Your Mo-Mission (should you choose to accept it):
You will be responsible for growing our portfolio of high-value, workplace fundraising partners which play a vital role in our long-term partnership’s strategy.
This will be achieved by:
• Developing and implementing the UK Corporate (B2B) acquisition strategy, in line with the wider organisational and team strategy
• Developing and managing a robust pipeline of high value workplace or impact prospects
• Working collaboratively with other Movember income teams in the UK, Europe and in our other key markets, as well as with other Movember functions locally and globally (marketing and impact in particular)
Strategy, Planning, Reporting and Analysis
• In collaboration with both the Director of Corporate Partnerships and the Heads of within the team, implement the Partnership strategy for the market set by the Director and Heads of the team
• Achieve revenue targets set for the Partnerships team as part of the annual planning process
• Deliver regular data, insights and evaluation to inform the Head of New Partnerships on progress and performance
• Record all points of contact, information and interactions with prospects in the Salesforce
• Work strategically with other Partnerships Managers within the team to ensure partnership activity across all partners is best-in-class
Business Development
• Work with the Corporate Partnerships team to create a pipeline of high value prospects to ensure annual and long-term fundraising success
• With colleagues, develop and implement the UK Corporate (B2B) acquisition strategy, in line with the wider organisational and team strategy
• Develop and manages a stewardship plan of prospects with the goal of securing high-value partnerships
• Secure high-value partnerships to meet annual income targets, and other organisational targets in line with the Corporate Partnership’s financial strategy
• Develop excellent tailored pitch proposals for commercial, philanthropic and/or employee engagement propositions
• Prepare contracts as necessary, working closely with legal team and ensure that these are fully adhered to

Minimum 4 years’ experience in Corporate Partnerships or New Business roles within a fast-paced national team, securing high-value 6 or 7 figure partnerships.

Proven track record of developing and executing B2B corporate acquisition strategies that deliver new high-value partnerships.

Demonstrated end-to-end partnership development capability, from prospect identification and pipeline build through to close, contract and handover.

Experience building and managing a robust pipeline of high-value prospects, including disciplined CRM management (Salesforce or equivalent).

About the Role
As Fundraising and Relationship Manager, you’ll work within an ambitious team, securing sustainable income to ensure that the Youth Zone can deliver high-quality, safe and inclusive services for young people. This is a dynamic and rewarding role at the heart of the Fundraising and Communications team, helping to generate the income needed each year to keep the Youth Zone sustainable.
From working with High Net Worth Individual and organisations on the Founder Patron campaign, to working on Corporate Partnerships, individual giving campaigns, major gifts and high value supporters to supporting and growing community-led fundraising, planning and delivering events, campaigns and appeals.
About You
You will need strong relationship building skills, with a proven track record of income generation. Being able to tell good stories around local case studies to build a picture of why a Youth Zone is needed in NEL, along with presentations skills and experience of working is a must.
You’ll bring excellent administrative skills to the role. The team work with a CRM system and require accurate preparation of proposals, gift agreements, and reports. Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities are essential. Most importantly, you have a genuine passion for our local area and for improving the quality of life of our members.
You will have experience of:
- Income generation through personally securing major donor gifts from high net worth individual (HNWIs) and/or corporates, to lower level community and corporate gifts with an impressive track record in securing significant funds and meeting challenging financial targets, including both new business and account management.
- Developing a new pipeline of HNWIs and/or corporate prospects and being pro-active in converting these to active donors.
- Supporting community-led fundraising and events, campaigns and appeals.
- Managing a fundraising pipeline or prospect list, from initial research through to proposal, sign up and stewardship, using a CRM system, such as Salesforce to track progress and outcomes.
- Producing high-quality donor reports, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations through clear narrative, data and case studies.
- Representing an organisation externally, such as at funder meetings, networking events or presentations, with confidence and professionalism.

The Role
As Community & Events Fundraising Manager, you will play a vital role in generating the income needed to sustain and grow our services. Young Citizens is seeking a Business Development and Special Projects Lead to support a critical year of fundraising, income generation and partnership development. Strategy Development
- Develop and deliver an ambitious legacy and in-memory giving strategy and operational plan, driving sustainable income growth and achieving KPIs.
- Develop and implement associated objectives, workplans and KPIs to track progress.

Management of Legacy Programme
- Responsible for ensuring legacy programme meets annual targets, with appropriate stretch targets in place.
- Work collaboratively across all Income streams, Communications and Impact to drive growth in the identification and cultivation of new legacy pledgers.
- Organise legacy events to support cultivation and stewardship of legacy givers.
- Work with Retail to embed legacy messaging in our charity shops and use in‑store activity to grow awareness and legacy leads.
- Provide exceptional stewardship of legacy pledgers individually and collectively, through the development and implementation of a legacy stewardship programme.
- Sensitively and expertly co-ordinate with the legacy administration function (which is outsourced), including regular communication with our professional legacy advisor, exploring and initiating stewardship and impact reporting activities.
- Collaborate on and personally take steps to maximise existing initiatives such as Gifts in Will month and identify new opportunities to market legacies and grow pledgers.
- Lead on developing and leading initiatives to improve awareness of legacies amongst charity staff, volunteers, charity shop customers and the Board.
- Collaborate with the Individual Giving Managers to identify and maximise legacy marketing opportunities through existing and new activities.

The Relationship Fundraising team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing income from individuals, regional businesses and groups fundraising in the community, effectively managing relationships to maximise income.
The Relationship Fundraising role will play a significant part in contributing to a high-performing fundraising team. The role will cover the country of Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategy, finance, and reporting

Increasing Community Support within geographical area
· Use own initiative to extend volunteer networks, develop new groups and supporters, and respond to fundraising opportunities within geographical area, in line with strategy.
· Manage recruitment process of new ARUK volunteers in geographical area, providing relevant support and training.
· Liaise with local community organisations (predominantly golf clubs) – both previous and new potential supporters – to extend income and activity in line with strategy.
· Provide face-to-face talks and presentations to community organisations for recruitment/ cultivation purposes.
· Arrange appropriate volunteer representation at events in the community, spreading the charity’s reach cost-effectively.
· Identify, research and target prospective community organisations, in liaison with RFM.
· Identify, research and target prospective local corporates in liaison with RFM / HORF and ARUK’s Partnership Development Managers and Partnership Development Officers, in line with strategy.
· Accurately track and record contact with both community and corporate prospects for planning and reporting purposes.
Monitoring and Reporting
· Ensure that your activity is monitored and evaluated, clearly communicating progress to your Relationship Fundraising Manager.
· Manage relevant information on the charity’s database, keeping detailed, up-to-date records of activity and income.
What we are looking for:
· Experience in partnership fundraising and/or relationship building
· Experience and confidence in public-speaking, such as giving presentations and talking at events
· Knowledge of recruiting key volunteers and fundraising supporters
· Experience and a keen interest in building long term relationships with supporters
· Proven ability of providing excellent stewardship
· An ability to manage a busy and varied workload
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Excellent organisational skills
· Full driver’s license with access to own vehicle.
· Flexibility to work some unsocial hours and willingness to travel independently
· Live within defined region

As part of our Remote ways of working you will be home based. You will only need to attend the office for specific requirements of the role and the business needs.
Roles that are classed as part of the Remote ways of working are able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals. This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.
Our Office: Our office is at 3 Riverside, Granta Park, Great Abington, Cambridge, CB21 6AD.
Salary: Circa £33,500 per annum, plus benefits car allowance of £3,500 and associated expenses (if applicable).
