Citadel is a volunteer-led project preventing homelessness by helping people find or sustain their tenancies and establish a home. Volunteers, once recruited, trained and DBS checked are matched with those referred for support. ROLE SUMMARY

The Director of Programmes and Partnerships is responsible for ensuring The Diana Award delivers quality impactful programmes and develops strong strategic partnerships that harness young people's power and potential to change the world. This role is one of four Director-level positions within the organisation, forming the Senior Leadership Team alongside the CEO.
The Programmes Directorate currently comprises four teams: Anti-Bullying, Mentoring, Social Action, and Impact and Influence, with a staff count of 25 plus a pool of associate trainers. The Diana Award’s programme strategy (2021-2026) focuses on embedding evidence-driven, youth-led approaches across our programmes, enhancing our profile as a platform for youth-led social action, and increasing our influence on policies affecting young people.
The Director of Programmes and Partnerships will work collaboratively with other members of SLT and the CEO to drive forward the organisation’s strategy and plans as set out in The Diana Award’s five-year strategy, Future Forward, and play a vital role in shaping the new strategy.
As part of our Future Forward strategy, you will lead on the specific objective to develop and deliver programmes for young people that unlock their potential, create opportunities for growth and inspire action.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior Leadership
- Drive the organisation’s strategy and vision as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, taking key decisions in the best interest of the organisation.
- Promote best practices across the organisation, including equal opportunities, risk management, data protection, safeguarding, health and safety, volunteer management, continuous improvement, and staff support and development.

Programme Strategy
- Provide leadership for programmes that deliver high impact, co-designed integrated approaches, which put young people at the centre of design and delivery in line with our theory of change.
- Lead the design, delivery, and review of The Diana Award’s programme strategy, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and conducting quarterly reviews to monitor progress.
- Work with the Impact and Influence team to embed evidence-based programming within the directorate, developing and rolling out appropriate systems and processes for monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
- Oversee The Diana Award’s policy function, supporting the Policy team and heads of teams to develop and embed policy objectives within programme plans, contribute to policy development, and identify opportunities to engage policymakers with our work.
- Identify and develop cross-cutting workstreams and initiatives to support the programme strategy and assist programme managers in their implementation.
- Maximise opportunities for young people to engage meaningfully and inclusively in programme planning, delivery, and review, adhering to sector best practices.

Programme Partnerships and Funding
- Build and maintain strategic programme and policy partnerships effectively through regular communication and quality report production.

FLEX seeks to achieve this vision through the prevention of labour abuses, protection of the rights of those affected or at risk of exploitation and by promoting best practice responses to labour exploitation through research and evidence-based advocacy.
About the role:
FLEX is looking for someone with a passion for improving working conditions in service sectors, such as cleaning. In this role, you will support the development of more sustainable corporate responses through the development of a worker-informed human rights due diligence programme for businesses that contract cleaning services. Drawing on a 2-year pilot where we developed a worker-informed human rights due diligence framework, this work involves a strong worker-engagement element.
Above all this role requires someone with real passion and commitment for FLEX’s work to end labour exploitation and an excitement for ensuring workers are at the centre and actively involved in shaping solutions that work for them. Key responsibilities:
Project Delivery
- Planning, delivering and evaluating worker engagement activities, in line with FLEX’s strategy, safeguarding protocols and approach, ensuring the workers views inform all project outputs, including reports.
- Supporting the development, maintenance, and implementation of robust safeguarding protocols for worker engagement.

About the Team:

The Data Operations Team is responsible for the day-to-day running of WaterAid's CRM and Integration Hub. About the Role:
As our positive and proactive Data Operations Officer you will play a crucial role in ensuring that key processes are efficiently executed and help to coordinate incoming support requests to the team. You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of WaterAid's fundraising data, carrying out data quality checks and financial reconciliation.
You'll also be responsible for carrying out key financial processes from the database, such as Direct Debit and Gift Aid claims. We're looking for someone who is motivated and enthusiastic, with a high attention to detail and the ability to use their initiative to solve problems.

Functions and responsibilities
Organisation level
· Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly budgets and projections at the organisational and programme level along with management accounts and cash flow reports.
· Analyse forward cash and fundraising projections and needs.
· Brief and work with Executive Director on financial, HR and administrative matters including financial needs, staffing, projections, scenarios and planning, and risk monitoring.
· Prepare and present financial reports to Board of Trustees meetings.

About the role
As digital content officer, you’ll design, edit and optimise our web content to help our users feel empowered throughout their breast cancer experience.
From personal stories and blogs to landing pages and webforms, you’ll support teams across the charity and lead the content creation for some of our key projects and campaigns.
You’ll know content design, search engine optimisation (SEO), user experience (UX) and accessibility best practices like the back of your hand and be able to advise teams on the correct approach for their pages. And with support from our digital analytics manager, you’ll be able to advise teams on how to improve their content to drive conversions.
Not only will you be able to take the lead, but you’ll also be a team player. You’ll be able to take direction from the digital content manager on bigger projects and collaborate with other members of your team.
You’ll join the team at an exciting time as we’re amid our digital transformation project. You’ll play a key role in moving our content from the old to the new website.
