Trust and Foundaction Stategy Enhancement

• Develop and execute a trust fundraising strategy to increase income and position the Charity as a credible, evidence-led delivery partner for funders

• Collaborate with colleagues across other income streams to maximise cross-team opportunities and share insights on high-value prospects

Knowledge & Experience

• Proven track record of securing five and six figure gifts from trusts, foundations, or institutional funders, including cold prospects, demonstrating confidence in donor acquisition
• Skilled in network mapping, prospect research and business development
• Demonstrable experience of working on major capital appeals or high-value fundraising campaigns
• Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and tailored funding applications

Peaches Womb Cancer Trust is looking for an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager who is passionate about developing accessible and relevant assets that reach all current and future stakeholders of our charity. It is crucial that anyone at risk of, living with and living beyond womb cancer has a clear understanding of Peaches’ mission, vision and support. In this role, you will develop our marketing and communications strategy; planning and implementing tailored activity. You will be responsible for growing the online presence of Peaches Womb Cancer Trust and deepening engagement with stakeholders, ensuring our message reaches the right audiences in the most effective ways. You will also have prime responsibility for managing our social media channels, creating digital content and campaigns that raise awareness, promote fundraising and share the stories of those we support.

You will work closely with our Clinical Nurse Specialist and Operations Executive and will be responsible for ensuring that we have the assets and materials we need to achieve maximum sustainable impact for the charity. You will work within our branding guidelines and budget to build upon our previous assets and materials, increasing engagement across all platforms including the media. About Us

The Bike Project is an award-winning charity which refurbishes second hand bikes and donates them to refugees.  We were founded in 2013 by, Jem Stein, after he struck up a friendship and found a bike for Adam, a Darfuri refugee who had fled his home in Sudan after war broke out.

The Bike Project has grown into a national operation with new CEO, hundreds of volunteers, a team of 20 committed staff, roadshows in different cities, an online shop and two workshops, one in the capital and one in Birmingham.

To date we have supported over 15,000 refugees and people seeking asylum by giving them a second-hand bike. In addition, we have supported hundreds through our programmes designed to build confidence and build friendships in the local community.

Duites and Responsibilities 

This role will provide maternity cover for an initial period of 12 months, with the potential for a 1–2 month extension. It will focus on developing new corporate partnerships and managing relationships with our existing corporate supporters.The role holder will work closely with the Chief Executive and Head of Fundraising, Marketing and Retail to ensure a strategic approach to the development and management of relationships with our corporate partners, enabling us to maximise the potential from them.

As well as leading income generation, the post will develop current and new corporate partnerships, providing personalised stewarding journeys.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of securing income directly from corporates for charity, both winning and securing new partnerships as well as maintaining and developing existing supporters. They will be able to prioritise, manage pipelines, research, pitch and manage partnerships to increase their value.

Hybrid, with one day a week working from our London (Brixton) office. Occasional travel required to Birmingham, evening or weekend work.

Job Description

Purpose:

Event Management

Event Planning

• Lead on the concept and design of new fundraising events.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
• Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
• Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts partners.

Write applications and reports

• Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
• Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
• Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.

Data Management and Monitoring

• Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details in a timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
• Manage the Trusts & Foundations pipeline and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.

Line Management

The Donor Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the Trust’s ambitions to grow and diversify its membership base. This includes providing efficient administration for individual and corporate donors, delivering high-quality customer service, and helping to strengthen member relationships through proactive engagement and milestone recognition. The role directly contributes to the success of the Trust’s urban nature conservation work by ensuring a positive and seamless experience for supporters.

You’ll be based at the Wildlife Trust’s Head Office at Centre of the Earth, 42 Norman Street, Birmingham, B18 7EP, with some work at our EcoPark site in Small Heath and occasional travel across the region and nationally. 

Key responsibilities

 ·Provide administrative support for membership recruitment and fundraising campaigns such as upgrade campaigns, lead generation campaigns and fundraising appeals.

· Accurate data entry into the Trust’s CRM database, including communication records and changes to payment details, changes to Direct Debits information, gift aid declaration, contact information and marketing preferences. 

· Prepare contact lists of new members and lapsed members, to either complete or coordinate welcome/leaver calls as appropriate

· Provide professional and high-quality customer service when communicating with prospective or active member and donor enquiries including via telephone and by monitoring the membership and other inboxes.

· Complete membership renewal processes including the handling of payment by cheques, cash and credit/debit card payments.

· Collate and issue new member welcome letters, welcome packs and Direct Debit confirmation letters in a timely fashion.

· Issue written and / or oral ‘thank you’ communications to members and donors.

· Stock management of member magazine resources and place orders with suppliers.

· Raise purchase orders for commission-based membership recruitment and process clawback claims accordingly.

· Support with the co-ordination and administration of member-only events such as AGM.

· Comply with the Trusts’ Data Protection Policy and ensuring confidentiality of all donor data.

· Maintain awareness of trends in the fundraising sector – particularly membership.

· Highly organised with excellent attention to detail 

· Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment 

· Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook 

· Strong communication skills and able to work independently 

· Experience in the charity sector is desirable

Role responsibilities

· Develop and implement strategies to identify, cultivate, and nurture connections with potential donors that secure six and seven-figure gifts in support of Trussell’s mission and strategic priorities, maintaining a healthy pipeline and accurate records on Salesforce.

· Work closely with Trussell’s senior leadership team and trustees to build engagement with high value donors and create compelling propositions.

· Oversee the development of an events calendar and stewardship communications that provide opportunities to connect, cultivate and steward high value partners and donors.

About the role

As Events Fundraiser you will;

• Meet agreed fundraising targets for events fundraising at Zoe's Place Coventry.
• Create, implement, and evaluate strategic fundraising plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and donor engagement strategies.
• Plan, deliver, evaluate, and grow a diverse portfolio of fundraising events, including the development of new opportunities by producing a business case for investment
• Work with third parties and external event suppliers to deliver high-quality events and maintain long-term, valued partnerships.
• Deliver an outstanding and consistent supporter journey across all fundraising events.
• Recruit, support, and manage volunteers to strengthen the events programme.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the charity to maximise opportunities and cross-promote events.
• Oversee the development of promotional materials and coordinate event marketing across social media, email, and other channels.

About you

To be successful in this role, it is desirable that you have had some experience in Events Fundraising however relationship management is key to this role so other transferrable skills will also be considered.

Who We Are

 Our charity was established in 1992, to provide care and support to people in Sussex, living with and affected by HIV. Over the past three decades there have been huge advances in treatment and care for those affected by the virus. People taking effective anti-retroviral medication (ART’s) can live long lives, with HIV becoming undetectable and untransmittable.

Whilst people who are living with HIV can live longer, many develop other physical co-morbidities as they age and many experience social and self-stigma. Our service users are often from marginalised groups, who often experience inter-sectional discrimination and health inequalities. Many of our service users experience socio-economic disadvantage and have multiple and complex needs.

The Sussex Beacon offers a range of services to people who have been living with HIV for decades through to those who are newly diagnosed.  Our services include:

The Role

This is an exciting time for The Sussex Beacon, as we are about to launch our new 2030 Strategic Plan and move to a new era of delivery, through the evolution of our end of life and palliative care for the LGBTQ+ community.  The Sussex Beacon will be the first Hospice of its kind in the country tackling stigma and health inequalities for those who are most marginalised in our community.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Mass Participation Lead to join our Income Generation team. Working alongside the Head of Income, you’ll take the lead on planning, delivering, and growing our portfolio of mass participation events, including some of the UK’s most iconic runs:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on all aspects of mass participation fundraising events, from recruitment and engagement of participants to event-day logistics and post-event stewardship.
• Develop and implement creative campaigns to maximise participant sign-ups, fundraising income, and supporter retention.
• Build strong relationships with participants, corporate partners, and event organisers to enhance The Sussex Beacon’s presence and reputation.
