Job description

As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will manage and grow our relationships with partners and donors from the private sector, who support our work through donations, employee fundraising and volunteering activities. 

The successful candidate will thrive on cultivating and executing a fantastic experience for our corporate partners, finding opportunities to maximise their engagement and deliver fundraised income targets. The role will focus on managing and growing our existing relationships.

Key Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Manage the charity’s relationships with a portfolio of corporate partners

• Implement account management practices that support continued development and growth of key relationships, ensuring partners feel looked after, valued and understand the impact of their support. 

• Develop strong working internal relationships with colleagues, charity partners and volunteers, to identify suitable opportunities to bring to life the cause and solutions for partners and their employees. 

• Liaison between corporate partners and our volunteer programmes function, connecting partner employees to opportunities and stewarding the activity. 

• Create high quality reports, proposals and presentations that communicate the impact of our work and partnerships. 

• Ensure impactful relationships with challenge event providers and other fundraising products, taking responsibility for selling places in to partners to support fundraising and engagement. 

• Meet income targets of minimum c. £500k pa.

• Ensure the charity complies with the fundraising regulator code of practice and fundraising compliance legislation. 

• Track and report on income, working with Finance as needed 

• Represent The Childhood Trust at events, visits and meetings 

• Contribute to the ongoing development and execution of The Childhood Trust’s strategic goals. 

The skills we are looking for: 

• Excellent communication and social skills to communicate with different audiences, including at Senior level
• Partnership management experience, ideally in a corporate enviroment 
• A passion to support children living in poverty and the mission of the Childhood Trust
• Track record in securing income 
• Great presentation and negotiation skills
• A proven ability to establish long-term relationships with partners and businesses
• Experience and ability to lead projects and manage project groups.

The Digital Transformation Manager leads THET’s efforts to transform our own programmes of work and the way THET  operates, and also that of the Health Partnership community to better incorporate and enable best practice in digital solutions. The Digital Transformation Manager will work with teams across the organisation to consider how in every aspect of THET’s work we can transform our use of technology to achieve greater efficiencies and effectiveness, improve inclusivity and equity, and whilst reducing our carbon footprint. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy

• Lead the review and delivery of THET’s digital transformation strategy. 

• Lead and implement THET’s digital enablers to support the organisation’s strategic plan.

Product management

• Develop and enhance the user experience of both external and internal stakeholders across key digital products including the THET website, Pulse platform, learning platforms and bespoke applications.

• Conduct user research and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a long-term strategy across our digital portfolio.

Stakeholder and project management

 • Provide guidance and capacity development to both THET staff and the Health Partnership community on digital implementations and best practice

• Ensure THET has accurate data and analytics to support operations and programmes across THET.

• Project manage key digital projects including scoping, testing, implementation, and review.

• Engage with external experts to promote and drive THET’s digital agenda across the global health sector.

External representation and publicization

Fundraising and digital transformation project design

• Lead fundraising for digital transformation at THET, working closely with colleagues across the organisation.

Operations

• Manage third party providers including vendors and Managed Service Providers, ensuring compliance with SLA’s.

• Support the implementation of GDPR practices across THET in line with regulation and best practice. 

Line Management

Role Summary

As our Director of Philanthropy, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating the transition to a more sustainable future where everyone chooses delicious, healthy food that is good for all humans, animals, and the planet. The ideal candidate will be a confident fundraiser with broad experience building strong relationships with, and securing funding from, major donors/HNWI, trusts and foundations, and corporate donors within environmental or other international organisations.

Responsibilities

1. Major Gifts, Corporates and Foundations

• Identify and prepare proposals for new revenue streams (think outside the box!), with an emphasis on the climate-food nexus. This includes potential HNWIs as well as large institutions, corporates and climate foundations.

• Identify and develop processes and systems to support the growth of major-donor and foundation income.

• Identify suitable projects within the strategic plan to create the case for support for ProVeg countries and programmes, which fulfill donor preferences and foundation strategic priorities.

• Oversee fundraising events for major donors, and assist the President in managing donor relationships.

2. Management & Leadership

• Lead the International Fundraising team, setting annual goals, providing regular feedback, conducting annual performance reviews, and supporting continuous professional development.

• Mentor country-specific Fundraising colleagues and support ProVeg's country revenue-generation strategies.

3. Development Planning

• Design, develop, and implement a resource mobilization and cultivation strategy for one and three-year periods in collaboration with the President and CEO

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of five years’ experience in senior fundraising at a non-profit, preferably with an international focus. A similar or additional corporate background would also be useful.

• Understanding of effective altruism, and up-to-date knowledge of European fundraising trends.

• A track record of identifying and securing significant, multi-year funds from donors (minimum five to six-figures), particularly new donors and foundations. 

• Significant experience in researching and developing strong stakeholder relationships, as well as experience with writing concise reports.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including confident demeanor and experience in engaging with a diverse range of high-net-worth individuals. 

• Proficient CRM skills and familiarity with fundraising tracking tools and project management

• Willingness to travel, approximately six times per year.

• Strong motivation to support the plant-based movement.

You will be responsible for cultivating a portfolio of prospects and donors through a range of engagement, to gain their financial support for programmes, projects and the wider RSPB. What's the role about?

As a team player with a positive and diligent approach, you will:

• Look after your own portfolio of donors as well as reaching out to prospects and new donors. Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Intermediate levels of fundraising as demonstrated by work successes and recognised fundraising courses
• Experience in how to research and cultivate a prospect. And understanding of how to write a cultivation strategy
• Ability to write funding proposals and prepare briefing documents in advance of meetings and events
• Competent in the use of a CRM system (Salesforce), the Microsoft suite, other databases, research tools and methods
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members, and people and teams outside of our department
• Good judgement when working with donors and ability to recognise potentially sensitive areas between prospects and the RSPB to ensure reputational values are maintained

The Role

As Philanthropy Manager, you will be contributing towards the ambitious plans to further increase reach and impact over the next three years. This role presents an opportunity to manage and grow the philanthropic income, including leading on the development of the Major Donor programme/s.

We are looking for a skilled admin and people orientated person to support our two Joint CEOs (JCEOs) on the journey to further Cardboard Citizens’ ambitions as a dynamic, flexible and forward-thinking social justice charity and theatre company, working with people who have experience of homelessness and poverty or inequity.

This role works to support the Executive Director / JCEO primarily, with some diary support given to the Artistic Director / JCEO. The main focus will be to support governance, finance, fundraising, operations and general management of Cardboard Citizens. You will be someone who places value on systems, admin and infrastructure as the key ingredients that help to support the executive team to achieve success in their roles. You will also have experience in building robust relationships with a variety of stakeholders and enjoy being part of a great team.

Neighbourhood Watch is the largest volunteer led crime prevention and community development charity in the UK. We are expanding our small paid Central Support Team as we have increased our funding through grants and sponsorship. About you

As our Senior Events Manager, you will support a range of high value, high profile fundraising events and high-value stewardship and cultivation across Partnerships and Philanthropy.

You enjoy combining creativity and innovation with more practical responsibilities such as logistics and operations when delivering events. You're highly organised and able to work across a range of priorities and projects. You ideally will already have some fundraising events experience, although not essential. You have strong communication skills enabling you to adapt your style according to your audience; experience of working with high-net-worth individuals or celebrities would be an advantage.

In this role you will expertly deliver critical elements of large-scale and high-profile events including event concept execution, content design, production, guests and committee management. We will also count on you to identify engagement and stewardship opportunities for key high-profile relationships and develop new event concepts that support income growth.

In this role, you may:

• Lead or support on the delivery of a range of high-profile events within the portfolio and/or high-value stewardship and cultivation across Partnerships & Philanthropy.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with event committee members, stakeholders and high net worth individuals to maximise income and secure continued committed support. 
• Manage relationships with external suppliers and agencies to develop relationships and negotiate costs to support a strong ROI on events.
• Provide support for the delivery of the entire total portfolio of events by attending and performing tasks on the day of events delivered by other team members.

To be successful, it is important that you have/are:

• Experience in project management and delivery 
• Experience in working with completing priorities
• Income target driven with demonstrable experience of maximising opportunities
• Experience in managing a diverse workload with multiple deadlines, deliverables and stakeholders
• Exceptional organisational and project management skills
• Ability to use creativity and initiative to develop and implement breakthrough ideas and innovations.

Ways of Working:

Summary of role responsibilities 

• Manage a portfolio of international childhood cancer research projects, engaging stakeholder expertise where appropriate and providing administrative, operational, and relationship management support.  

• Monitor and evaluate the impact of Solving Kids’ Cancer UK’s patient-centric research programme, working closely with the Communications and Campaigns Manager to effectively communicate this to a wide range of audiences.
