The Events and Partnerships Officer will play vital part of delivering a dynamic calendar of events that support our partners and new partner acquisition, developing our industrial supporter programme and supporting vital processes across the income generation team. The role requires initiative, creativity, and independence to manage projects from concept to completion, working closely with the Events and Partnerships Manager to drive growth and engagement across the sector.

Key events include the Annual Conference and Awards of Excellence, All Party Parliamentary Group Air Ambulance Reception and attendance at sector specific exhibitions. The current partnership portfolio includes air ambulance suppliers and other key stakeholders who support the air ambulance community.

Key Responsibilities

Events

• Lead and deliver assigned events from planning through to evaluation, ensuring objectives, budgets, and timelines are met.
• Develop and manage relationships with sponsors, partners, exhibitors, and delegates to maximise engagement and value.
• Collaborate with the Income Generation team to identify and secure sponsorship opportunities.
• Manage logistics including venues, travel, accommodation, catering, and supplier contracts.
• Attend and represent AAUK at internal and external events and conferences, including occasional overnight stays.

Partnerships and Growth

• Support the recruitment and retention of Industry Supporters through an active pipeline.
• Support the development and delivery of AAUK’s growing partnerships portfolio, working collaboratively across teams to identify opportunities.
• Contribute ideas and take initiative to grow our events and partnership offerings in line with strategic objectives.
• Foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

CRM & Stewardship 

• Leading adherence to AAUK’s CRM processes and standards

• Leading use of and reporting of donation software such as, Payroll Giving, Enthuse and Just Giving platforms.

Person Specification

• Experience of event planning, delivery, and evaluation within a charity, membership, or corporate environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who will promote and increase engagement with the Humberside ABC Service. The Humberside ABC service provides services to anyone affected by crime and as an Engagement Officer you will work alongside our team to enhance the offer we provide by promoting the service and working with our partners including the police.

As an Engagement Officer you will be responsible for:

• Promoting the work of the service through events and presentations
• Providing training and awareness sessions to partner agencies including Humberside Police
• Maintaining and developing our online presence including updating website information and controlling our social media accounts
• Income generation and identifying fundraising opportunities

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who is motivated, engaging and innovative. As an Engagement Officer, you will play an integral part in developing and embedding our Criminal Justice Champion (CJC) and Victim Friendly Organisation (VFO) programs across Humberside to ensure that victims have a voice within the criminal justice system and organisations are promoting victim's rights and voices.

You will attend events, network with other agencies and develop and deliver presentations to both internal and external colleagues, community groups and other identified audiences. This means that although the role is home-based, regular travel is required within Humberside and occasionally across the wider region.

Purpose of the Role

The Finance Manager is responsible for the effective financial management and in large part, delivery of the church, ensuring robust systems, accurate reporting, compliance with charity and diocesan requirements, and strong financial planning. The role supports the PCC in fulfilling its legal and fiduciary responsibilities and enables staff and clergy teams to focus on the strategic priorities of the church.

This is a broad role with a large scope requiring close attention to detail in a complex organisation. There is a requirement for oversight and management as well as day to day bookkeeping delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management and Reporting

• Oversee all day-to-day financial operations of the church.
• Prepare accurate management accounts for the Head of Operations, Incumbent, Treasurer, and PCC.
• Monitor income and expenditure against budget, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Manage cash flow to ensure the parish can meet its financial commitments.
• Prepare year-end accounts and act as the main liaison with independent examiners or auditors.

• Work closely with the Head of Operations and PCC Treasurer, offering professional financial expertise and support.

The Soldiers' and Aviators' Scripture Readers Association (known as SASRA) is one of the longest-established Christian charities supporting the British Armed Forces. Under Royal patronage and working with over 70,000 soldiers, 30,000 RAF personnel and some 10,000 supporters of various types, we look to introduce members of the British Armed Forces to a practical experience of the Christian faith. 

We are now looking for home-based Regional Managers to help us engage with the Christian public across the UK.

The main function of Regional Managers is to bring before the Christian public the work we do taking the gospel of Jesus Christ and bringing a practical experience of the Christian faith to the young people of the British Army and Royal Air Force.
