolio. Working alongside the CEO and senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing our research strategy, programmes and initiatives. Knowledge of the research grants system is essential; we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running. Responsibilities:
HR & Operations
● Manage Coney’s operations, resources and materials to ensure our activities and processes are high-quality, fit for purpose and well-managed.
● Support the Directors to engender positive staff relations and good communication throughout the company, those representing it and its networks.
● Oversee Coney’s remote-working and office systems, including IT systems, schedules and other resources, ensuring that they are fit for purpose and cost-effective.
● Manage Coney’s statutory obligations with Companies House, the Charities Commission and other bodies and regulatory authorities, with support from the Directors.

Marketing & Communications
